Pink Floyd Front Man Roger Waters Has
Been Political For Years, But Now He’s
A Pariah For Doing The Unthinkable

Roger Waters is a talented man who, along with guitarist David Gilmour, was largely responsible for the incredible success of the band Pink Floyd. Albums such as Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall have sold tens of millions of copies and have made Waters very wealthy. Roger Waters is also an intelligent man. One doesn’t create the quality of music that Waters has without a significant intellect, and if we’ve ever seen him interviewed as he discusses his achievements it’s clear he’s a smart guy. But Waters isn’t nearly as smart as he apparently thinks he is. Roger Waters has been quick to offer his political opinions

Comments:

Wait, a beloved leftwing musician is calling out Biden? How can that be? Too funny.

Perhaps it might be better to encourage him to continue speaking the truth about Biden and Ukraine. It does not mean you have to agree with the man on a personal level. Besides criticism about Bush and Iraq is pretty much spot on although many of us supported it at the time.

I don't mind celebrities voicing their opinions, left, right or squishy middle...what I do mind is when they act shocked, SHOCKED, when someone voices a contrary opinion back to them. Many of them ill-informed and ill-equipped to debate their positions, which in the end, make them look silly and of course, is what leaves them open to ridicule. I have a feeling that Roger Waters is smart enough to defend his position. However, I do completely disagree with him holding concert goers (who paid good money to hear him perform) hostage while he rants on and on about politics.

He’s from a family destroyed by war. Unless your immediate family has been destroyed by the charlatans causing people to die because of bad policy, I’d like to pour you a nice 55 gal drum of goeffyourself. Buncha keyboard warriors have been supporting murder for over 20 years and only TRUMP put a stop to it. I’ve disagreed with Roger many times (as did David Gilmour) but he’s beloved all the same. Not sorry.

So Roger Waters is 78 - the same age as Biden. Roger travels, gives concerts and coherent interviews. Biden, on the other hand, can't put his coat on and shakes hands with imaginary people.

I never did like the dog face entertainer, but Waters is right on this one. Biden escalated or was prompted to escalate the Ukrainian war when negotiation went out the window. Maybe Zelinsky is to blame but it's too late now we are in a war by proxy pouring weapons in non-stop.

Has the right lost its mind? Doesn't anybody, in their "he poked Dementia Joe" glee, bother to notice that Waters is supporting ***RUSSIA***, still the most evil empire around? Putin thinks he's the love child of Peter the Great and Joe Stalin, and the right is celebrating this? When did I slip into Bizarro World? In the old days, Waters would have been called a fellow traveler and a useful pinko idiot, but now he's a conservative hero? Jesus take me now.

The story of Peloton Interactive, Inc is one that in normal circumstances Americans could be extremely proud of. The company was founded only ten short years ago in New York City, the brainchild of five ambitious and daring young entrepreneurs who were looking to reimagine ways for people to stay physically fit. They were a hybrid of traditional technology and a modern fitness company, and they jumped out to an exceptionally quick start. By the time the COVID pandemic took hold in March 2020 and changed the world forever, Peloton was poised to reap the rewards of a brilliant idea and impeccable timing.

Rep. Though it’s not certain yet whether children were included among the victims, authorities have stated that they are working to, “treat injured children and comfort victims’ families in a timely manner.” The alleged perpetrator was apprehended 12 hours after the attack after fleeing the scene to a nearby mountainous region, which was followed by an extensive manhunt. That search included over 1,000 police officers. It’s a horrific story, and our prayers and sympathies go out to those poor families.

There’s an old adage that goes something like this: When Christians die they go to heaven and when socialists die they go to communism. Make no mistake, when American leftists such as Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez extol the virtues of so-called ‘Democratic Socialism,’ what their hearts truly desire is Non-Democratic Communism. A common thread linking the two political philosophies is their overriding mindset toward wealth. Both socialism and communism are ideologies of envy and greed. You got it… they want it. In both cases, their solutions are government. The more government control the better, because government knows best.

The talk of an upcoming ‘red wave’ being produced by this November’s general election began in earnest over a year ago, once it became clear that the presidency of Joe Biden was headed for complete disaster. The Democratic Party’s grip on the White House may be secure for another two-plus years, but their control of Congress is exceptionally tenuous, with razor-thin margins giving them the majority in both houses. The overtaking of both the House of Representatives and the Senate in three months is undoubtedly there for the Republicans’ taking, and they should be able to put Democrats back in the minority without much difficulty.

But the platform does include significant promises of 2023 legislation to reform current laws on asylum, parole, and other high-profile issues outside the narrow issue of border control.

It’s abundantly clear that former Vice President Mike Pence is going to run for president in 2024. He’s been putting in the leg work lately, with a scheduled trip to New Hampshire coming up. He’s also positioned himself as a Trump foil in the mid-term GOP primaries, taking a contrary position to the former president in several states, most recently in Arizona. For my part, I think Pence’s pursuit is delusional. There is exactly one person in the GOP who would be palatable to Trump voters if Trump himself weren’t the nominee, and his name is Ron DeSantis.
