On track to be the longest-serving leader in Senate history, newly reelected Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell now faces the daunting task of deciding what’s next on the agenda.
Speaking on Fox News’s “The Ingraham Angle” late Wednesday, eponymous host Laura Ingraham offered a few tips on which direction he should tread.
“Republicans want results and they also want inspiring leadership — a blueprint for the future that is clearly articulated and reflective of the views of a majority of Republican voters. And we’re also looking for fighters who fight as hard as the left, always united against the opposition’s agenda,” she said.
With that said, she continued,

The impending bloodbath at far-left CNN is destroying the fake news outlet’s morale, a 20-year staffer said.
This revelation occurred during a recent company meeting where CNN chief Chris Licht confirmed that layoffs are coming in early December.
“There is widespread concern over the global economic outlook, and we must factor that risk into our long-term planning,” Licht reportedly said. “All this together will mean a noticeable change to this organization. That, by definition, is unsettling. These changes will not be easy because they will affect people, budgets, and projects.

California is projected to have a deficit after holding onto a budget surplus for the past several years.
The state is expected to have a $25 billion deficit in the next fiscal year, according to the state legislature’s nonpartisan fiscal experts.
The Legislative Analyst’s Office released its report on Wednesday, emphasizing the upcoming $25 billion deficit, which they say is mostly due to “lower revenue estimates.”
The state’s last budget was $308 billion with a $97 billion surplus, and the year prior to that, the budget was $263 billion with a $76 billion surplus.

Nancy Pelosi, who announced she would not continue as the Democratic Party’s leader in the House of Representatives, has been a great legislator. You’d have to be to last for 19 years at the top of the Democratic legislative greasy pole.
That doesn’t mean she has been a great font of ideas, a great visionary, or a great leader of the American people. She has been none of those things.
Her own contributions to this country on matters of policy, rather than shepherding or opposing bills in the House, have been negligible. She was impotent when it came to dealing with an anti-Semitic outbreak in her caucus in 2019, for example.

Two groups linked to failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and liberal billionaire George Soros are behind a massive pressure campaign aimed at sinking Twitter and destroying its advertising revenue after Elon Musk took control of the platform.
Hillary Clinton (left) and George Soros (right) Leftist groups like Accountable Tech — a group tied closely to a Clinton nonprofit Onward Together — and UltraViolet, connected to Soros, fired off an undated letter to advertisers on Twitter, telling them that the platform is a danger to the world with Musk at the helm. “Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter will further toxify

Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) appears to be the front-runner to replace Rep. Nancy Pelosi (R-CA) as House Democrat leader, even though he is an election denier.
As a lawyer from central Brooklyn, Jeffries is a self-described far-left Democrat who appears to be angling behind the scenes to win the Democrat House leadership position. He first assumed office in 2013 and has served as the chair of the House Democrat Caucus since 2019.
Jeffries’ presumable succession is notable because Democrats and the establishment have continually labeled some Republican politicians as election deniers. The same standard does not appear to be applied to Jeffries.

President Joe Biden praised House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday after she announced her decision to exit Democrat leadership.
“When I think of Nancy Pelosi, I think of dignity,” he wrote in a more than 500-word statement released by the White House. “History will note she is the most consequential Speaker of the House of Representatives in our history.”
Pelosi announced her decision to step down from a leadership role while continuing to serve in Congress.

"We are deeply concerned" about the threat posed by increasingly sophisticated drones, or unmanned aerial systems, FBI Director Christopher Wray and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told the Senate Homeland Security Committee on Thursday.
"As the threat continues to grow," Wray said, "we are investigating, even as we speak, several incidences within the U.S. of attempts to weaponize -- to weaponize -- drones with homemade IEDs. That is the future that is here now."

Rep. Jim Jordan tore into the media and Washington intelligence experts Thursday for accepting the explanation that Hunter Biden’s controversial emails were nothing more than a Russian disinformation plot hatched days before the 2020 presidential election.
Jordan, R-Ohio, and his Republican colleagues announced that partly because of those emails from Biden's abandoned laptop, they have assembled a broad range of evidence showing that Biden and then-Vice President Joe Biden were involved in influence peddling in dozens of countries around the world. Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., said the Bidens got rich by "offering access to the family,"

Indeed, there was a red wave but not the one conservatives had hoped for. It was, however, the continuation of the leftists’, Marxists’, and communists’ eternal obsession to destroy America and obliterate her values—and Ayn Rand predicted it in her 1965 seminal book titled The New Left: The Anti-Industrial Revolution.
Frighteningly prescient, Rand understood the beginnings of the “intellectual disintegration” that is now front and center in most colleges. Fifty-seven years later, the Left is “cashing in” on its quest for ultimate power.
Ground Zero was the “so-called student ‘rebellion’” that started at the University of California, Berkeley, in 1964. Billed as a Free Speech Movement, it was anything but.

The argument around Trump running in 2024 has splintered into several directions since his announcement on Tuesday. There are those who are excited about it and believe the former president can resurrect his appeal to Americans outside his base. Then there are those who don’t have any animus toward him but also believe the cake is baked enough that he can’t win a general election.
Finally, there are those who just hate Trump and want to watch the world burn in an attempt to get rid of him. That’s the category Asa Hutchinson falls into, and he’s already teasing a delusional run for the presidency. (Tweet)

Who or what was responsible for the Republican nationwide collapse in the midterms? After all, pundits, politicos, and pollsters all predicted a "red tsunami." Moreover, the average loss of any president in his first midterm is 25 House seats. And when his approval sinks to or below 43% — in the fashion of President Joe Biden — the loss, on average, expands to over 40 seats. Former President Barack Obama in 2010 lost 63 seats. Is Biden, therefore, more charismatic or more energetic CORRECTION*
