If that serves as "lashing out" then these media fools have yet to see Trump angry. Youngkin and DeSantis are good people but they are relative newbies to life. In 2024 we are going to need a grizzled, battle-hardened general to put the demonic democraps in their place, which is in Hell.

DeSantis might want to run in 2024. But, if Trump is in, he will defer and be a supporter. He has too much to lose to undercut the Trumpster in 2024. Younkin has no chance of getting the nomination!!! Zero, zilch, nada!!! Trump wouldn't waste his breath attacking him at this point. DeSantis is young, very smart, and politically savvy!!! He knows if he tries to run in 2024 against Trump, not only will he lose but he will alienate the entire MAGA voting bloc. They will see him as another backstabber and won't ever support him in the future either. So I fully expect DeSantis to be Trump's biggest cheer leader in 2024. He will do lots of campaigning for Trump, and be very vocal in his support of Trump and his policies. He will then continue to be governor of Florida to build up his conservative credentials and experience. Then, in 2028, he will be the hands-down favorite, with Trump and his supporters giving him their full support and financial donations!!!!!

LOL, really? Youngkin has a lot to prove, so who cares? DeSantis is remarkable, just like Trump. I don't care if they have a fist fight, disagreement or make a joke about each other. We are in the middle of a new totalitarian dark age where the slob criminal Hillary and her weird daughter go on the View to screaming applause and then spew for a half hour to mindless harpies all across the US. For goodness sake, quite worrying about grand political strategies and buckle down for a fight to save your way of life. Avoiding sewer gas from the business insider should be an obvious first step. Believing them, agreeing with that cesspool, makes me doubt your intelligence level or at least your life experience. The propaganda is obvious. One wonders whether FPDT is up to another long campaign to be dealing with DeSantis or Youngkin at this stage of the presidential cycle. If he's expecting a coronation, he may be in for a rude reception. (Of course, the Trumpistas will squawk, calling anyone who's not 110% supportive of a run in '24 a "NeverTrumper" or troll.) At this point both his prospective opponents are lacking name recognition and heavyweight political status. The '22 midterms are about stopping the Biden administration in its tracks and setting the stage for '24. It's not about '20, and really ought not to be about FPDT.

Donald Trump, who said two weeks ago "the temperature has to be brought down" in this country, is raising it to heights that would burst the thermometer. He’s gone on what we would call an angry tweetstorm, if he was still on Twitter, pumping out three dozen postings and repostings on his far smaller Truth Social app. Then Trump drops the hammer: "REMEDY: Declare the rightful winner, or, and this would be the minimal solution, declare the 2020 Election irreparably compromised and have a new Election, immediately!"

Donald Trump’s flirtation with announcing a 2024 White House bid before the midterm elections is sending signals of self-doubt and political vulnerability, with Republican operatives saying the former president is motivating challenges to his supremacy over the party. Trump would begin any presidential primary with overwhelming advantages in popularity, name identification, and resources. But pulling the trigger on a third White House campaign prior to Election Day this November, as Trump concedes is possible, might boomerang. Rather than box out potential 2024 opponents and clear the field, such a move by the former president could reek of fear, inviting more competition for the Republican nomination.

ATLANTA - Republican Herschel Walker’s $6.2 million in fundraising looked impressive when unveiled Wednesday, until Democrat Raphael Warnock rolled out his $17.2 million total a half-hour later. The dueling Senate campaign numbers underlined two truths. Georgia is again going to be one of the most expensive races to run for office in 2022, and Democrats are building a strong fundraising advantage. Like Warnock, Democrat Stacey Abrams heavily outraised incumbent Republican Brian Kemp in the race for governor, collecting almost $50 million compared to the $31 million Kemp has brought in over a longer period. Abrams and Warnock plan to run closely linked campaigns, echoing many of the same themes.
