Alec Baldwin afraid Trump would ‘instruct
people’ to commit ‘violence’ against
him for ‘Rust’ shooting

Original Article

Actor Alec Baldwin appeared on CNN after the latest developments in his fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on a New Mexico movie set last October and once again showed that former President Donald J. Trump continues to live rent-free in his head. Following a newly-released FBI forensics report that concluded that the 64-year-old television and film star pulled the trigger on the “prop” gun that brought an end to Hutchins’ life during the filming of the western “Rust,” Baldwin played the victim by claiming that he feared that Trump would “instruct” his followers to act out violently against him after the tragic accident.

Funny you would say that, Alec, because I am afraid YOU would “instruct” YOUR followers to act out violently against ME because I am a supporter of Trump, whom YOU are afraid would “instruct” HIS followers to act out violently against YOU after the tragic accident but that only gets us into an infinite regress in which YOU then would be afraid et cetera, ad infinitum

“Trump” is now a magic word which among The Gullibles confers forgiveness from any crime or wrongdoing if it can somehow be worked into a sentence while talking about said crime or wrongdoing. I smashed the jewelry store window and stole the diamonds because I was afraid Trump would do it if I didn’t, and better for me to have the diamonds than for Trump to have them to use to fund a military coup and destroy democracy.

Why do people think those who are Trump followers are dangerous? WE never killed anyone. WE never shot a gun and said "hey I didn't pull the trigger." If Alec had immediately shown remorse. Apologized repeatedly. Offered to do whatever he could for the woman's family, he would likely be out of this situation by now. He did it. He killed her. No I don't think he meant to, but he did it and that's a crime. But stop worrying Alec, we have no interest in killing you. You're doing a good enough job on your own ruining your life.

Alec Baldwin is a celebrity. Like most of his peers, he is a leftist. Other than those two facts, the homicide in which he was involved, without proof of a plausible motive, at the end of the day is likely to be found negligent to manslaughter. Baldwin's popularity with one group and unpopularity with another shapes their respective views, but such opinions have no relevance in court. I don't like Baldwin as an individual, but I do like him as an actor. That's all that should really matter. The embarrassing national obsession in celebrity cases reflects poorly on the populace, too many of whom know far more about the subjects in People Magazine than in the halls of the legislature, courts, or state houses. Baldwin's statement is, of course, bizarre. But stress will cause people to say foolish things. Why President Trump has always felt compelled to weigh in on the lives and times of actors, news anchors, basketball players, singers, and musicians is baffling. He thinks and speaks too much about people and subjects of no consequence and too little about subjects of great magnitude. I would expect that of the vapid Alec Baldwins of Hollywood. But not to a former leader of the free world.

Alec, Trump's followers couldn't give a rat's patootie about "Rust" or your murder. Your claim to worrying about us being violent toward you would make far more sense if you blamed it on your over-the-top insulting mockery of Trump on SNL, not on the movie set murder. Baldwin's paranoid narcissism really screwed up his effort here to troll for compassion.

Trump's lawyers should have had him sign something indicating the documents had been declassified and then taken possession of them rather than leaving them at Mar-a-Lago. Had there been a subsequent subpoena, the lawyers could have simply agreed to meet the FBI at the law firm for a change of possession. Not nearly as exciting, dramatic, and titillating as what happened, it would have been a two-day story.

Oh, please, #27. Are you the Letticia Baldridge of cultural politics now? Baldwin is a public figure, by choice I might add. If PDT decides to make a comment on him, I have no problem with that. He did not lose that ability when he was elected President and frankly, should not just stand and take it when Baldwin throws verbal bombs his way. There is no high road in today’s politics coming from the left. They are vicious and vindictive and fight dirty. A fully warranted response from President Trump is not going to get any flack from me. While I will be the first to say, I don’t like the political atmosphere today, the right is not the cause of it. The left has always had the assumption that they could attack whenever and wherever they wished and the right would just take it. No more. Comity is a two way street and the Alex Baldwins of this world deserve everything they get. Don’t tug on Superman’s cape and you won’t suffer hurt feelings.

A comprehensively corrupt and politically motivated U.S. Justice Department has appealed the part of Judge Cannon’s previous order appointing a special master with authority to review documents the FBI collected at Mar-a-Lago last month. [Appeal for ‘stay’ pdf motion Here] The corrupt and politically motivated Lawfare prosecutors state they have serious concerns about handing government secrets to a third party and will not allow it. In essence, the DOJ-NSD, an agency within the justice department created by Eric Holder, is claiming no one outside the DOJ-NSD should be allowed to review the documents they have defined as “national security” interests.

Lee blames her termination on a letter sent to Yale by Trump’s friend Alan Dershowitz. Dr. Lee was not considered a staff member or employee of Yale University. Los Angeles Superior Court Jurist Daniel Lowenthal, whose Democratic congressman father endorsed the city’s embattled top prosecutor George Gascón, made the ruling Wednesday. Vamazae Elgin Banks, 24, was on trial for allegedly pointing a gun at the head of a McDonald’s cashier and threatening to kill her if she didn't hand over cash quickly enough. "Hurry up or I’ll blow your brains out!" Banks allegedly told the victim, court records show.

