Top Democrat Chuck Schumer says we should
welcome more migrants because the population
is 'not reproducing on its own' - and

Sen. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer made a fresh pitch for amnesty Wednesday when he claimed the U.S. is 'short of workers' so Congress needs to pass a 'path to citizenship' for 'however many undocumented there are here'. 'We're short of workers, we have a population that is not reproducing on its own with the same level that it used to,' the New York Democrat reasoned. 'The only way we're going to have a great future is if we welcome and embrace immigrants… get a path to citizenship for all 11 million or however many there are here.'

Even if we were short of workers, how would bringing in 11 million,(really more like 40 million) welfare recipients help the situation?

Let’s see if the wimpy establishment Republicans fall for this leftist Democrat scam to create eleven to twenty million new future leftist Democrat supporters and voters. You can bet your boots that Schumer and the power hungry Democrats would not be proposing such a massive amnesty for tens of millions of illegal aliens when all is said and done, if they ever thought that more then a small percentage of those would be amnesty recipients would ever become conservative Republican supporters and voters.

Make up your mind Chuck. We were told the Population Bomb was going to do us in. So responsible Americans limited the number of children they had, used birth control, married later, and did what we were told we had to do to save the world. High taxes kept many from having children (Think you can do much for your child with the dependent deduction?) Now we need to replace our responsible selves with poor, illiterate people who share nothing with us. Make up your mind Chuck.

Shut up Chuck. The global elitist's are working on cutting back on the population which is now 8 billion world-wide. We can't handle what we have here. Until we do we need to be very selective about who will let immigrate to this country. He is OK with his NY Wall Street buddies and the like. These guys in congress don't ever have to worry about money. The rest of us do and we don't want to be taking on any more responsibilities.

As detestable as Schumer is, contrast his post-election messaging with Mitch McConnell's. Schumer goes full bore on the radical agenda Democrats want while McConnell says he wants to meet the opposition in the middle of the field. The Senate Republicans have no agenda, got their clocks cleaned in the election and still vote to keep the useless McConnell in charge.

Interesting because they're already here, most working too, just like many other immigrants who've come to this country. President Trump almost had a deal to reform the immigration system, but the Democrats decided they wanted the issue instead of the solution. Now, they see so many are being sexually abused along the more dangerous route, and it costing so much more, they need to find a way to "do something" that will make it look like they suddenly care. Amnesty offers something in the hope they will vote for them. So, Republicans should offer the same terms President Trump offered, but every one starts at the back of the current list of those waiting to be processed to become citizens. It's not amnesty, and they'd all get through the line in due course, but I'll bet the Democrats would reject it since it doesn't convey something which will be linked to new voters.

The double-standard is atrocious. The Big Three (ABC, CBS, NBC) evening newscasts have almost completely buried Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock’s child support scandal, spending only 11 seconds on it since September 1. In stark contrast, the network evening newscasts (September 1 - November 16) flooded their airwaves (36 minutes, 21 seconds) with stories of women accusing his GOP opponent Herschel Walker of paying for abortions. That’s almost 200 times more coverage to the Walker story than the Warnock scandal.

Gun sales more than doubled in Oregon with Ballot Measure 114 (BM 114) pending, and Oregon State Police are struggling to keep up with the demand for background checks. KDRV reports that BM 114 passed by a margin of 50.9 percent to 49.1 percent, and will take effect December 8, 2022. In the weeks leading up to the November 8 elections, Breitbart News pointed to a Bearing Arms report that BM 114 was being bankrolled by out-of-state money. The measure requires a permit, which costs $65, to purchase a gun. It also bans “high capacity” magazines and requires law enforcement to maintain a database of gun permit applicants, among other things.

Nancy Pelosi, who announced she would not continue as the Democratic Party’s leader in the House of Representatives, has been a great legislator. You’d have to be to last for 19 years at the top of the Democratic legislative greasy pole. That doesn’t mean she has been a great font of ideas, a great visionary, or a great leader of the American people. She has been none of those things. Her own contributions to this country on matters of policy, rather than shepherding or opposing bills in the House, have been negligible. She was impotent when it came to dealing with an anti-Semitic outbreak in her caucus in 2019, for example.
