Bill Barr's predecessor slams former AG
for trusting DOJ on Mar-a-Lago raid

Former Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker on Thursday slammed the man who he succeeded, saying former AG Bill Barr's recent embrace of the Justice Department raid on Donald Trump flew in the face of all the wrongdoing he himself exposed in the discredited Russia collusion case. "Bill Barr continues for some reason to be an institutionalist when it comes to the Department of Justice, even though based on what he presided over, he should know better," Whitaker said on the Thursday edition of Just the News, Not Noise.

I so much would like to have Barr in the antiestablishmentarian camp. I cannot imagine what the objection to a special master would be- other than “get Trump.” But maybe I haven’t read enough to know what the valid legal objections are. The only objection i have heard is that the doj has already looked at the docs; but that is akin to saying “what at this point does it matter?” and the law is supposed to correct wrongs, not say que sera sera. The only logical conclusion about Barr based on what i know is that he is supposed to take on the appearance of trying to unwind institutional corruption until that point in time at which something can be done about it and then he is johnny on the spot to block anything from actually being done.

Do you know what would happen to Donald Trump without his millions of supporters? He would be arrested , jailed, and probably epsteined. He knows this. This is why he can never stop running for office. And why I hope he never does. The minute he becomes disposable to his base he will be disposed of by the state. Exactly what will protect him when even the "honest" lawmen sell their souls like Barr has?

There seems to be a lot of people who still believe the Trump-Russia collusion was real. Even after Mueller's expensive investigation with a stadium full of lawyers who hated Trump and still couldn't find anything. And evidence overwhelming that it was a Clinton hoax along with cooperating CIA and FBI officials. Even when any logical thinking person could easily conclude the collusion accusation wasn't real simply because it made no sense. Many Republicans abandoned their seats in the midterm election of the Trump presidency because they actually believed the lie that was planted by the Clinton campaign. And today the RINOs seem to be the remaining strongest true believers in the Russia hoax.

#8, #10: Sorry, but I think you misread the headline. Whitaker was indeed Barr's predecessor, because Whitaker served as acting Attorney General when Sessions fled the coop, and until Barr was duly appointed. Now, Whitaker (Barr's "predecessor") is slamming Barr (who is now a "former AG") for Barr's blind trust of the DOJ's motives in sneaking into Mar-a-Lago on a vague search warrant and seizing and examining everything they could find, including cracking a safe that turned out to be empty, and claiming "national security" excuses them for not acquiescing to the judge's order for the appointment of a special master to review all the crap that was seized, most of which probably doesn't even fit under the search warrant. The English of the headline is awkward, but not wrong or mistaken.

Donald Trump’s flirtation with announcing a 2024 White House bid before the midterm elections is sending signals of self-doubt and political vulnerability, with Republican operatives saying the former president is motivating challenges to his supremacy over the party. Trump would begin any presidential primary with overwhelming advantages in popularity, name identification, and resources. But pulling the trigger on a third White House campaign prior to Election Day this November, as Trump concedes is possible, might boomerang. Rather than box out potential 2024 opponents and clear the field, such a move by the former president could reek of fear, inviting more competition for the Republican nomination.

ATLANTA - Republican Herschel Walker’s $6.2 million in fundraising looked impressive when unveiled Wednesday, until Democrat Raphael Warnock rolled out his $17.2 million total a half-hour later. The dueling Senate campaign numbers underlined two truths. Georgia is again going to be one of the most expensive races to run for office in 2022, and Democrats are building a strong fundraising advantage. Like Warnock, Democrat Stacey Abrams heavily outraised incumbent Republican Brian Kemp in the race for governor, collecting almost $50 million compared to the $31 million Kemp has brought in over a longer period. Abrams and Warnock plan to run closely linked campaigns, echoing many of the same themes.

Dear Steve, You ask why doctors are silent. The electronic medical records (EMRs) are a ball and chain to physicians. We are tracked through them. When I wrote a prescription for Ivermectin for a patient, with informed consent (she was vaccinated), I received 5 letters threatening my medical license, my hospital privileges, and my insurance contracts. I would not have received 5 letters if I killed someone in negligence or malpractice. If I have my license pulled, I will no longer be able to help my patients. I speak to patients on a one-on-one basis, but speaking out would destroy my family.

Merchant category codes are made up of four digits and are used across all sorts of industries as a means to classify retailers, while not revealing individual product purchases. Credit card companies currently lump firearm retailers in with other outlets, classifying them as either “5999: Miscellaneous retail stores” or “5941: Sporting Goods Stores.”

NEW YORK — Payment processor Visa Inc. said Saturday that it plans to start separately categorizing sales at gun shops, a major win for gun control advocates who say it will help better track suspicious surges of gun sales that could be a prelude to a mass shooting. But the decision by Visa, the world’s largest payment processor, will likely provoke the ire of gun rights advocates and gun lobbyists, who have argued that categorizing gun sales would unfairly flag an industry when most sales do not lead to mass shootings. It joins Mastercard and American Express, which also said they plan to move forward with categorizing gun shop sales.

Far from being a unifying figure, Biden chose to drive a knife through the heart of the country, and it didn’t take long for the walk-backs to begin.
