Mike Pence on Indictment: Trump Put ‘Himself
over the Constitution,’ Should ‘Never

Original Article

Former Vice President Mike Pence claimed in a statement that former President Donald Trump put “himself over the Constitution” and should “never be President of the United States” after Special Counsel Jack Smith indicted Trump on charges stemming from January 6. Trump was indicted by a Washington, DC, grand jury on Tuesday on four counts, including conspiracy to defraud the U.S., conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights in relation to the January 6 Capitol Riots. “Today’s indictment serves as an important reminder: anyone who puts himself over the Constitution should never be President of the United States,”

Mike, could you explain what you mean by "put himself over the Constitution" - contrasting that with other presidents such as big bidet who have not "put themselves over the Constitution" - and the specific acts Trump did which "put himself over the Constitution" ? In the absence of a detailed, fact based answer I'm going to loath you to the ultimate and think you're a little weasel for piling on with the unsubstantiated claims.

Yet another Republican we once thought we could trust. Pence is another example of who the real backstabbers in Washington are: It's the Republicans. They lay low and the Republican voter thinks they can trust them. Then they strike at the most inopportune time. They get braver over time too exposing their true nature more and more.

At no time did Trump put himself above the Constitution. That's what Pence and the demosluts did. All Trump did was question the results of the 2020 election. He had every right to do so. Even just a few days after the election there was evidence coming in from around the country of suspicious activity concerning the counting of ballots and the ballots themselves. Since then, the amount of evidence of fraud in the election just keeps mounting up. Pence violated his duty by confirming the results even though in several states, the constitution of those states was violated because it was the court system that approved the results instead of the legislature of that state. If Trump broke the law just because he questioned the results of an election, then he's in good company, because there are tens of millions of voters who feel the same way.

Mike Pence put his own politics and Establishment connections over the American people. Everyone in Washington and the media know that there was massive voter fraud. They know. It was on video. It was attested to under oath by scores of people who witnessed it. This constant mantra that there’s no evidence is pure BS. Yes. There is. Lots of it. Question for Mike Pence, did the 2020 election process work as it had every other year? Or, did the J6 issue create an emergency rule that bi-passed the normal Electoral College challenges? And, if the VP has nothing more than a ceremonial role, why did the Democrats feel they needed to pass a law to clarify that role AFTER the 2020 election?

As a former military man, the actions of Michael Richard Pence are nothing short of reprehensible. President Donald John Trump (PDJT) chose this person as his number 2. He was Vice President and I as I'm sure many others thought that he at least had his President's back. It turns out he didn't, and his statements now show what kind of man he is. When you side with your bosses' enemies you are nothing but a traitor. This is why Mikey is polling around 3 percent and will NEVER be POTUS. I have this question for Judas Pence, other eunuch RINOs and especially dimwitted leftist democrats. How did PDJT put himself above the Constitution in regard to J6?

On Thursday, former President Donald Trump left his home in Bedminster, New Jersey, to make a court appearance in Washington, D.C., at US District Court. Upon arrival, he was placed under arrest, processed, and arraigned. Appearing before Magistrate Judge Moxila Upadhyaya, Trump pleaded not guilty. She strongly argued that every time allegations have arisen against the “Biden Crime Family,” the Department of Justice under President Joe Biden has indicted Trump. “I think a witch hunt is really the way that anybody should describe this because it’s not something we’ve seen in our time,” Habba said,

Pope Francis began his four-day visit to Portugal for World Youth Day by blasting capitalism, populism, and insufficient attention to migrants and climate change. “At a time when we are witnessing in many places a climate of protest and unrest, fertile terrain for populism and conspiracy theories, World Youth Day represents a chance to build together,” the pontiff told civil authorities and diplomats gathered in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon. (snip) “According to classical mythology, the ocean is a child of the sky (Uranus); its vastness leads mortals to look up and rise to infinity,” Francis said.

With military recruitment numbers down, it was probably only a matter of time before someone from the Washington swamp bruited the idea of restoring the military draft. Joe Plenzler, whose biography here suggests he's more than a little familiar with the swamp, wrote an op-ed for Military.com, via Tom Knighton, calling for this: Which, no matter how seemingly palatable the modified proposal, is still a restoration of the military draft and all its unpopular aspects, done to boost military recruitment numbers.

