Tucker Carlson sad down with Hunter Biden business partner Devon Archer following Mr. Archer’s testimony to a House Oversight Committee. {Direct Rumble Link}. The first part of that interview was broadcast by Tucker Carlson via Twitter.
Within this part of the interview Tucker Carlson asks Devon Archer about the overall business model Archer and Biden formed in Burisma and what was the specific set of skills that Hunter brought to the enterprise. As noted by Mr. Archer, the relationship and purpose of Hunter Biden was entirely about access to government systems that could benefit the businesses who hired their firm. They were selling influence as a business model

Financier George Soros is almost single-handedly bankrolling a mysterious Texas entity working to build up progressive infrastructure across the Lone Star State in attempts to elect more Democrats, records reviewed by Fox News Digital show.
According to Federal Election Commission filings released Monday, George Soros's Democracy PAC II has provided $750,000 to the Texas Majority PAC during the year's first half. Meanwhile, the Texas Majority PAC's state filings show that the group raised $752,040 during that time, meaning Soros has financially propelled the group.
Texas Majority PAC has maneuvered in the shadows, and virtually no information about the group is available online.

The Wall Street Journal editorial board argued Sunday that Hunter Biden could be prosecuted for violating a "long-ignored law" that special counsel Robert Mueller used to much liberal fanfare in the Russia collusion investigation.
"Judge Maryellen Noreika asked the prosecution and defense in court if their agreement meant the President’s son could still be prosecuted for violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act. Hunter’s lawyers said no, but the prosecutor said yes, and Hunter can thank Robert Mueller if he is prosecuted under that statute," The Wall Street Journal wrote.
Hunter Biden's alleged overseas business dealings, tax evasion and gun charges have made him a target of a federal investigation.

A New York Supreme Court judge has quashed a pair of subpoenas brought by Manhattan district attorneys seeking emails sent by former first lady Melania Trump in a case against former President Donald Trump.
Prosecutors for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office had issued the subpoenas seeking emails from Melania Trump and other documents as part of Mr. Bragg’s case against the former president over alleged falsification of business records.
But those subpoenas were quashed by New York Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan, who said in a ruling (pdf) attached to a July 27 court filing that the subpoenas were far too broad in scope.

Until the era of Barack Obama and Eric Holder, the efforts of the community activists were to excuse and absolve the transparently guilty. It was only when Barack Obama and Eric Holder moved into office that things changed; the inflection point was achieved.
What we now consider the weaponization of the DOJ is actually the outcome of Main Justice merging with community activism. Instead of the long-standing method of absolving the transparently guilty, the justice system was repurposed to accuse the transparently innocent.
Only one voice noticed the changed activity as it was taking place and called my attention to it, that voice was author Jack Cashill.

Lately, there has been much commotion surrounding the Hunter and Joe Biden business scandal. On Monday afternoon, Hunter’s former best friend and business partner, Devon Archer, showed up on Capitol Hill to speak with members of Congress about Hunter and Joe’s shenanigans — all behind closed doors. Devon seemed quite cheerful upon arrival:
(Tweet)Could that smile be concealing ulterior motives? Hunter and Joe should probably be concerned, as Devon may be seeking some revenge. After all, it was Obama and Joe’s admin that had Devon arrested while Hunter got away without facing consequences.
Here’s what Chantel Rion from OANN had to say about that:

“Platitudes”, that’s the best word to describe what the DeSantis campaign previously claimed would be a substantive economic policy outline from the Florida governor. As the policy was unveiled in New Hampshire yesterday, I watched it all {Direct Rumble Link Here} to see what it would cover and how DeSantis would deliver it. Summary, major fail.
First, I must admit to coming to any economic policy outline as presented with a laser focus. You tell me you have an economic policy, and you have my full attention. Why? Because the economic policy of a federal candidate will ultimately determine monetary policy, fiscal policy and foreign policy.

Special Counsel Jack Smith held a press conference today following the unsealing of a federal criminal indictment alleging four counts against President Donald J Trump. [Full Indictment pdf Link]
The four alleged criminal counts are: (1) Conspiracy to defraud the U.S Government; (2) Conspiracy to Obstruct an Official Proceeding; (3) Obstruction of and Attempt to Obstruct an Official Proceeding; and (4) Conspiracy against Rights.
Interestingly, nowhere in the indictment is anything criminally alleged relating to the January 6, 2021, events at the U.S. Capitol (snip) However, you will notice in the Lawfare delivery of the remarks, Special Counsel Jack Smith factually speaks almost exclusively of the January 6th events.

The New York Times has released their first New York Times/Siena College poll of the 2024 campaign season [POLL DATA HERE]. The results of the poll show President Donald Trump playing the role of Godzilla in stomping the field of Republican playdough candidates.
(snip)So, who is this great MAGA coalition that fuels Godzilla? The NYT identifies them thusly: “Mr. Trump held decisive advantages across almost every demographic group and region and in every ideological wing of the party, (snip), as Republican voters waved away concerns about his escalating legal jeopardy. It may be entirely possible in Illinois now for a police officer to demand to see your papers for identity compliance even though that police officer may be an illegal alien who broke U.S. law to enter the United States.
Under a bill recently signed by Illinois Governor J. B. Pritzker, illegal aliens can now become police officers. The downstream ramifications of this effort are not difficult to imagine.
As if the crisis of confidence in the U.S. legal and law enforcement system was not under enough pressure, the reality of lawbreaking foreign nationals and border crossers now controlling law enforcement is a rather remarkable escalation in social fracture.
