Eric Adams: ‘Unfair' for Sanctuary Cities
to Carry the Weight of the Border Crisis

Original Article

Posted By: Northcross, 1/25/2023 1:32:28 PM

New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) once again took to the airwaves to say Democratic cities who declared themselves to be a sanctuary for illegal immigrants are being stretched thin due to the large number of people crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. New York City has had to open a fifth shelter for recent arrivals from the southern border, which is in addition to using hotels and homeless shelters to house people coming from Latin America and even parts of Asia. (snip) He went on to blame Republicans for blocking "comprehensive immigration policies" that caused the massive influx of illegal crossings.

Comments:

Adams went on to say that it is perfectly OK for non-sanctuary cities like Del Rio, Eagle Pass, and other small Texas towns to bear the brunt of the invasion. Just leave the Big Apple out of it.

Wow, lie-berals are the most stupid and illogical people on Earth!!!! He gets a few hundred illegal aliens, and cries that he is having to "carry the weight" of the illegal alien invasion. Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona get thousands of illegal alien invaders a day!!!! For your tiny itty bitty brain, Mayor Adams, that is the very definition of "carrying the weight" of this invasion!!! For so long, like most lie-berals, you just laughed at us that we were complaining over nothing. Well, we are at least getting a little laugh ourselves these days at your expense!!!

Isn't it funny how easy it was for all these left wing virtue signalers, when faced with the results of actually dealing with the consequences of their actions, suddenly it's not their responsibility and they ought not have to suffer the consequences. We have a system and laws concerning immigration. These clowns have been the ones who have encouraged and allowed illegal immigrants to pour over our borders. They have blocked reasonable steps to secure the borders and refuse to accept the laws that they and others passed in the past to deal with immigration lawful and illegally. Then they blame us for their sins and play games with words. I say they declared themselves to be sanctuary cities that refused to obey the laws of the nation that they live in. Therefore let them reap the whirlwind that they have sewn.

There is nothing "unfair" about New York City, a self-proclaimed sanctuary city for illegal aliens, finding itself a top destination for Biden's "invitees." New York is getting the imported crime and poverty that everyone knows comes with illegal immigration, coupled with too many people to properly vet, and endless fake asylum claims. Joe Biden's world-wide invitation to everyone on the planet to invade the United States has brought the sloppy consequences that come with sloppy leadership.

What the 101% politically partisan Biden and his leftist Democrat crew have been doing since he assumed office is ignoring and violating the immigration laws passed by Congress, by implementing “open borders” and “catch and release” unlawful schemes along the borderline to flood the USA with as many millions of poor, socialist oriented, and uneducated illegal aliens from the third world as possible, who coincidently fit within the minority group categories of Democrat identity politics. With the political objective of permanently changing the electoral and population demographics of Republican leaning States such as Florida and Texas, and then across enough places in the USA, by transforming those millions of incoming illegal aliens along with the over twenty million illegal aliens who have been sojourning in the USA for various periods of time, through a series of Democrat designed “path to citizenship” amnesties, that Biden and the leftist Democrats believe with create tens of millions of future leftist Democrat foreign born supporters and voters thus keeping the leftist Democrats in permanent political power. Recently an authoritative survey determined that there are actually over 142 million such people in third world countries who would like to enter and resettle in the USA for “a better life”. Common sense will tell you if anything like that were to occur, the current USA as it is constitutionally situated would be destroyed. Notice that those complaining leftist Democrat mayors are not requesting that Biden and his crew remove the incoming masses of illegal aliens from their sanctuary cities or the USA in accordance with the immigration laws. What they want is for Biden to send them as many billions of federal dollars as possible to defray all the costs of resettling the incoming illegal aliens in their cities, a process that would be bound to encourage and invite many millions of future illegal aliens to enter the USA unlawfully.

