Just When You Thought the Water Crisis

We already know how dire the water situation has become in Jackson, Miss. The city’s lack of attention to the water infrastructure, thanks in part to the far-left focus of leadership, has let the city’s residents down, leaving many citizens without clean drinking water. As PJ Media’s own Rick Moran reported back in September, the mayor was too busy chasing radical dreams to actually help his city. Referring to Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba, Rick wrote, “in his attempt to lift the people up, he forgot about the rest of it — the dull, mundane, everyday ordinary business of government. The city is mired in a water crisis

Comments:

Jackson is 82% black. They voted a human rights attorney / activist as their mayor. This is the result of that decision when you elect someone with a big mouth but little common sense!!

Like the Flint water crisis. It was years of local government neglect and mismanagement that has led to this problem. As a "minority " run city, everyone is afraid to point out the mismanagement and neglect for fear of being called a racist.

They may have to put their far leftist political agenda to the side for awhile and hire some supposed or suspected “White Supremacists” to roll into town and legitimately and permanently fix their water supply system. These days that’s a very hard thing for far leftist politicians to do.

Only in America can you have a guy with a name like Chokwe Antar Lumumba get a law degree, become a mayor and then pursue leftist policies which are killing the country that gave you every advantage. What an idiot! Call Ron DeSantis, he will help you fix the problem in a couple of days.

Chokwe Antar's claim to fame is to oppose everything the Republican governor Tate Reeves says or does. As a result, very little help has been forthcoming from the State House through the years. It takes people with technical skills and know-how to run a Water Department...even if their skin might be White. Political appointees and friends of the Mayor, co-incidentally always of the Black persuasion, in positions of management and hiring, have brought about lack of maintenance as well as incompetence in the billing department. In a word....Fail!

They should do what countries in Africa do when they want clean water. Ask White churches to come in and dig wells. Problem solved. With all the advantages we have in America and these people can't or won't run a city or town efficiently, you don't have to ask why Africa is such a hell-hole. And I don't care if that's racist, it's the truth.

Lumumba could be Eric Adams' brother, all cocktail parties and no useful contribution to city government. Electing your pets to positions of authority never works out. #12, the people of Capetown South Africa have NO water for many hours a day and the level of the lake keeps dropping. They would love to have water with a little silt in it.

A mother has filed a lawsuit against an Ohio school district after the school nurse’s aide allegedly strip-searched her 8th-grade daughter. The mother filed a federal lawsuit against the Willoughby-Eastlake Schools Board of Education and three Eastlake School Middle School employees on December 28. The incident allegedly took place on September 27, when the Eastlake Middle student was asked by another student to put a vape pen in her gym locker. The lawsuit says that the student “begrudgingly agreed.” ABC News reports, “Just before lunch the same day, the school’s principal Colleen Blaurock pulled the eighth grader out of class and questioned her about the vape pen, according to the lawsuit.”

According to truck lobbying groups, the new law will prohibit about 10 percent of the commercial motor vehicles that are operating in the state. “The rule applies to diesel vehicles that weigh at least 14,000 pounds. The air resources board said there are an estimated 200,000 vehicles that have yet to comply with the rule just days before the new year, including roughly 70,000 big rig trucks,

It’s the smoking gun they’ve lusted for, and now they came into possession of these documents after a lengthy legal battle between Trump’s lawyers and House Democrats. The Supreme Court failed to intervene after multiple lower courts had ruled against the former president regarding keeping these files under seal. Spencer wrote about it first—and it was a nothing burger. It might have been an even bigger dud than the Russian collusion hoax. Communism comes disguised as virtue. Rarely does a despot announce, “I’m here to control every aspect of every life I chose not to murder,” though Schwab is pretty upfront about his planned fascism. Why did Republicans underperform during the 2022 mid-terms? That question has become a near-constant point of contention on the right. Was it a candidate quality issue? I’d argue that was certainly the case in several high-profile races, but that’s obviously not the only thing that plagued the GOP. There was also a lack of coherent messaging from leadership, and in many important races, Democrats were simply able to outspend their opponents by large margins. The RNC’s inability to harvest votes and bank early votes didn’t help either. Donald Trump is looking elsewhere for an explanation, though. In an eyebrow-raising rant on Sunday, he appeared to blame pro-lifers for GOP woes.