It was a rough month for FOX News. For anyone who’s been paying any attention to what a post-Tucker Carlson landscape would look like at Fox News, two things are pretty apparent: That landscape is pretty barren. The suddenly-beleaguered news network has lost so many viewers, its stock was downgraded. Fox News is trying anything — or perhaps flailing about — in response to hemorrhaging viewers, including some shakeups to its primetime lineup. Following all of the recent turmoil FOX News has lost the trust of American conservatives. Only one-third of self-described conservatives trust FOX News the most. They may never gain back those former viewers. And it doesn’t appear to be a priority.

Chicago's new mayor Brandon Johnson took issue with a reporter for using the phrase 'mob action' to describe a rabble of up to 400 teenagers who trashed a 7-Eleven. A huge crowd stormed the convenience store in the South Loop just after 9pm on Sunday and wreaked havoc with some looting items and others vandalizing it. The large gathering resulted in the arrest of at least 40 people, aged 12 to 20, as police tried to get the situation under control. Mayor Johnson was addressing a wide-range of issues during a news conference on Wednesday including migrants, safety and the latest instance of teenagers gathering. But he disagreed with

This may be one of Al Shaprton’s greatest hits. Al Sharpton on Thursday weighed in on Trump’s latest indictment and appearance in federal court. President Trump was arrested and arraigned at the Elijah Barrett Prettyman Federal Courthouse in DC on Thursday on a new set of garbage charges. Trump was hit with 4 counts in Jack Smith’s January 6 case: Conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.
Jack Smith hasn’t charged Trump with

Of all the outrages in Biden special counsel Jack Smith’s latest indictment of Donald Trump — and there are many — the worst comes at the end of the 45-page screed’s Count One, the section titled “The Defendant’s Exploitation of the Violence and Chaos at the Capitol.” This is where Smith waves the bloody shirt. Smith intends to try Trump for the Capitol riot even though he hasn’t charged Trump for the Capitol riot. No rioting charge. No allegation of criminal incitement. No seditious conspiracy, no insurrection, no crime of violence of any kind. To levy such an allegation would have been untenable. Smith’s indictment hides the ball, as did the like-minded.

A woman who is a current breast cancer patient was banned from her hospital over alleged "hurtful remarks" it claims she said about the "LGBTQ community." The patient, Marlene Barbera, was set to receive a mastectomy later this month. Barbera explained that the drama first began after she made a comment about being opposed to a trans pride flag that she spotted hanging in the waiting room of Richmond Family Medicine Clinic in Portland, Oregon. Since then, she has asked online if anyone is able to refer her to an attorney.

Working in law enforcement is a dangerous job, as is protecting the president of the United States. Being the personal chef to the president might be a close second, as these guys keep dying under eerie circumstances. In late July, Chef Tafari Campbell drowned while paddle boarding near the Martha’s Vineyard estate of former President Barack Obama (via Associated Press): Former President Barack Obama’s personal chef has drowned near the family’s home on Martha’s Vineyard. Massachusetts State Police confirmed that the paddleboarder whose body was recovered from Edgartown Great Pond on Monday was Tafari Campbell, 45, of Dumfries, Virginia.

In an op-ed piece for the New York Times on Wednesday, David Brooks had the headline, “What if We’re the Bad Guys Here?” In it, Brooks struggles with the question of why Trump has a commanding lead over the other GOP hopefuls and why he seems essentially tied with Joe Biden on a national basis. All of this despite the fact that Trump continues to rack up indictments like a grandma on a winning bingo streak at The Villages. To his credit, Brooks does conduct a fairly exhaustive self-examination. In the piece, he enumerates the ways and provides examples of how America’s elites have lost touch with, well, everyone else.

Florida governor Ron DeSantis has accepted California governor Gavin Newsom‘s challenge to debate. The back-and-forth between the two governors began in June, when Fox News’ Sean Hannity asked Newsom if he would be willing to debate DeSantis. “I’m all in. Count on it,” the California governor said. “You would do a two-hour debate with Ron DeSantis?” Hannity replied. “Make it three,” Newsom said. On Wednesday evening, Hannity reiterated his proposal: “I floated the idea of a policy-based debate, you know, red vs. blue, red state vs. blue state, between Gavin Newsom and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.” Moments later,

The once-packed corner of midtown New York City where hundreds of migrants lived on cardboard and dirty sidewalks pleading to get inside the Roosevelt hotel to be processed was empty Thursday. City officials remain tight-lipped on exactly how the street corner emptied in just a matter of hours and where the migrants are today. The corner of East 45th Street and Vanderbilt Avenue in Manhattan had been the epicenter of the country's migrant influx. Hundreds lined the block hoping to get inside the makeshift processing center after coming to the area on buses from the south.
