North Dakota Parents Outraged After School
Will Keep Kid's Preferred Gender Identities

North Dakota parents fumed at a school board after discovering it has kept students' preferred gender identities under wraps. Fargo Public Schools publicly announced that they would defy Republican Gov. Doug Burgum’s law that bans such actions in the classroom. “We will not openly out any student because of one law if we know that that’s going to cause harm to that child,” Fargo Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Rupak Gandhi said.

Comments:

Dr. Rupak Gandhi needs to be fired today. First he willingly defies a state law, but more importantly, he is willingly usurping the role of the parent to advance his own far left philosophy.

Parents have the RIGHT to know ANYTHING and EVERYTHING about their child's educational situation.

From what I see, there are three genders out there - male, female, and those sick minds who think they belong to a third gender. Check it out, people; if you have a penis, you are a male, and if you have a vagina, you are a female. Anything besides that, I would say it is "sick in the head gender."

FTA: “We will not openly out any student because of one law if we know that that’s going to cause harm to that child,” Fargo Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Rupak Gandhi said. That's why schools have mandated reporters. A teacher or social worker in the school, or Dr. Gandhi in his office, don't get to decide on their own that a child is or is not at risk of "harm." It's up to the mandated reporter to report suspected abuse. Social Services will then investigate, and substantiate or fail to substantiate the matters of concern. I don't see how the child's mental anguish/confusion, or possible dysphoria (which requires a professional diagnosis) can go unreported without the parents being notified. An entire school system or state and local Social Services agencies could wind up with a lot of explaining to do if they fail to report information to authorities that would lead to a more thorough investigation. Lots of people involved means more liability for more people who play along with this dangerous policy. Dr. Gandhi sounds like an idiot.

Since parents seem bound and determined to continue to sacrifice their kids to the public school system instead of protecting their kids by home schooling or putting them in a conservative private school, I am fast losing patience with them. Nearly to the point of finding my tiny violin. The nation's kids deserve better than to be stuck in these public school asylums run by sickening liberals.

I would not want it to be violent or anything like that, but maybe some home schooling needs to be done with some of these school "officials."

Gender in humans is a dogmatic matter, not a scientific one. Indoctrinating them in public school is unconstitutional, even if it's done in secret.

I am running out of patience with those, like #7, who blame parents, who can not do so, for not home schooling their children or for not sending them to private schools. Public schools are usually the only rational choice. These parents are rightly doing what they must to end the nonsense this school board does is inflicting.

So what are the penalties for violating this law? Is it a felony? Misdemeanor ? Whatever the penalty this Superintendent needs to be held accountable. I hope a personal fine and jail time is part of the penalties. I would love to see some major enforcement on this guy.

In recent years, several school districts have been ousted for keeping parents in the dark about their child’s gender transitions at school.(snip) And last year, Republican Sen. Tim Scott (SC) introduced legislation that would prevent schools from hiding information about a student’s gender identity from their parents. Documents obtained from parental rights organization Parents Defending Education and reviewed by Townhall show that Pueblo School District 60 in Colorado has guidelines to keep students’ “gender identity” secret from their parents.

Earth Day is upon us—that forlorn little non-holiday that some years sandwiches itself between Easter and Passover, or other years trails in the wake of those “real” holidays. So, on this 53rd Earth Day we thought it useful to pose what a real Earth Day should represent and how it could form a central time for a new approach to worship.

Townhall has reported on several situations in which Americans took advantage of COVID-19 pandemic programs and defrauded the government to enrich themselves at the expense of taxpayers, but it turns out there were also perfectly legal loopholes that allowed wealthy Americans to take unemployment benefits — even those who had annual incomes over $1 million. Recent data released by the IRS reveal that thousands of Americans — 19,003 to be exact — reported receiving unemployment compensation in 2020 despite having adjusted gross income of greater than $1 million that year. The amount of unemployment compensation that those millionaires received totaled $263,794,000.

One of the most maddening things about modern culture is the whole issue of pronouns. At the very least, it’s annoying that some people trumpet their pronouns, choosing to base their identity on how people address them when talking about them behind their backs. But it’s even worse the way some people freak out over people using the wrong pronouns as if other people have nothing better to do than keep up with what everybody’s pronouns are at any given moment. Prounoun obsession is the ultimate form of narcissism; it’s entirely self-focused to think that everyone should bend to the whim of what you want to call yourself.
