According to The Boston Globe, officials in Martha’s Vineyard are holding an emergency meeting to deal with the crisis of 43 illegal alien arrivals, including one four-year-old child. The group arrived via a chartered flight dispatched by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. According to state representative Dylan Fernandes, “when you look at the limited housing options on Martha’s Vineyard, as I’m sure many of the folks here are aware, it’s likely we’re going to need an off island location.”

Now is the time for the Obamas to
show compassion and take in the first wave of illegal immigrants
into their 30 acre Marthas Vineyard estate.

Nah nah nah, jack up your property taxes (exactly what are those rates anyway? What social services do ultra wealthy neighborhoods have to cover for the ‘poor’ among you?). Now build some homeless shelters, some women and children safe spaces, some drug detox centers, and public toilets on every street corner. Let’s get with the progress programs you like us commoners to have.

NIMBY Democrats’ hypocrisy is stunning. They claim sanctuary cities are the solution except when the city in question is theirs. Then it’s Trump’s fault.

FTA: “To use women and children as political pawns is cowardice. Governor DeSantis is a coward,” Fernandes said. “Their communication on this, Governor DeSantis’s on this, was to jump on Fox News and beat his chest about how tough he is on immigration. It’s inhumane. It’s depraved.”
How dare Republicans take a page out of our playbook! Don’t they know we are the only ones allowed to be inhumane and depraved??

They should immediately hire them to work in their homes as Nannie’s, gardeners etc. no security concerns as Biden thoroughly vetted every one of them……he didn’t? Well damn who messed that up? Oh Mayorkas!

Eagle Pass, TX is a small city of 28,000 residents and is less than ten square miles in area, with a population density of 3,000 people per square mile, without the daily migrant surge. Martha's Vineyard, MA has over 8x the area of Eagle Pass and only 17,000 residents, with a population density of around 180 people per square mile. Since democrats are all for forcing increased population densities, Martha's Vineyard needs more people and Eagle Pass needs far fewer. I dare say that the residents of Eagle Pass are not by-and-large elitist hypocrites as are the residents of Martha's Vineyard. Why do democrats think that places like Eagle Pass "deserve" to have their populations doubled to quadrupled on any given week but there's no room at the Inn for a few dozen "migrants." The per capita income figures are orders of magnitude apart between the island and border town. True social justice would mean that every. single. illegal. alien crossing the border at Eagle Pass be sent immediately to democrat states and cities for "processing," feeding, and housing. Just station the busses along the Rio Grand, load, and go northeast and/or northwest. Portland and Seattle long to give respite for the weary travelers, so open the migrant pipeline to the bluest of blue enclaves, and keep 'em coming.

Take these haughty officials for a visit to the border towns that are being inundated with the consequences of the democrats open border policies. Let them understand what their fellow Americans are dealing with on a daily basis. Probably would not make a bit of difference to these soulless ideologues. They have zero compassion for anyone they consider less than themselves.

At this minute, VRBO lists 28 properties that can take ten (10) guests each for 60 days. Prices range from $452 to $6692 per night, although I suspect a humanitarian discount can be had from these feeling people for those in dire needs. C'mon swells, dig deep. It will find these "immigrants" a home and help a neighbor turn a buck on her rental.
