Earth Day is upon us—that forlorn little non-holiday that some years sandwiches itself between Easter and Passover, or other years trails in the wake of those “real” holidays. (snip) For the two of us environmentalists—one of us nominally Jewish, the other a recovering Catholic—we find the ill-defined nature of the only day honoring the place that makes life itself possible more than a little sacrilegious. So, on this 53rd Earth Day we thought it useful to pose what a real Earth Day should represent and how it could form a central time for a new approach to worship.

I make a point to wish all the greenies a "Happy Ira Einhorn Day" and point that he was an early proponent of composting.

Earth worship and climate change insanity IS their religion! It is a farce and a sham, but the Leftist imbeciles have sold their souls to Satan and his evil.

I always celebrate it as "Carbon belch day". Run the AC, leave the lights on all night, that sort of thing.

Ah yes, 'Earth Day'..... the first one was celebrated on Vladimir Lenin's 100th birthday -if he had lived that long.
It IS a 'Religious Holiday', the people celebrating it are the Leftist/Communist Gaia worshippers.
Don't let FACTS get in the way!
FAITH (in the Pseudo Science) is the Answer!
I was thinking that the 'Trump-Russia Collusion' was the Scam of the Century, but I have since realized that the whole 'Global Cooling'/'Global Warming'/'Anthropogenic Climate Disruption' scam..... where anything except perfect 'average' weather is claimed to be the fault of those EEEVIL people driving their CARS..
THIS is the SCAM of the CENTURY!

At this time of year, waY back when, we used to have Arbor Day ... we planted trees/
Much more earth friendly than the littering they do at earth days now.

I worship the living God and his Son, not his creation. I am a steward of what has been given to us.

Those two would do well to read their Bibles if they possess one. Not only does God say NO other gods before ME, He means it. People like these two are why the first three punishments mentioned in Revelation are directed at the earth worshiping environmentalists. When God says He is a jealous God and will stand for no gods before Himself, people had best listen.

Earth Day is as good a time as any to increase your production of CO2 to feed more green plants. For every CO2 consumed an O2 is produced. The source of oxygen, through green plant photosynthesis, that you must have.
6CO2 + 6H2O = C6H12O6 + 6O2

It already IS a national day. To be clear, the Earth did not die for your sins, but it is about to, by all ''enviro-weenies'' accounts. Scoldilocks Thunberg, please call your office. Oh. I forgot. There is no office. Pagans can always find a holiday and call it religious.

Started splitting firewood for next winter, so it has a chance to dry. Then cranked up the old grill and did a couple of ribeyes for mother and I. Toasted mother earth with some great bourbon & branch. A satisfying earth day.

I celebrated Earth Day by recalling the 53rd anniversary of the dedication of the Guam Oil and Refining Company. My dad helped start up the refinery and process its first batch of crude oil. The dedication ceremony was April 22, 1970, and our family still has a souvenir ceramic coffee mug from the event. Kinda ironic, don't you think?

By describing one of the authors as a "recovering Catholic" (in other words, an apostate), they manage to insult Christians in general and Catholics in particular. Would they refer to someone as a "recovering Muslim"? Stay far away from these two.

A pagan holiday. How novel. Luckily for the envirocultists, no one in the history of mankind ever thought of it.

We often mock the idea that earth worship is some kind of religion whose patron saints are Al Gore and John Kerry. This article proves that we were spot on.
