Taylor Swift’s Twitter/X profile reads: “I'm the problem, it's me.”
The infamous Eric Conn would likely agree with her statement, as he caused a lot of waves on Twitter/X last month when he posted the following about Swift: I tend to agree. We are sitting by and watching our young girls idolize someone who not only dresses in the most provocative of manners, but whose songs on broken relationships leave little to the imagination. It’s out there, free to the public, and pushed on our children.

Not long ago, Switft went through some sexual escapades with a boyfriend and those pics and videos apparently got out into the public domain. From a disgruntled ex-boyfriend? Swift is hardly the morally upright entertainer and is a poor role model for young women.

Doesn't everyone want their son or daughter to grow up and into the role of sex toy for the rich and powerful.
The decline of Rome has nothing on us baby...

Before there was Taylor Swift, there was Madonna, who taught an entire generation of brain-dead young girls that slutty was cool.

I don't know much about her other than far too many females are obsessed with her and her generic pop tunes. That and the fact that if a male celebrity had as many partners as she's had, he'd most likely be referred to as a pig, not an icon, and the #metoo brigade would be after him.

Madonna was probably just a bad 40 years ago, didn’t really like her music either, then along came rap. Truly disgusting.
I guess the only positive here is maybe Swift is a sign things might start swinging back to actual music.

She's an adult woman - 33 years old I believe - which does surprise me) as her songs /lyrics sound like they've been written by a teenage girl.

Taylor Swift has a knack for writing catchy pop tunes. She grew up in a stable family, has a brother and from all accounts she loves her parents.
I don't dislike her, but I fail to see her HUGE popularity.

Taylor Swift is toxic. It's all about her. My take on the current Swift/Kerrse coupling is that Swift knows her biological clock is ticking, and despite her generally male hating songs, she wants a kid. She sees this Tight End as a perfect specimen to create her kid. It's either that, or football fans were an untapped source of revenue for her music and the spectacle of every NFL game, especially the world champion Chiefs, was the perfect avenue to sell her music.

Not too long ago, a country star at an awards ceremony thanked a young Taylor Swift for not "twerking" and misbehaving in public. Yet look where she is today, doing just that.

I ve followed her since before she serenaded Tim McGraw and Faith Hill either song,"Tim McGraw" at the CMA"s what seemed to be ages ago. She has a private persona and a public persona that seem to be at odds with each other. My guess is that her parents are terrified for her. She has trajectories out of normal existence to another realm.

Mommy and daddy are connected hedge funds brokers. She wanted to do this too. My granddaughters love her. No fan, but there are worse.

Anyone remember what happened to Taylor Swift's last boyfriend?
Just days after Swift gave an impassioned speech about her support for LGBT rights, her boyfriend was caught giving a give a kiss to a man. How did she respond? She dumped her boyfriend. I guess she isn't pro-LGBT after all.

Taylor Swift is a grown woman in her thirties who plays to the 8 and up female fan base. These 8 year-olds are the mean girl starter kit. They memorize her bratty revenge song lyrics and emulate her airhead lifestyle. Taylor is close to aging out. She will be replaced probably by the reptilian North West.

Oh good grief! Every Generation has had their "Taylor Swift"! In my time it was Elizabeth Taylor (who was the Hussy who stole Debbie Reynolds Husband)! She put on quite a show in low top dresses that were very seductive! She slept around and had about 8 husbands (If my memory is correct) and nobody cared. She was number One on every Movie Magazine I ever bought! So, I don't worry about Taylor. I think she always looks well dressed when out in public. Are her Costumes Skimpy? Sure! Have you seen anything else from performers on TV, or maybe the Super Bowl entertainment at half time (when you have to remove small children from the room)! You want to pick on someone, how about the women on Yellowstone who look and act like Hookers! IMHO I would rather get rid of them, but I'm betting a lot of those here, who think Taylor Swift is terrible think the female Performers on Yellowstone are just fine! Taylor is a Young, Beautiful and Talented Lady. She is unmarried, so she can date a different guy every week if she wants. So what. And we shouldn't believe every guy who dated her and now is writing sour grapes things about her! They're Losers!

I’m not a Swiftie by any means, but she’s a good songwriter and vocalist and an acceptable musician, and deserves every cent and dollar and minute of fame she gets because she worked hard for them and continues to do so.
Too many of the criticisms I read of her seem to come more from jealousy than from people who are working equally as hard.

Taylor Swift is a low talent little rich girl who's dad bought her this fame. And has anyone else seen Madonna's performance where she's leaning back against steel bars and just shaking herself trying to look sexy. Pathetic. She's in her 60's and had a near death experience (can we say od.) But she won't stop.Fame and adoration is addictive, I guess.
