#5. 30 years ago I lived and worked around 13th and Walnut Streets and I can assure you gayBORhood is just fine as a take off on neighBORhood because some of the better bars and nightclubs in the area are lesbian. The male gays were generally nice people, the women were nasty bulls.

Yeah #6. Seems like all this “pride” stuff Is showing a lack of genuine pride in being a homosexual. If you have to bully and berate corporations and individuals into celebrating your “pride” then just maybe you are secretly ashamed of your life style. ,

We did this to ourselves. Once "gay marriage" became accepted, we should have known that it wouldn't stop there. I have several homosexual friends, some of whom are "married." They are disgusted with what this movement has become. This was not their intention.

#9, I attended Philadelphia College of Art (now renamed) 1971-75 and lived for a couple of years on the corner of Spruce and 15th. It was the time when all of the homosexuals were beginning to come out of the closet. There was a gay bar on Spruce called The Allegro and we used to watch the parade of freaks coming and going from a balcony in our building. It was the first time I ever saw a guy in wedding dress. Last Thursday, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson held an event with law enforcement personnel and other “community leaders” to unveil his Memorial Day weekend “safety plan.” Holiday weekends in Chicago are notoriously violent, so Johnson’s attempt to curb it constituted his first “big test” as mayor. The consistent and senseless violence on holiday weekends is also why it was disappointing to hear so little substance during the event. Johnson briefly discussed how the Office of Emergency Management and Communications would “monitor citywide events and weather conditions” and all relevant agencies would coordinate with one another. He said that NATO would also "put an additional battalion of reserve forces on high readiness so they can also be deployed if needed. These are prudent steps.” A battalion typically ranges from 300

The idea that polluters should pay reparations for climate change is gaining steam among advocates. Some environmentalists and academics argue the companies or states that are most significantly contributing to the climate crisis should be made to compensate the people bearing the brunt of its impacts. Advocates have been calling for such reparations for years, especially since evidence emerged that fossil fuel companies were aware of the impact of carbon emissions. But the idea is now more practically achievable due to scientific advances, said Adrien Salazar, policy director at the nonprofit Grassroots Global Justice. He pointed to the increased sophistication
