Trump blasts his former press secretary
Kayleigh McEnany as 'milktoast' after
appearance on Fox News and claims she
'deliberately reduced his poll numbers
knowing them to be incorrect'

Former President Donald Trump turned on his ex press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, criticizing her on his Truth Social platform Tuesday night, accusing her of sharing inaccurate poll numbers during an appearance on Fox News. 'Kayleigh 'Milktoast' McEnany just gave out the wrong poll numbers on Fox News. I am 34 points up on DeSanctimonious, not 25 up,' he wrote, using his nickname for Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis while misspelling the term 'milquetoast.' 'While 25 is great, it's not 34. She knew the number was corrected upwards by the group that did the poll. The RINOS & Globalists can have her. FoxNews should only use REAL Stars!!!'

Trump's immaturity is really wearing thin. For a person who voted for him twice and planned to vote for him a third time I'm beginning to waiver. He better be careful because he's reminding everyone of the issues that people had with him in the past. This is not the way to win hearts and minds

Trump doesn’t seem to realize he needs more votes to win, not fewer. If he expects the polls to always stay the same, he had better re-think that. I guess the only Trumpers approve of what he said?

I only wonder why Pres. Trump hasn’t responded to Kayleigh McEnany before now. She has been criticizing him in underhanded, passive-aggressive style publically for months now. That’s how you thrive at Fox after all, and she appears to be thriving. Seems to me if someone owes much of their success to Pres. Trump, as she certainly does, she owes him some loyalty. Those rules clearly went out the window some time ago. The fact of the matter is that, contrary to the expectations of DeSantis World and apparently its press secretaries at Fox, Pres. Trump’s poll numbers got the bump after DeSantis’ announcement, not DeSantis. They are trying to play that down bigtime. Hence, in my evaluation and probably Trump’s, the rationale for Kayleigh’s little “assist."

This is the Trump that is hard to support. Kayleigh McEnany is exceptionally bright, poised, well-spoken and lovely. He's absolutely chafing with the competition of the primary. IF he's the same winner he was in 2016, he should welcome the competition and prove that he's deserving of the Republican nomination. Temper tantrums and name calling are NOT effective this round. Kayleigh was an excellent press secretary and defended him with a degree of sharpness yet unmatched. She even displaced Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who is another wonderfully strong woman. I don't know what happened with Jenna Ellis. She defended him mightily and tirelessly in the election mishaps and there's scorched earth between them now. President Trump needs to remember 'enemy identification'. It's the Democrats and he needs to prove himself as being up to the fight and a team builder with his supporters. This is NOT the way to do it!

Of all the ludicrous attacks against Donald Trump, the assertion of being “thin skinned” is high on the 7 to 8 years long, & growing, list. That skin of his has endured sustained & relentless piercings of every type, tool & source during that time. Including questionable subtleties such as this in the discussion of Trump’s poll numbers. It’s still an amazement that people who have absolutely no problem with any kind of attack against Trump, climb upon their high sense of self righteous superiority to hurl accusations and innuendos , while acting as though he should just shut up and silently take whatever comes his way, & chastising him for defending himself against them when he sees through what’s happening. Past loyalties obviously don’t count with some former Trump people, so why should they count with Trump? A pat on the back with a dagger in the hand is likely to get a harsh reaction. It’s certainly no way to encourage “team building” with Trump. He has already been that route during his first term as POTUS, suffered the consequences & been roundly criticized for it by some here. People who are now saying he should shut up & embrace those who have obviously chosen to work on another team. Kind of hard to build a team with folks who align themselves with people who have spent years trying to destroy you. Trump shouldn’t have to be the one who does all of the reaching out. He did a tremendous amount of reaching out to many of them, when he helped them in the first place. He isn’t the one who changed. At this point most of us recognize that “if you’re not for me, you’re against me.” Trump certainly does.

When Martin Luther King, Jr. called for emphasizing the “content of our character” over “the color of our skin,” the subtext was “stop judging people as a faceless collective on the basis of their superficial appearance and instead look to them as individuals with unique characters.” It is tragic that King’s plea for an integrated, assimilated society, in which race became incidental, not essential to our personas, has mostly been abandoned by the Left in favor of racial stereotyping, collective guilting, and scapegoating by race and gender. Indeed, many of the old Confederate pathologies—fixation on racial essence, obsession with genealogy, nullification of federal laws, states’ rights, and

The aircraft was on its way to Long Island, New York, but once it reached its destination, it turned around and headed back to Washington DC, flight paths show.