In many liberal speeches across the nation for a long time praised and welcomed these illegal aliens and this stupid open border policy. It was rightfully assumed by millions that these welcoming sanctuary cities were ready, able and prepared to take the influx. If you were a sanctuary city you should’ve been preparing for this. Now that you’ve been caught with your pants down don’t blame others. Deal with it. This policy should never have been enacted, these people should not be here illegally, and they need to be shipped back. That’s your answer. Quit whining mayor. You supported this so deal with it

Townhall has reported on several situations in which Americans took advantage of COVID-19 pandemic programs and defrauded the government to enrich themselves at the expense of taxpayers, but it turns out there were also perfectly legal loopholes that allowed wealthy Americans to take unemployment benefits — even those who had annual incomes over $1 million. Recent data released by the IRS reveal that thousands of Americans — 19,003 to be exact — reported receiving unemployment compensation in 2020 despite having adjusted gross income of greater than $1 million that year. The amount of unemployment compensation that those millionaires received totaled $263,794,000.

Hospitalizations of U.S. children under 5 with COVID-19 soared in recent weeks to their highest level since the pandemic began, according to government data released Friday on the only age group not yet eligible for the vaccine. The worrisome trend in children too young to be vaccinated underscores the need for older kids and adults to get their shots to help protect those around them, said Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Since mid-December, with the highly contagious omicron variant spreading furiously around the country, the hospitalization rate in these youngest kids has surged to more than 4 in 100,000 children, up from 2.5 per 100,000.

Marisa Pyle, a senior rapid response manager at Abrams' Fair Fight Action, who also worked as a senior manager for Abrams' One Georgia leadership committee during her most recent failed Georgia gubernatorial run, rushed to defend the anti-police protesters and the ensuing chaos. "You cannot commit violence against a window or a car. Killing a human? Now that, that is violence," Pyle wrote on Twitter this past weekend. "Shame on Atlanta's leaders

One of the strangest parts of the COVID-19 pandemic has been all of the public health “experts” who openly lied to the American people while expecting to be lauded as heroes in response. Certainly, most have witnessed Dr. Anthony Fauci’s grotesque level of arrogance over the years, with numerous examples of the good doctor admitting to lying in order to get the outcome he desired from the public. For his efforts, he’s got magazine covers and million-dollar awards. But we shouldn’t forget about Dr. Deborah Birx, the other half of Donald Trump’s initial COVID-19 advisory team. Though she has rarely drawn the

"The purpose of a public ed is to not teach kids what the parents want. It is to teach them what society needs them to know. President Biden helped his convict 31-year-old niece Caroline Biden land an interview for a job at Masimo Corporation, whose owner is one of his biggest donors, but she balked at the $85,000-a-year salary, records from Hunter Biden's laptop show.  Caroline, the daughter of Joe Biden's brother Jim and his wife Sara, in 2017 pled guilty to buying more than $100,000 worth of makeup on a stolen credit card.  She managed to get out of a grand larceny charge and the two-year prison sentence that carried, but was sentenced to two years' probation, which she wanted to serve in Los Angeles to be near her cousin Hunter Biden.

It sounds like a bad joke about woke gone amok, but it’s not. Norway’s University of Bergen is sponsoring research into the burning question of whether and how white paint contributes to white supremacy and why Norway should feel guilty about it because of its role in it. It turns out, you see, that Norwegians were behind the innovation of titanium white paint, which is considered pure white. The university wants researchers to explore “the cultural and aesthetic changes instigated by titanium white … and how can both the material in itself and these changes be conceptualized and made visible?”

The scope of the relevant Presidential Records Act (PRA) includes individuals dating back to the Reagan administration. Both Ronald Reagan and George Herbert Walker Bush have since passed.

An elevated rate of Bell’s palsy was identified among elderly people after vaccination with a Pfizer booster shot, U.S. regulators said in a new study. The “small but statistically significant elevation” in Bell’s palsy was detected after vaccination with Pfizer’s old booster, which is no longer available in the United States, researchers with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said in a preprint study. The elevated rate resulted in an adjusted incidence rate ratio of 1.13 and remained consistent when researchers adjusted for different factors, such as prior COVID-19 infection. A rate above one shows a possible connection between the vaccine and an adverse event.
