Pence dials back willingness to testify
to ‘very partisan’ Jan. 6 committee

DES MOINES — Former Vice President Mike Pence is tapping the brakes on his willingness to testify before the House Jan. 6 committee, saying he has to ponder “profound constitutional issues” and the partisan nature of the probe before agreeing to any request. Mr. Pence recently surprised political analysts when he said he would consider testifying to the Democratic-led committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, chaos at the Capitol. But in an exclusive interview with The Washington Times, Mr. Pence took a more cautious line, saying there is a myriad of issues he must sort out before he agrees to talk to the panel.

Pence is a lightweight coward and a rat. Testify to what? I suppose he is beginning to realize the depth of the hole he has dug for himself. That is if there is any merit to the article by The Washington Times.

Pence's political career is gone. On January 6th, all he had to do is tell the electors in the states with real problems to go back, fix the problems and reverify the count. Give them 20 days to do it. He did not, he chose to except the fraudulent certification from these states. I hope the same thing happens to him as it did to Liz. I hope he fails badly.

He saw how well his comments about the FBI went over. Demanding that we all respect these obviously corrupt, jackbooted thugs in the wake of a totally politically driven search of Trump’s property. Next up he decides to wow Americans with a star guest appearance at the most blatantly partisan witch hunt since the Salem trials. Way to go Pence. Your political instincts are stellar.

Paywall When Pence was governor of Indiana, the state legislature passed a freedom of religion bill which would keep bakers, photographers, florists, etc from being sued for refusing to provide services for homosexual “weddings” based on their own religious beliefs. Pence signed the bill and the alphabet crowd went ape shiite on him. He caved and “unsigned” the bill. I never trusted him after that and was disappointed when PDT chose him as a running mate. Here he goes again. SSDD

I have no brief for Pence. He’s just another pol, as far as I’m concerned, but I have to laugh at his haters who fantasize that he had any legal, constitutional authority to do anything other than what he did on 1/6. He accepted the objections. He sent the matter back to the state delegations. They returned with their final counts. That’s all he could do. One poster said Pence was supposed to just invent from thin air a 20 day postponement, which would extend past Inauguration Day. Lunatic fringe thinking.

Sounds like more weasel words from the Pencester. "...saying he has to ponder...". A former vp has to "ponder" something? How about "ponder" what just happened at Mar A Lago, sir, because the same thing could happen to you someday. But since your political career is long since over, the dims, msm, fbi, and doj will probably leave you alone.

There is nothing that Pence can do in the short term to "fix" his support. He has been discovered as a likely undercover Deep State plant in the Trump campaign, or, at best, a weak kneed nothing who bends with the political pressures applied by the Deep State very easily. Either way, he's useless to us and should never get another vote for any office.

Democrats are trying to deny reality in order to win the midterms. In the land of alternate “facts” that Democrats would like to sell people, inflation is transitory and we aren’t in a recession. While Vladimir Putin was responsible for gas prices going up, Joe Biden is somehow responsible for them going down a little bit. It isn’t just that the demand dropped because the gas became so expensive. You should consider that a “raise” to your paycheck, even if it’s still costing you far more for gas than when Joe Biden started his term. But the bottom line? Try as the Democrats might, they can’t change the objective reality
