Why Congress Can’t Refuse to Seat Santos

Original Article

Posted By: Garnet, 1/2/2023 12:40:28 AM

The Democrats and the Fourth Estate have finally found, in congressman-elect George Santos (R-N.Y.), a Republican who is genuinely guilty of lying to the voters. Having thus discovered themselves — for once — in possession of the moral high ground, they have made the welkin ring with cries of outrage and calls for his resignation. However, if he ignores those calls, it may be difficult to stop him from being seated in the House and even harder to expel him once he takes office.

I don't see it to be a big deal. Democrats have been doing this for YEARS. Once the democrats come clean and stop lying then I would say we can do the same. Bottomline, we have to do as the Romans (democrats) do. There's nothing here, let's move on.

BOTH sides lie. They are politicians; that's what they do. The difference is that the media can be counted on to smooth over the Dems' lies while they will indignantly demand that Pubbie fabricators fess up and step down immediately. Oh. And there's one other thing: The Pubbies will almost always cave, while the Dems never will.

He got elected as a Republican in a heavily democrat district because he said he was a homosexual. Nothing else mattered to the people who voted for him.. They thought he was Stunning! and Brave! and Stunning and Brave! They got what they wanted, now let them keep him. It's hilarious to me that, for decades, congressmen have been lying about NOT being homosexuals. Saul Alinsky's fourth rule for radicals is, "Make your opponent live up to their own set of rules." For dems, this is the least affective rule because they're such opportune liars. In fact, demanding Santos's resignation makes the rest of us remember Warren, Blumenthal, both Clintons, Anthony Weiner, Biden, Ted Kennedy, Omar, and many more. IMO, Santos is fighting fire with fire. Let his voters decide in November 2024.

Nothing should continue to function until things get under control. Every critter and their staff should be concerned about their futures. There’s a nationwide shortage of Tylenol and other common pain medications. Meanwhile, there’s plenty of Fentanyl coming in through America’s porous southern border for anyone who wants to get high — or dead.CBS News reported Thursday on our “national shortage” of children’s Tylenol and other medicines have “retailers like CVS, Target and Walgreens” placing strict limits on how much medicine people can buy. Even though companies like Johnson & Johnson are producing new meds “around the clock,” shortages could nevertheless last “into early next year.” One reason for the shortages is a spike in demand caused by the annual flu season, COVID-19, and unusually high RSV and

Of the several unwelcome revelations in the past six years, the most politically significant is that liberalism as a political philosophy is dead. Oh, there may still be some individuals who identify with it, but for the most part they are old, retired, or cowed into silence by the howling mobs of progressives, the “woke,” and the identitarian left. And how do we know this? We know it by the collapse of colleges and universities as places of open debate and inquiry. For the past two years, the corporate media have earnestly assured us that, for the first time in history, we were blessed with an immaculate election in 2020. It was, we are told, unsullied by unsavory practices once thought endemic to politics. Unaccountably, however, many voters remain uncomfortable with certain curious aspects of that election.
