President Joe Biden plans to appear with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) in Kentucky on Wednesday, to promote infrastructure. The president will use his appearance with McConnell to signal bipartisanship with establishment Republicans even as they take control of the House of Representatives. Biden and McConnell are expected to celebrate the massive $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill passed in 2021, which McConnell and establishment Republicans worked with Democrats and the White House to get passed.

Mitch "MultiUseless" McConnell has graduated into a piranha. MultiUseless cherishes the thought of feet kissing the Demented Fuhrer. MultiUseless knows that there are plenty of RINO'S and gives them encouragement. The Demented Fuhrer laughs with MultiUseless knowing that another day of "victory" is most likely to happen.

It would be fitting if every patriot in Kentucky showed up to show their feelings about this infrastructure fiasco. Nothing rowdy, just some good old airing of grievances. California’s SB 1327 went into effect on January 1, 2023, allowing private residents in the state to file suits against gun manufacturers who violate the state’s “assault weapons” ban or ban on gun sales to anyone under 21. The Los Angeles Times reported that supporters of the new law view the lawsuit option as a way of “enlisting an army of grass-roots enforcers” to safeguard the state’s “assault weapons” ban and minimum age requirement. SB 1327 was passed in reaction to the Texas heartbeat law, which allows abortionists to be sued for terminating pregnancies beyond six weeks of pregnancy.

Democrats claimed the Inflation Reduction Act would help ordinary Americans, but new analysis suggests people making less than $400,000 a year could end up paying $20 billion of the new tax revenue it brings in. President Joe Biden signed the act into law in August, injecting $473 billion of new spending on climate and healthcare, yet there are strong concerns it will do little to reduce inflation. In fact, middle class Americans will pay new taxes - directly contradicting Biden's promise to not raise penalties on people earning under $400,000.  Republicans continue to criticize the bill, claiming it will lead to taxes on ordinary Americans and do little to help reduce soaring costs.

"Two of the break-ins were at Tacoma Public Utilities substations and two others were at a Puget Sound Energy station, according to the sheriff's office in Pierce County, which encompasses Tacoma. No arrests have been announced."

The situation in Buffalo, NY, continues to break down. Power has been out for days as thousands of people remain snowed in as a result of a so-called “bomb cyclone” that brought freezing temperatures and precipitation. Buffalo was hit especially hard compared to other regions in the Northeast due to the effect of bordering Lake Erie. Not everyone remains snowed in, though. Around 2011 DHS created their own intrusion detection system called the ALBERT Sensor. It’s part of the larger Einstein System that protects federal agencies from cyber risks. ALBERT is a “black box” server installed on a County’s network. It collects the traffic flowing on their election network and transmits this data to a nonprofit in NY. Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) will become the longest serving party leader in Senate history on Tuesday. McConnell, 80, will remain the Republican minority leader in the 118th Congress and thus eclipse the late Sen. Mike Mansfield’s time as Democrat leader from 1961 to 1977. McConnell overcame ten Republican “no” votes in November to remain minority leader. The votes against McConnell marked the first time McConnell had received a “no” vote as leader, a sign the GOP has begun to turn against his establishment agenda. “I don’t own this job,” McConnell claimed after the vote. “Anybody who wants to run for it can feel free to do so.”
