The US soldier who ran across the border into North Korea Tuesday was facing multiple assault allegations as well as a fine for damaging a police vehicle. Army Private 2nd Class Travis King, 23, was accused of punching a man several times in the face at a club on September 25 last year, Seoul court records indicate. Two weeks later, on October 8, Korean authorities responded to another dust-up involving King, who was allegedly displaying “aggressive behavior,” according to the court documents. When police put him in the backseat of the patrol car, King reportedly spouted expletives and insults aimed

Stupid as hell. No matte what he did in South Korea or the USA, nothing that would happen to him will approach 10% of what the Norks have in store for him. Life is all about choices. This is the worst possible choice, and he'll regret it for the rest of his life...which might not be real long.

My brother did two tours in Korea as a company commander and a battalion S-4. He had to deal with several people like this, as Army recruiting standards have been lowered due to their inability to make the numbers. They usually rotated home, to be processed out of the Army, and ended up in civilian jails after continuing to behave as they did in the Army. This yo-yo just took it to a whole new level. He'll have the rest of his life to regret this move.

There are a couple of MP's soon to be busted down, he was under their escort OUT of the country to face disciplinary court upon his return to Base, they got him through airport security to the boarding area, then he somehow slipped them and joined a tourist group on it's way to the border. Did he go to the restroom? MP's didn't go in with him?(Maybe because they were females?) Was he in civvies at the time, or did he have them under his uniform? Methinks next prisoner/disciplinary transports will all be cuffed and flown on military planes instead of commercial.

Looks like Biden’s woke military lost a little diversity and the North Koreans gained a little diversity? Who ever heard of a Private Second Class, as in my Army days and back in 1960-61 when I was an infantryman along the DMZ in Korea, enlisted men were known as Privates or Private First Class before they were promoted to higher enlisted ranks, it was the same when I was in Vietnam during 1968-69. There was never a Private Second Class rank.

#24, the US Army does not have a "Private Second Class" and has not had one since just after WWI. The official rank abbreviation for a private in the second pay grade is PV2 and is referred to as "Private." So, Private Travis King or PV2 Travis King or even Private (E-2) Travis King. But no "Second Class". The Army has opinions about calling its soldiers "second class", although in this case they may be right. Find a site that is official, ending in "army.mil". Any site that ends in .com or .org is not official, and they say so, down at the bottom.

The Norkcoms especially the head fat Korean and his twisted sister really love it when they can capture our military personal. Especially high-ranking ones with security clearances. Imagine their surprise (and glee) that one (lower ranked and apparently stupid) was dumb enough to run on into their country. Yes #29 the Knorks hate Blacks more than the Chinese do. I found that out while in the Navy at the Yokosuka Naval Base club after trying to dance with a Korean girl. Turns out her parents and grandparents were from the Hermit Kingdom, and she turned me down flat. Right after calling me their version of the N word. I wound up dancing with the Japanese American bartender and she wound up with our Chief Sonar Technician who was an arrogant clown, (and a closet racist) so all was good. That was 1989. So I hope that fool likes cardboard soup, moldy rice bowls, saltwater drip torture (I'd rather be waterboarded) and rabid dog pits. Ukrainian authorities ordered a mandatory evacuation of several villages and three dozen other populated areas as Russian troops advanced on the Kharkiv province. The evacuation directive applies to 37 settlements that Russian forces captured early in the 18-month-old war but were liberated by a Ukrainian counteroffensive in September. Citing a Russian attempt to push back into the area, the military administration in the Kupiansk district told roughly 12,000 residents to seek safety elsewhere. The order was initially issued on Aug. 10 but residents have been reluctant to relocate despite Russia's renewed push to retake the region. The resurgence comes as
