Church of England Priests Say Premarital,
Gay Sex Not Immoral

Original Article

A majority of priests of the Church of England want the church to offer same-sex weddings and allow premarital and gay sex, according to a major survey. The survey, conducted by the Times, found most Anglican priests think church teaching should be brought into line with public opinion on moral issues. Most priests support a change to allow gay couples to get married in church, with 53.4 percent in favor and 36.5 percent opposed, revealed the survey, which assessed responses from 1,200 active Anglican priests. The Church of England currently allows blessings for gay couples but only permits church weddings between a man and a woman.

How does the "Church" feel about premarital gay sex during a gay couples wedding? Perhaps the gay couple, if not interrupted, could have premarital gay sex during the ceremony. Ah, asking for a straight friend.

Both "fornication," and "men who lie with men," are explicitly listed as sins in the Bible in many places. COE is just like the Mormons. Anything they don't like it's just, "that part of the Bible was not translated correctly." Can't count how often I've heard that since moving to Utah.

EXACTLY #14 ~ 1 John 2:15 states that we must neither love the world or anything in it. We must choose to do what pleases God, not what aligns with current human opinion about morals or anything else for that matter. He has made Himself very clear about the gay lifestyle BTW; if the priests of the COE do even a cursory search of Scripture on this subject God’s directive is quite easy to find. These priests don't seem interested or concerned about ensuring their congregations find the path to the narrow road. The desire for popularity seems to be driving their statement. Unfortunately we won't be able to learn if their opinion changed 1 second after they draw their last breaths. At that point, it's too late.

Donald Trump says he will lock up his political enemies if he is president again. In an interview on Tuesday, the rightwing broadcaster Glenn Beck raised Trump’s famous campaign-trail vow to “lock up” Hillary Clinton, his opponent in 2016, a promise Trump did not fulfill in office.Beck said: “Do you regret not locking [Clinton] up? And if you’re president again, will you lock people up?” Trump said: “The answer is you have no choice, because they’re doing it to us.” Trump has encouraged the “lock her up” chant against other opponents but he remains in considerable danger of being locked up himself.
