Democrats continue to show they will let no tragedy go to waste in an effort to attack Republicans and President Donald Trump. The latest to disrespect victims of the deadly Texas flooding in order to jab at the president was former Barack Obama senior advisor, David Axelrod, who got taken to the woodshed for spreading false information about budget cuts. Axelrod, who also served as Obama’s 2008 and 2012 presidential campaign strategist, shared a link to a New York Times story in a post on X about the “horrific tragedy in Texas.” “This horrific tragedy in Texas is a canary in coal mine. Yes, there’s waste in government.

They were staffed. And frankly there could have been 100 weather forecasters on duty and it would have made no difference. I believe the problem was not having an audio warning system (like tornado systems) and the fact that people ignore such warnings all the time. No one could have predicted the rise of the water so quickly in 45 minutes. I don't know what could have been done but to blame it on Trump is disgusting. Lying dems still lying because it's all they got.

The left is to blame because they stand in the way as best they can of ideas that wander from the Doctrine of Original Sin is Capitalism. And that lens is not working out to focus all data and experience in a helpful way. Specifically it is not working out as a good way to forecast weather. On and on, good money after bad, tragedy after tragedy, they drive to invest everything they own or can borrow or coerce, into their favorite, insane, failed theory.

I'll never forget the 20 inches of rain that fell on Denham Springs, La. I lived there for 18 years then moved in the late l990's. I never heard of 20 inches of rain, yet there it was, a few months after Obama became president. And it seems to me, since then, there have been huge floods all over Republican states. If any human is to blame, it started with Obama. Yes, I believe there is weather tampering. Had I still been living there, I'd have lost everything. Everything!!

The Biden administration temporarily waved in over half a million foreigners with no concrete strategy on how to keep their stay in the country temporary, a government watchdog found. Between July 2021 to January 2025, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) opened the door to well over 800,000 noncitizens through various parole programs, but had no “defined process” to address their parole expiration, according to the DHS Office of Inspector General (OIG). The report also concluded that the Biden administration did not initiate enforcement actions for those whose parole had expired and had no assurances that former parolees were even legally present. “DHS had defined policies, processes, procedures,

President Donald Trump is growing the nation’s workforce by filling open jobs with native-born Americans, rather than importing more migrants to take such work, Bureau of Labor Statistics data reveals. “Compared with the start of the year, foreign-born employment is down by over half a million workers and American-born employment is up by over two million,” Breitbart News Economics Editor John Carney reported. And while hundreds of thousands of native-born Americans are scoring jobs in Trump’s economy, the all-important labor force participation rate rose from 61.4 percent to 61.8 percent, with the highest level ever of native-born Americans employed. The Heritage Foundation’s E.J. Antoni made a similar note,

Everyone knows that the "big, beautiful" tax bill signed into law on the Fourth of July lowers tax burdens for families and businesses. It also averts a $4 trillion tax increase starting next year. That's enough reason to celebrate heartily. But what isn't well known is that this new law doesn't just change tax policy. It includes dozens of other long-sought policy goals -- what I call "hidden gems." Here is a list of some of the major policy victories: The law is the most aggressive federal advancement of school choice by allowing low-income parents to direct education dollars to private, charter, or Catholic schools that are better for their kids.

In recent days, a chilling warning came from one of America’s top counterterrorism experts: Iranian sleeper cells may already be embedded inside the United States—hiding in plain sight, waiting to strike. With tensions climbing after the president’s strike on Iran’s nuclear capabilities, that warning has taken on new urgency. The threat isn’t hypothetical. It’s now a likely reality. And while most states are coordinating with federal law enforcement, tightening security, and staying alert, California has done the unthinkable: It’s opted out. California is the only state in the Union that has withdrawn entirely from the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force—

The government was taken to court by “John Doe” over what the government called “client lists.” The government courts made a ruling about the “client lists” not being released.
