Sen. Mitt Romney said he would vote for a Democrat over former President Trump or businessman Vivek Ramaswamy in a potential 2024 general election matchup. “I’d be happy to support virtually any one of the Republicans, maybe not Vivek, but the others that are running would be acceptable to me and I’d be happy to vote for them,” Romney said to CBS news host Norah O’Donnell in a clip which resurfaced online Saturday.

WOW!! I'm shocked to hear this coming from a solid, rock-ribbed conservative like Mitt Romney! If he's concerned, maybe we should all be concerned about Trump! Yeah, I couldn't even type that with a straight face. Romney, like GW Bush, is a RINO and a thin-skinned loser who can't get over the fact the voters had the gall to reject him and that he didn't have throngs of cheering crowds showing up to listen to his (self-proclaimed) wit and wisdom.

We're at the point in Utah where globalist uniparty voters (both RINOs and Dems) almost outnumber conservative Republican voters here. Most of our representatives are still conservatives, but Dems are taking over Salt Lake City and the RINOs control the voting oversight. Romney is just behind the Mormon church 12 leaders as an influential Utahan here. Utah is becoming a fake red state.

Two teen students died at New York University just two days apart, according to police. Last Thursday, 19-year-old student Jacqueline Beauzile was found unconscious and unresponsive at Lipton Hall, which typically houses freshmen, cops said. EMS responders arrived and pronounced the Hempstead, N.Y., teen dead at the scene. Two days later, the body of 18-year-old student Doreah Salti was discovered outside the school’s Barney Building on Stuyvesant Street, which is home to the art department, police said. Salti, of Hinsdale, Ill., was found around 7:30 p.m. unconscious with severe trauma to her body indicating she had jumped or fallen, cops said.

The deadly shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory parade that killed one and injured nearly two dozen was the result of a personal dispute that exploded into violence — and cops have detained three people who may be at fault, authorities said Thursday. Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves emphasized that the Wednesday afternoon attack on the west side of the city’s landmark Union Station had nothing to do with homegrown terrorism or violent extremism. Instead, the shooting “appeared to be a dispute between several people that ended in gunfire,” Graves told reporters at a Thursday press conference.

One of the key and scripted moments was Biden angrily denouncing Hur for raising his son’s death. Many in the media eagerly replayed the clip the next day, calling Hur’s question outrageous, callous and unprofessional. But NBC reports it was not Hur but Biden himself who raised Beau Biden’s death.

The judge overseeing former President Donald Trump's Georgia election interference case is set to hear arguments over motions to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, primarily over accusations from Trump co-defendant Michael Roman that she benefited financially from a "personal, romantic relationship" with prosecutor Nathan Wade, who she hired for the case. Willis and Wade, in a court filing, admitted to the relationship but said it "does not amount to a disqualifying conflict of interest" and that the relationship "has never involved direct or indirect financial benefit to District Attorney Willis."

Psssst. Wanna’ buy a new electric vehicle (EV)? No, me neither, but some people do and they’re being greeted by desperate car dealers willing to slash prices by anything up to a quarter in an effort to shift stock. This Is Money reports the average discount on a new EV in the UK has increased by 204 per cent since last January, citing market analysis by What Car? as dealerships are going to extraordinary lengths to stimulate sluggish sales. The revelation comes just days after a Lords Committee warned the Government that UK drivers are turning their back on the electric transition. They are blaming a toxic combination of high purchase

One of the tricks of knowing when a leftist judge is pulling a fast one is if the decision is really, really long. (snip) Indeed, generally speaking, in my thirty-five years as an attorney, I’ve never seen an appellate court uphold damages so disproportionate to actual injuries suffered—and again, there were no injuries in this case. The fact that there were no injuries in itself means that the case, from ig to zack, denied Trump due process. I don’t see the judgment surviving an appeal, that’s for sure. (snip) And so, I think that this latest assault on Trump, rather than filling people with revulsion, will bring many around.
