Can the FBI be trusted? A Federalist analysis of agency lies over the last decade is an unequivocal no.
FISA Warrants -In the summer of 2016, FBI bureaucrats launched a deep-state operation, known as Crossfire Hurricane, to thwart then-candidate Trump’s presidential ambitions. It began by targeting Trump campaign foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos and quickly branched out as bureaucrats expanded their surveillance. The spy agency used the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) as a legal pretext to investigate and spy on Papadopoulos, in addition to former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn, former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, and former Trump adviser Carter Page.

I suspect that the response will be pretty much unanimous out here.

And this impressive list is just the recent years. The Hoover years alone could fill an encyclopedia.

I absolutely support law and order, but what these people have been doing for some time is not law and order. It's partisan political lawlessness and they have evolved into nothing more than another piece of the DNC militia.

Rank an file agents have been patted on the back for quite a few years now, but the only time we see them is on early morning raids on some Republican. Sure, it's mostly the leadership putting pressure on the agent. In court proceedings, some agents have testified truthfully in spite of being directed to lie, but more truth needs to be said.

#6...how long can the rank and file keep saying yes to what appears to be continuous partisan attacks before they're not part of the solution, but only another part of the problem?

Not sure who to compare them to, the 3 Stooges, in this case there would be a dozen or more stooges, the The Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight, or the 1962 Mets. Criminally stupid people sucked in by the democrat party.

Well right now, as we can see from the article and by paying attention to what has been going on, it appears that the politicized leadership of the FBI has in effect become the political secret police to protect the Democrat Party.
Who all that politicization hurts the most are the street level agents of the FBI out there all over the country working legitimate criminal and counterintelligence cases when just plain American people no longer dare to cooperate or even talk with them. When that happens a lot of innocent people’s lives could be put at risk.

Benefit of the doubt? All they will get from me is contempt, that and a complete lack of co-operation even if they are doing a legitimate investigation. And witness credibility in court? I'd be more likely to believe the private criminal over the government one. At least the private criminal doesn't have endless resources to fabricate evidence.

The FBI has been corrupt since it was founded by J. Edgar Crossdresser. The entire 17 agency US Secret Police apparatus needs to be demolished.

Watch Richard Jewell if you want another reason to despise the media and FBI. Appears the FBI has long gone rogue- we are just seeing on a grander scale the power of unchecked police powers.

Suspend certain operations within the fbi now. Then re-purpose what is left of it. What we don't need is an Americanized version of the German Stasi.

You can throw the ATF in with the FBI. They no longer hunt down Dillinger or Pretty Boy Floyd just Republicans as Public Enemy No. 1. Useless group that should be totally disbanded. The FBI are dangerous serving only as an enforcement arm of the DNC. Fire them all from top to bottom.

The rank and file are enablers. If your boss is asking you do do things you know are wrong, it is then your responsibility to leave that position. You do not carry out illegal orders. Find another place of employment. If you do not, you are part of the problem. No more passes. The abuse of the FBI has gone too far. Destroy the law enforcement segment and keep the scientific departments that are doing criminal work. Everything else, goes. Prosecute the top echelon and those underneath them involved in any way with the rampant criminality. There is no excuse to keep this agency running. Defund the FBI and watch the rats scurry off the ship.

We still do not know the story on how anthrax got into Florida victims after 9/11. The FBI bungled that investigation as well. The CDC failed un its mission as well.
Those events are earlier than the dates covered in this article. Of course, there is Ruby Ridge for those who are old enough and still have good memories.

Heck No they don't. Glad there are some alleged whistleblowers coming forward though. I hope they are as disgusted with the DC leadership as the rest of us are.
