Taunting Tater: Fired CNN Host Brian Stelter
Gets Hilarious Sendoffs

When it comes to examples of leftwing bias in the mainstream media, there is perhaps no better example than former CNN host Brian Stelter. Most of the clowns on MSNBC don’t pretend to be neutral and will come right out and admit their leftism. The broadcast networks’ talking heads are much more subtle and have therefore become adept at hiding their affiliations with the Democratic Party. And, of course, outlets such as the New York Times and Washington Post have scores of ‘journalists’ who would give Stelter a run for their far-left money, but we’re not forced to see their big heads on TV screens when walking through an airport.

Comments:

Good riddance, Tater.

Maybe I am leading an isolated life in my retirement. But I honestly have never seen Stelter and don’t know what he looks like. Looks like I haven’t missed much.

Maybe if CNN fires the rest of the vegetable patch, they could have a real news organization.

CNN fired Mr. Potato Head so he could stay home to spend more time with his 'tater tots'. Nobody will miss the Tater because no one watched him. Stelter had an audience of none.

I never watched him except for clips on Tucker Carlson or Gutfeld. Judging from what they showed, his show was a target-rich environment. I'm sure some leftist organzation will offer him a landing spot. I'm waiting for Don Lemon and Chris Wallace to be tossed over the side. Particularly Chris. He has to be hanging by a thread since Licht pulled the plug on CNN+.

Greggie Gutfeld is in mourning. The object of his funny jokes is gone! What will he do? Greg might have to go to a 12 Step program to let go of his addiction of making fun of Stelter. hahahaha

The truth is, the man was not fired because he was a biased lefty reporter. He was fired because as such he wasn't bringing in viewers. It's not about bias, it's about cash.

These send-off tweets were epic. I particularly liked the one on which the donut shop was forced to lay off 5 employees (only 5??) I certainly needed the laughs to counter all the bad news being reported. Thanks for posting.

Mr. Potato got mashed from CNN, not even baked, just a plain raw mashing. Couldn't happen to a more deserving Hall Monitor. Will the Lemon be next?

The story of Peloton Interactive, Inc is one that in normal circumstances Americans could be extremely proud of. The company was founded only ten short years ago in New York City, the brainchild of five ambitious and daring young entrepreneurs who were looking to reimagine ways for people to stay physically fit. They were a hybrid of traditional technology and a modern fitness company, and they jumped out to an exceptionally quick start. By the time the COVID pandemic took hold in March 2020 and changed the world forever, Peloton was poised to reap the rewards of a brilliant idea and impeccable timing.

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) said Thursday she is “ashamed” that Republicans are questioning the FBI’s credibility after it raided former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago. “I have been ashamed to hear members of my party attacking the integrity of the FBI agents involved with the recent Mar-a-Lago search,” she claimed. “These are sickening comments that put the lives of patriotic public servants at risk.” Cheney’s remarks follow multiple investigations into Trump, including the Russia hoax and two impeachment trials. Before that, the FBI looked the other way in 2016 regarding Hillary Clinton’s 33,000 acid-washed emails.

On Wednesday morning, a kindergarten was attacked, leaving six people injured and at least three people dead. A 48-year-old man has been arrested and is being charged with murder. Though it’s not certain yet whether children were included among the victims, authorities have stated that they are working to, “treat injured children and comfort victims’ families in a timely manner.” The alleged perpetrator was apprehended 12 hours after the attack after fleeing the scene to a nearby mountainous region, which was followed by an extensive manhunt. That search included over 1,000 police officers. It’s a horrific story, and our prayers and sympathies go out to those poor families.

There’s an old adage that goes something like this: When Christians die they go to heaven and when socialists die they go to communism. Make no mistake, when American leftists such as Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez extol the virtues of so-called ‘Democratic Socialism,’ what their hearts truly desire is Non-Democratic Communism. A common thread linking the two political philosophies is their overriding mindset toward wealth. Both socialism and communism are ideologies of envy and greed. You got it… they want it. In both cases, their solutions are government. The more government control the better, because government knows best.

The talk of an upcoming ‘red wave’ being produced by this November’s general election began in earnest over a year ago, once it became clear that the presidency of Joe Biden was headed for complete disaster. The Democratic Party’s grip on the White House may be secure for another two-plus years, but their control of Congress is exceptionally tenuous, with razor-thin margins giving them the majority in both houses. The overtaking of both the House of Representatives and the Senate in three months is undoubtedly there for the Republicans’ taking, and they should be able to put Democrats back in the minority without much difficulty.

The House GOP leadership has released a brief and vague two-page policy platform on border security for the 2022 election, after more than a year of inaction. Titled “House Republicans: We Must Secure the Southern Border,” the low-drama paper ignores the voter-mobilizing, economic impact of legal and illegal migration, and was released on a Friday before the weekend. But the platform does include significant promises of 2023 legislation to reform current laws on asylum, parole, and other high-profile issues outside the narrow issue of border control.

Following a newly-released FBI forensics report that concluded that the 64-year-old television and film star pulled the trigger on the “prop” gun that brought an end to Hutchins’ life during the filming of the western “Rust,” Baldwin played the victim by claiming that he feared that Trump would “instruct” his followers to act out violently against him after the tragic accident.

Republican Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa told Fox News on Friday that Mitch McConnell’s glum warning about the GOP’s Senate prospects in the midterms were an effort “to wake people up.” The Kentucky Republican Senator had said on Thursday, “I think there’s probably a greater likelihood the House flips than the Senate. Senate races are just different. They’re statewide. Candidate quality has a lot to do with the outcome.” Many interpreted this as the minority leader attempting to downplay expectations, and were not pleased: But Grassley painted a rosier picture as he attended the Iowa State Fair: We are going to take back the majority because of the fact

DES MOINES — Former Vice President Mike Pence is tapping the brakes on his willingness to testify before the House Jan. 6 committee, saying he has to ponder “profound constitutional issues” and the partisan nature of the probe before agreeing to any request. Mr. Pence recently surprised political analysts when he said he would consider testifying to the Democratic-led committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, chaos at the Capitol. But in an exclusive interview with The Washington Times, Mr. Pence took a more cautious line, saying there is a myriad of issues he must sort out before he agrees to talk to the panel.
