On Wednesday, Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis sent two planes carrying illegal immigrants to the island of Martha’s Vineyard, an exclusive elite liberal community that prides itself on its tolerance and sanctuary status. (snip)
HAPPENING NOW: Migrants, flown into Martha’s Vineyard by Fl’s governor, are boarding buses. They’ll be heading to Joint Base Cape Cod, according to officials. 125 Mass National Guard members are being activated to assist. @NBCNews

Wait a minute.... the Mass. National Guard escorted them off the island? That means the Governor of Taxachusetts ordered them to do it! I guess that means that Greg Abbott can call up tge National Guard in Texas to here all the illegals back into Mexico. Get to it, Gov. Abbott.

They can really move quickly when their ox is being gored but tell them to fix the border and they're absent for decades. Calling them hypocrites isn't enough. Obi Ron should do this every time any illegal is caught here. They are, after all, here illegally.

The Joint Base Cape Cod is a state-designated joint base created by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States War Department in 1935. Wikipedia
Buzzards Bay, MA 02542
Size: 22,000 acres
Now our shrinking military can house, feed and care for these illegals until they can be released into our society. With 22,000 acres, the base can hold thousands more, again with US military members caring for their needs. Will be similar to the 150,000 unvetted Afghans sent to Wisconsin and other gullible states.

That is so disappointing. We all expected the good residents and property owners of Martha’s Vineyard to welcome these unfortunate newcomers into their homes with open arms.

Excuse 2nd post. Fort Hood in central Texas has 220,000 acres, so Gov Abbott should start busing the hundreds of thousand invaders there. The US Army units could be assigned to tents while the illegals move into reasonably decent barracks. Soldiers would prepare meals based on country of origin, the adults could use the officer and NCO clubs and the children could attend schools on base. As Joe Biden proclaims, “They’re a gift”, so let’s treat like such.

Someone needs to invent a new word to describe the contemptible snots that reside on this island.
Hypocrites doesn’t quite cover it.

Wait! Were the great unwashed given an opportunity to choose to be relocated? How is this not kidnapping to a government facility according to Ken Burn's holocaust? Now I'm getting almost as confused and morally disoriented as a zombie dem.

From what I understand, they ask if the people who are being bussed, or flown, if they want to go to X destination, and they agree.
Now, they are simply being rounded up, like some sort of criminal, and taken to a military installation?
My presumption, that is precisely what they fled their country from, but are now being subjected to by Progressive Democrats.

They were supposedly given a choice on whether or not to leave but if you believe that, I have a lovely island in Massachusetts to sell you at an incredible price.
“Around fifty” illegals arrived there on Wednesday and now the news is reporting that “around fifty” left the island today. Any questions?

They’re leaving Martha’s Vineyard by bus? That’s a solution.
