In the final days of a Republican controlled Pennsylvania House, the Judiciary Committee voted along party lines Tuesday to move two impeachment articles against Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner to the full House, which is expected to vote on it Wednesday.
The articles blame Krasner’s leadership in the district attorney’s office (DAO) as being a direct cause of increasing Philadelphia crime and accuse him of obstructing the impeachment investigation by not sufficiently complying with a subpoena from the Select Committee on Restoring Law and Order.

Bali, Indonesia - Polish President Andrzej Duda said the missile that killed two people in eastern Poland on Tuesday was likely fired by Ukrainian forces defending against a wave of Russian missile strikes, and that the incident appeared to be an accident.
"There is no indication that this was an intentional attack on Poland. Most likely, it was a Russian-made S-300 rocket," Duda said in a tweet Wednesday. Fox Business’ Charles Payne tore into FTX billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried’s connections to Democrats on “America’s Newsroom” Tuesday.
Fried was reportedly the second biggest donor to Democratic candidates and spent millions on Democratic candidates in the midterm elections before the money was even there. He said on the “What’s Your Problem” podcast in May that he considered giving $1 billion to Democrats.
Former first daughter Ivanka Trump said late Tuesday that she would play no part in her father’s 2024 presidential campaign, one day after The Post reported the former commander-in-chief had pleaded with her to be on stage with him when he announced his run.
“I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics,” Ivanka, 41, said in a statement.
“While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena,” she added.
A recent online magazine article proposed a controversial idea: Those government and private officials who might have made serious errors during the COVID-19 pandemic should be granted “amnesty” for their mistakes. Will it fly? As the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows, the answer is “not likely.”

Kevin Kiley (R-CA), former President Donald Trump’s choice in California’s third congressional district, defeated his Democrat opponent on Tuesday, securing the House majority for the Republican Party, according to a Decision Desk HQ projection one week after Election Day.
The race was called for Kiley after the GOP secured victories in five key House districts in California and Arizona on Monday night. (Tweet) During his campaign, Kiley called on a potential Republican-controlled House to return to Trump’s policies.
