Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) is withholding support for President Donald Trump’s nominee for U.S. Attorney for D.C., a move that could result in MAGA villain Judge Jeb Boasberg choosing who would fill the role — potentially even former Special Counsel Jack Smith. Trump, who announced in December 2024 that Ed Martin would serve as Chief of Staff at the Office of Management and Budget, installed Martin as interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia on January 20, 2025, later formally nominating him to take over long-term.

India was under pressure by both sides, the USA and China. Part of the Trump Indo-pacific plan was a geopolitical trade strategy aligning the United States with India. However, Beijing was pressuring India to reject alignment with the USA and form a mutually beneficial trade block with China. India has rejected the Chinese plan and chosen to follow the USA model because access to the U.S. consumer base is the stronger economic influence.
(snip) Reports indicate that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is ready to accept all conditions of the US in a trade deal.

CNN thought it was a good idea to air a sympathetic interview with a Sinaloa Cartel member, and it shockingly didn’t go the way they wanted.
X users are dragging the network for asking the anonymous gang member how he felt about President Donald Trump labeling him and his group terrorists after Trump vowed to crack down on drug trafficking. Perhaps the most shocking part of the bizarre interview, filmed in a secret location in Mexico, was that the gangster said that Trump has his “respect.”

Fox Business host Charles Payne tore into people taking advantage of the Biden administration’s decisions to defer or forgive student loans Monday, saying it was time to “pay your damn student loans.”
The Department of Education announced it would resume collections on delinquent student loans, ending a pause from the COVID-19 pandemic that the Biden administration sought to continue, The Hill reported. Payne expressed little sympathy for claims that forcing borrowers to repay student loans would cause them financial hardship.

Pro-migration advocates are denouncing and urging illegal migrants to reject President Donald Trump’s offer of $1,ooo and free airline tickets to leave the country.
“This option might be WORSE for people who take advantage of it,” claimed Aaron Reichlin, a pro-migration advocate for the Immigration Council advocacy group. “For people [illegal migrants] in immigration court, it would likely mean a deportation order. For others [not detained for deportation], it would abandon clear options for staying.”
The economic payoff from subsidized re-migration home could be a huge economic windfall for ordinary Americans who will see better wages, more workplace investment, and cheaper housing.

Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) is pushing amnesty for millions of illegal aliens in the United States in response to President Donald Trump’s newly announced self-deportation program.
On Monday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced the launch of a program that will provide illegal aliens with a $1,000 stipend after they have proven to federal officials that they self-deported from the United States using the CBP Home mobile app.
Similar self-deportation programs, Breitbart News reported, have been adopted by European countries such as Germany, Denmark, and Sweden with much success in cutting illegal immigration.
In response, Gallego suggested he opposed self-deportations and instead offered an amnesty plan

Leftists across the country, many of whom are Boomers trying to relive their “glory days” of the 60’s, continue to protest against Donald Trump’s efforts to Make America Great Again.
While they lecture us to “believe all women,” they shout about bringing back a man who woke up in the middle of the night to slap his wife.
They shout about DOGE finding diabolical waste of taxpayer’s hard earned money across every component of the federal government because, apparently, they want the waste.

Liberals will tell you that all illegal immigrants are just good-hearted people who want to work as maids, gardeners, crop pickers, and do the “jobs that Americans don’t want to do.” We always knew that sounded kind of racist and wasn’t true, but Donald Trump has fully exposed the lies of the Biden administration by proving that—despite Ole Joe’s assertion that he couldn’t stop the human tsunami—it could actually be done relatively quickly.
Which is course, is exactly what Trump did.
More and more news has been coming out about how among the millions of illegals Biden welcomed into our country, there are numerous gangbangers and vicious criminals.

There have been a couple of aphorisms the press loves to trot out to the public as a means of describing – or more accurately deflecting away from - their actions and practices. The first is “We are not the enemy of the people.” Another is that they do not need to give equal airtime to issues because if they give Republicans a fair shot at coverage they are platforming what the press deems to be misinformation. Giving both sides of a story will legitimize the “wrong” side, in their elevated thinking.
Now keep these chestnuts in mind

MSNBC's "Morning Joe" had to retract a false claim by former FBI official Frank Figliuzzi suggesting FBI Director Kash Patel spent more time partying at nightclubs than working. It marks another embarrassing blunder that underscores the network's vulnerability to airing unverified allegations made by Figliuzzi.
Figliuzzi, a top FBI official during Obama’s first term and current NBC News analyst, made a sensational claim on Friday's show, suggesting there is "chaos" under Patel's leadership and that he spends significantly more time at nightclubs than he does working.

I can also remember seeing two different totals on that first paycheck, and my dad explaining to me what was meant by "net" and "gross." After years of gender confusion being pumped into public schools, drag queens reading to toddlers in libraries, hormone blockers being given to children behind their parents’ backs, and activist teachers deliberately undermining family values—we’ve arrived at the next predictable, sickening stop on the cultural depravity express: the normalization of pedophilia.
The latest revolting example comes via a City Journal exposé on “B4U-ACT,” a Maryland-based organization that openly campaigns to destigmatize pedophilic attraction. The group pushes for the use of the term “MAPs” (Minor-Attracted Persons) to replace “pedophile,” argues for so-called “affirmative therapy,” and wants to give pedophiles a say in how they’re treated—yes, really.

It’s times like these that remind me that the Latin root of the words “Senate” and “senile” are the same. Of course, all bad senators aren’t senile. Some are just stupid. But sadly, even the stupid ones are necessary because we must keep the Senate in 2026 to make Donald Trump’s second administration a success. That means we must be smart and self-sacrificing, and GOP senators (and aspiring senators) must be smart and self-sacrificing. Which means we have a challenge.

Yeah, they were illegal aliens.
First responders found Aleksandre Modebadze beaten to death at his home in Woodland Hills on April 26. Two days later, police arrested three illegal Georgian nationals — 38-year-old Paata Kochyashvili, 46-year-old Zaza Otarashvili, and 52-year-old Besiki Khutsishvili.
"In their investigation, homicide detectives determined three suspects had entered the home. After gaining entry, Modebadze was held captive and assaulted," according to a local TV news report.

common talking point trotted out to defend congressional Republicans’ failure to advance conservative priorities is that the party has slim majorities, and therefore, trying to pass anything outside of the usual “uniparty” slop is next to impossible. But if that’s true, why does the same dynamic exist in states where Republicans have much larger legislative majorities and control the governor’s mansion?
On Wednesday, the GOP-controlled Texas House — which is run by liberal Republican Speaker Dustin Burrows — passed a bill that effectively seeks to criminalize the posting and distribution of certain altered media in political advertising.

Its ultimate fate will probably rest with the state of the economy by the November 2026 midterm elections.

We have entered a whole new era in our country’s political history. This is something we have written about before, but this current Rasmussen polling offers more evidence: Whites are a relatively weak group for President Trump, as are old people. He scores best with Hispanics, second best with Asians. Sex isn’t a big factor, although Trump is obviously more popular with men than with women. And age doesn’t matter much, either.
In other words, the Democrats’ relentless focus on “identity” is wholly misguided. “Identity” matters less than it ever has in our politics. And if Democrats think they are currying favor with Hispanics by aligning themselves with Central American gangs
