Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) announced Thursday that she would retire from House leadership. She has earned a spot in history for breaking barriers, succeeding in what was formerly a man’s world, and advancing a left-wing agenda more effectively than nearly any individual in American politics.
But the Breitbart Business Digest believes Pelosi’s career ought to be defined in a different way: She is the most infamous—and one of the most successful—stock traders of all time. Her personal wealth has soared to nine figures and beyond since the financial collapse of 2008. This is largely attributed to stock trades made by her husband, Paul;

President Joe Biden’s top economic advisor, Brian Deese, is anticipated to depart from the administration by next summer after Biden expressed frustration with Deese’s failure to predict the long-term impact of inflation, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing anonymous sources.
Deese, director of the National Economic Council, is anticipated to leave at around the same time as Cecilia Rouse, the first African-American chair of the Council of Economic Advisers, who is expected to conclude her two-year public service leave from Princeton University in early 2023, according to Bloomberg.

On track to be the longest-serving leader in Senate history, newly reelected Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell now faces the daunting task of deciding what’s next on the agenda.
Speaking on Fox News’s “The Ingraham Angle” late Wednesday, eponymous host Laura Ingraham offered a few tips on which direction he should tread.
“Republicans want results and they also want inspiring leadership — a blueprint for the future that is clearly articulated and reflective of the views of a majority of Republican voters. And we’re also looking for fighters who fight as hard as the left, always united against the opposition’s agenda,” she said.
With that said, she continued,

The impending bloodbath at far-left CNN is destroying the fake news outlet’s morale, a 20-year staffer said.
This revelation occurred during a recent company meeting where CNN chief Chris Licht confirmed that layoffs are coming in early December.
“There is widespread concern over the global economic outlook, and we must factor that risk into our long-term planning,” Licht reportedly said. “All this together will mean a noticeable change to this organization. That, by definition, is unsettling. These changes will not be easy because they will affect people, budgets, and projects.

California is projected to have a deficit after holding onto a budget surplus for the past several years.
The state is expected to have a $25 billion deficit in the next fiscal year, according to the state legislature’s nonpartisan fiscal experts.
The Legislative Analyst’s Office released its report on Wednesday, emphasizing the upcoming $25 billion deficit, which they say is mostly due to “lower revenue estimates.”
The state’s last budget was $308 billion with a $97 billion surplus, and the year prior to that, the budget was $263 billion with a $76 billion surplus.

Nancy Pelosi, who announced she would not continue as the Democratic Party’s leader in the House of Representatives, has been a great legislator. You’d have to be to last for 19 years at the top of the Democratic legislative greasy pole.
That doesn’t mean she has been a great font of ideas, a great visionary, or a great leader of the American people. She has been none of those things.
Her own contributions to this country on matters of policy, rather than shepherding or opposing bills in the House, have been negligible. She was impotent when it came to dealing with an anti-Semitic outbreak in her caucus in 2019, for example.

Two groups linked to failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and liberal billionaire George Soros are behind a massive pressure campaign aimed at sinking Twitter and destroying its advertising revenue after Elon Musk took control of the platform.

Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) appears to be the front-runner to replace Rep. Nancy Pelosi (R-CA) as House Democrat leader, even though he is an election denier.
As a lawyer from central Brooklyn, Jeffries is a self-described far-left Democrat who appears to be angling behind the scenes to win the Democrat House leadership position. He first assumed office in 2013 and has served as the chair of the House Democrat Caucus since 2019.
Jeffries’ presumable succession is notable because Democrats and the establishment have continually labeled some Republican politicians as election deniers. The same standard does not appear to be applied to Jeffries.

"We are deeply concerned" about the threat posed by increasingly sophisticated drones, or unmanned aerial systems, FBI Director Christopher Wray and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told the Senate Homeland Security Committee on Thursday.
"As the threat continues to grow," Wray said, "we are investigating, even as we speak, several incidences within the U.S. of attempts to weaponize -- to weaponize -- drones with homemade IEDs. That is the future that is here now."