Does believing in freedom, justice, opportunity, less taxes, and smaller government make me an extremist? Absolutely not. The ones who are extremists are the ones who want to take that away from us!"

Iowa Republican Sen. Charles Grassley excoriated the Biden Department of Justice and Attorney General Merrick Garland over a memo sent to DOJ employees warning them to go through an internal office when dealing with Congress. Garland issued the memo on Aug. 30 reminding personnel of longstanding DOJ policy that communications with Congress go through the Office of Legislative Affairs. (snip) The Attorney General insisted the memo was not intended to discourage whistleblowers from reporting issues to Congress, but it came amid a string of whistleblower allegations from within the FBI both before and after the bureau raided former President Donald Trump's estate.

A federal judge has dismissed Carter Page's lawsuit against the FBI and former Director James Comey alleging they improperly surveilled him under a FISA warrant. The bureau surveilled Page under a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant in a process during which they concealed exculpatory evidence against him, DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz found in his 2019 report, per the Washington Examiner. Judge Dabney Friedrich, in a Thursday ruling, dismissed the suit.

I usually prefer to stay away from the ancillary stuff, but the remarks by Joe Biden today were not normal, not even close. (snip) These are not modified images or changes in presentation; they are exactly what was broadcast to the nation. It looks straight up evil. Like something out of a hellscape theatrical production intended to showcase Baal as the “soul of the nation.” (snip) I have never seen anything even close to this in a presidential address. Beyond creepy.

Bill Barr, who served as attorney general during the Trump administration, said Wednesday that the Justice Department appears to be “getting very close” to having sufficient evidence to indict former president Trump. Law enforcement is investigating former president Donald Trump for removal or destruction of records, obstruction of an investigation, and violating the Espionage Act, according to the search warrant for Trump’s residence at Mar-a-Lago. Barr said during an appearance on Fox News that government investigators must consider if they have a technical case against Trump and said, “I think they’re getting very close to that point, frankly.” He added that the DOJ must weigh what the potential fallout

Michelle Obama took a veiled swipe at former President Donald Trump by talking about the 'peaceful transition of power' and democracy being stronger than our 'divisions' as she returned to the White House for the first time since her husband Barack's term ended to unveil their official portraits. The former first lady was on the verge of tears as she said 'a girl like me—she was never supposed to be up there next to Jacqueline Kennedy and Dolly Madison' in the ceremony Wednesday with President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden. While the former president joked about how artist Sharon Sprung made his wife look 'fine,'

Republicans in the House are preparing to roll out their midterm agenda, which they hope will give voters a reason to vote for them and not just against Democrats. The brainchild of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, the “Commitment to America” will have four parts dealing with the economy, security, education/health care, and government accountability. McCarthy’s office has indicated the Commitment to America will debut in Pittsburgh on September 19. It’s loosely based on the “Contract with American” concept created for the 1994 midterm election that was credited with helping the GOP take over both the House and Senate.

Because most people don’t know a farmer personally anymore, everyone should realize that they don’t make piles of money producing our food. A good year can be followed by three bad ones, and 2022 has been a burden. Between record heat waves in the U.S. and abroad, droughts in the middle of the country, fertilizer shortages, and rising costs for just about every farm input, many American farms are on the brink. Everyone will feel the pinch in continued food price increases and shortages at the store. As bad as the agricultural outlook is in America, it is far worse in Europe. Former Attorney General William Barr during an interview on Fox News last week said that if Trump did indeed have a standing order to declassify all documents that he took with him as he left the White House, that would amount to a worse abuse than actually taking the documents. (snip) Barr called the order to appoint a special master a “deeply flawed” decision. (snip) Now, Barr is urging the Department of Justice to appeal Judge Cannon’s “deeply flawed” ruling. California officials say it will cost $14 billion to upgrade aging wastewater facilities that are dumping nutrients from treated human sewage into San Francisco Bay, which are feeding a giant algae bloom that has lingered for more than two months and killed tens of thousands of fish. The algae bloom, which appeared in late July, has grown to an immense size because of the tons of nutrients from urine and feces of the eight million Bay Area residents that is released into the waters daily—one plant alone dumps 85 million gallons a day that contains 5.5 tons of nitrogen. Scientists say the bloom was triggered by climate change,

NEWNAN, Ga. — Georgia Democrats have grown increasingly pessimistic about Stacey Abrams’s chances of ousting Gov. Brian Kemp from office, pointing to her struggles to rally key parts of her party’s coalition and her inability to appeal to a slice of moderate Republican voters who can decide the state’s elections. Public and private polls have consistently shown her trailing Mr. Kemp, a Republican seeking a second term. And, in a particularly worrying sign for Ms. Abrams, polls also show she is drawing less support than the other high-profile Democrat on the ballot, Senator Raphael Warnock, who is seeking a first
