Senate Republicans voted Wednesday to elect Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) as their leader over National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman Rick Scott (R-Fla.) who announced his desire to replace McConnell at an acrimonious conference meeting Tuesday. A large majority of GOP senators voted to elect McConnell leader after a motion backed by Sen. "A motion to delay the votes, introduced by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), failed after 16 senators voted for it and 32 voted against it." Cruz tried to delay the vote. Don't know if this was just for show. Don't know which of them can be trusted anymore, if any.

I’m as surprised as most of you are. (That is; not at all) And on the other side of the aisle, Chuck Schumer just announced that he wants to make all illegal aliens citizens as soon as they cross the border. “We need them to replace white americans who aren’t reproducing enough.”... Of course he and his co-conspirators want all Americans who DO reproduce to abort their babies so that there is room for the invaders. And of course Mitch will agree.

You can bet all those elected to posts are establishment. Take note of who was chosen. Sen. John Thune of South Dakota was reelected as minority whip. Sen. John Barrasso of Wyoming was reelected as conference chair. Sen. Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia was elected vice conference chair. Sen. Joni Ernst of Iowa was elected policy chair. Sen. Steve Daines of Montana was elected to replace Scott as chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC).

As Gomer Pyle would say: "Sur-prize ...sur-prize...sur-prize!". Not. It was a "secret" ballot so unless the individual Senators identify themselves we won't know who gets it and who doesn't. Nothing to see here ... so c'mon ... c'mon ... keep it moving! Our party --- but sadly and more importantly, our country --- is doomed. RIP America.

This is disappoint8mg but not surprising. I want to believe there is a path to defeat these horrible creatures who lie to our faces and betray us at every turn. It’s getting harder to hold on to any hope that there can be meaningful change to this corrupt political system. I put nothing past them and pray that President Trump has some of the best security in the world. Mitch McConnell is a traitor to the office he holds and will do whatever benefits himself most. The arrogant old fool actually believes he has won a great victory. He won nothing. Those Senators who voted for him are as corrupt as he is. McConnell has been busy building his little empire and increasing his ill gotten gains by betraying his own party for decades. However, one day and it’s probably going to be sooner than later he is going to face the Righteous Judge of the Universe and all his wheeling, dealing and backstabbing will not count for a thing. Then he will realize just how small and meaningless he is. All his money grubbing and grasping for riches, power and wealth will not save him then. He is an evil old man.

FTA: Two outside groups affiliated with McConnell, the Senate Leadership Fund and One Nation, spent $363 million on Senate races, according to a person familiar with their fundraising record, significantly more than what Scott raised as head of Senate Republicans’ campaign arm. There’s why Mitch is leader. He pulled millions out of Wisconsin. Ron Johnson nominated him. See how that works? Watch the added payback for the opposition. Remember that nice office view? Convenient parking?

Faced with questions about his ability to lead after the midterm election debacle, a defiant Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell deflected blame from his own culpability in the Democrats retaining control of the upper chamber and instead blamed it on public dissatisfaction with MAGA candidates. The embattled McConnell spoke to reporters on Tuesday, defending his dismal performance and the refusal to adequately fund candidates who were endorsed by former and perhaps future President Donald J. Trump such as Blake Masters in Arizona, instead spending money to support RINO Lisa Murkowski in Alaska against her America first opponent, also a Republican.

Sen. 'We're short of workers, we have a population that is not reproducing on its own with the same level that it used to,' the New York Democrat reasoned. 'The only way we're going to have a great future is if we welcome and embrace immigrants… get a path to citizenship for all 11 million or however many there are here.'
