On Monday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced the launch of a program that will provide illegal aliens with a $1,000 stipend after they have proven to federal officials that they self-deported from the United States using the CBP Home mobile app. Similar self-deportation programs, Breitbart News reported, have been adopted by European countries such as Germany, Denmark, and Sweden with much success in cutting illegal immigration. Hyrum Baquedano-Rodriguez, 26, an illegal from Honduras, had charges, including home invasion and child abduction, dropped in the blue city of Fairfax, Virginia, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has announced he is now in their custody.
According to Fox News, “Fairfax County police arrested Baquedano-Rodriguez on Nov. 9, 2021, and charged him with three counts of indecent liberties, including exposing genitals to a child and indecent exposure.”
After local authorities dropped a series of his charges, ICE stepped in and arrested Baquedano-Rodriguez, who is now in custody pending removal.
Attorney General Pam Bondi said Tuesday that authorities have made one of the biggest fentanyl busts in U.S. history with the seizure of 11.5 kilos of the drug, including 3 million pills.
Bondi said that around 35 kilos of methamphetamine, 35 kilos of meth, 7.5 kilos of cocaine and 4.5 kilos of heroin were also seized along with $5 million in cash and 49 rifles and pistols.
Sixteen people including three women, were arrested in the operation. Six of the males are in the U.S. illegally, Bondi said.

A 55-year-old Akron woman was arrested May 5 and charged with multiple drug offenses after a raccoon was discovered in her vehicle holding a meth pipe in its mouth, Springfield Township police posted on Facebook.
Officers initially conducted a traffic stop at about 7:15 p.m. after identifying a vehicle whose owner had both an active warrant and a suspended driver's license.
After officers detained the driver, police then discovered a raccoon named "Chewy" sitting in the driver's seat with a meth pipe in its mouth, police reported.
