Why I believe RFK Jr. will be the 2024
Democratic nominee

If the shocking 2016 presidential election of Donald J. Trump taught us anything, it should be that voters can still be unpredictable and unpollable, and that millions of them believe that the entrenched elites from both political parties no longer hear their voices or speak for them. Voters are continually seeking a new champion. Will Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. become such a champion? I believe so — at least as far as the Democratic primary process is concerned. When that process is final and all the votes from the primaries and caucuses have been tabulated, I believe Kennedy will emerge as the Democratic nominee for president in 2024.

Trump or DeSantis would demolish RFK Jr.

Biden doesn't deserve a second term. Doubt RFK Jr should be the recipient though. The people that run Washington have stepped in and will decide who will be President. Consider it an 'intervention'. They want somebody they can control.

He can't quite be controlled by the radical Woke left or the Deep State. Although the author suspects that Biden will not ultimately run for another term, the powers-that-be would have already lined up a candidate that parachute in at the last moment. There's no need to go through the primaries like RFK plans to do.

RFK Jr. seems to be everywhere lately, interviews with old media, social media, podcasts. The others who may of may not run (please don't let it be M. FTA: "My first reason for predicting a Kennedy nomination is that I am still not convinced President Joe Biden will actually run for reelection, primarily because of concerns regarding his advanced age and the perception of cognitive decline." I recently read another article on aging rock stars who are still active on the road and/or in the studio. Of course it is fair to compare them to Biden. Willie Nelson is 90 and after decades of smoking bales of weed, he makes more sense in interviews than our sitting president does with pre-written teleprompter answers. Smokey Robinson is 82, and his positive influence in music history is felt by average Americans, while Biden has never chalked anything positive in his long, shameful political career. Even today, either Smokey or Carol King, who is Biden's age at 80, would likely make a much more effective American president than Biden but age has little or nothing to do with it. Their IQs are probably double digits above Biden's. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are but a year behind Biden (both 79) and even with their near-lifelong drug and alcohol excesses, both appear more responsive and coherent than Biden. At a mere 75, both Bob Seger and Eric Clapton are still going strong and appear at least 15 years younger than Biden. Whatever your occupation, things are bad when you lack the cognitive ability of Keith Richards but intolerable when your current occupation is POTUS.

Not sure if Bobby JR can end up with the nomination but he is going to be a major factor. It’s going to be interesting to watch. With Biden’s poll numbers tanking, he just might declare that he is dropping out for health reasons (a legitimate reason). The Dem machine can’t run Kackles so we might see a primary fight among RFK JR, Newsome and others yet to declare. I am stocking up on popcorn.

The agreement reached Saturday night between Speaker Kevin McCarthy and President Joe Biden is an historic first step toward shifting government back toward common sense and conservatism. It is a step toward creating a smaller government, lower taxes, less regulation, economic growth, prosperity, and more take home pay. All of this will also strengthen Social Security and Medicare. I emphasize it’s a first step because that is what I lived through in 1995 in our first year as a Republican House majority (the first in 40 years). Step by step, we got budget changes, moved from welfare to work, cut taxes, and reduced bureaucratic regulatory overkill.

What some mainstream conservatives and pundits aren’t considering, given our bleak 2024 electoral landscape (unresolved DNC-sponsored mass mail-in voting; an open border with millions of people streaming across it; an administrative state and media complex actively colluding and working against the people) is that Trump’s era was, and probably is, the last time flyover country will ever see executive representation in Washington again. Looking ahead to 2024, we should ask, Have the voters in that overlooked region—so breezily dismissed time and time again—changed in any marked way? Are they ready to move on? If anything, they’ve become even more alienated and disgusted by the Washington establishment than they were in 2016.

On Thursday, the high court issued an opinion that narrowed the EPA's broad definition of Waters of the United States (WOTUS). The court said the federal government must define WOTUS as a water source with a "continuous surface connection" to major bodies of water. The decision upended an attempt by the Biden administration to regulate wetlands, lakes, ponds, streams and other "relatively permanent" waterways, which had relied on a broad reading of the EPA's authority

One of the most maddening things about modern culture is the whole issue of pronouns. At the very least, it’s annoying that some people trumpet their pronouns, choosing to base their identity on how people address them when talking about them behind their backs. But it’s even worse the way some people freak out over people using the wrong pronouns as if other people have nothing better to do than keep up with what everybody’s pronouns are at any given moment. Prounoun obsession is the ultimate form of narcissism; it’s entirely self-focused to think that everyone should bend to the whim of what you want to call yourself.

The idea that polluters should pay reparations for climate change is gaining steam among advocates. Some environmentalists and academics argue the companies or states that are most significantly contributing to the climate crisis should be made to compensate the people bearing the brunt of its impacts. Advocates have been calling for such reparations for years, especially since evidence emerged that fossil fuel companies were aware of the impact of carbon emissions. But the idea is now more practically achievable due to scientific advances, said Adrien Salazar, policy director at the nonprofit Grassroots Global Justice. He pointed to the increased sophistication
