An 80-year-old woman was banned from using a community pool run by the YMCA in Washington state after she expressed her anger because she said that a man dressed in a woman’s swimsuit was watching little girls undress and also saw her naked in the women’s showers, according to local media reports. Julie Jaman, 80, had been swimming at the Mountain View pool, a Port Townsend facility, for 35 years, but on July 26, the Y’s aquatics manager, Rowen DeLuna, allegedly informed her that some children needed the lane she was swimming in.

Not my father’s YMCA. The acronym stands for Young Men’s Christian Association. So many decent organizations over the years have been rotted from inside out by liberalism. Too bad.

Oh the irony! A grandmother caught naked in the YMCA locker room asks a man watching little girls pull down their swim suits if he has a penis. His response: It’s none of your business. He seems to be taking his OWN right to privacy very seriously. A group of attorneys like the ones who sued Oberlin might want to go to court to discover who needs to be banned from the YMCA. The employees tried bullying an 80 year old grandmother. She was rightly concerned about her own privacy, as well as lack of privacy for little girls on the toilet. No doubt the public will be interested in learning more about the YMCAs treatment of the grandmother, as well as the irresponsible failure to protect the little girl from the prying eyes of a grown man.

Creepy perverts have always hung around the Y's pools. I recall as a little boy taking the bus to downtown Indy YMCA every Saturday back in the '40s. Swimmers didn't wear suits but swam nude. Some "men" got their jollies off hanging around the pool watching boys swimming.

The weird thing is, if this guy had been looking through windows at the women/girls or a guy dressed in men's clothing in the locker room in a shower stall taking a look at the girls; all he'll would break loose and he would be hauled off to jail. Instead, this guy gets to do it all he wants, get paid by the Y, and everyone is expected to accept it as normal because he says it's a she. The only one in trouble is the 80 year old who calls this out?

I belong to a Y that holds to its Christian beliefs. If this would happen at mine, we would end our membership. I think any man that identifies as a woman that comes to our Y should use the family locker room that has private areas to change.

I suspect the men were at work, and the children were at the pool with their mothers or grandparents. However, the watching of an 80-year-old taking a shower could almost be punishment enough.

The YMCA has followed the YWCA to the woke dark side. They receive federal funding but are still charging ridiculously high prices to those members who are not underprivileged to pay for the underprivileged to enjoy their facilities for free. Letting perverts into the girls' locker room should be the final straw for all decent people.

#12 - happened to me ( and every other male in my high school ). We had the luxury of an indoor pool and we had to swim naked and NO, most if not all of us didn't particularly like it but we didn't get a vote, so to speak. Swimming naked stopped within 48 hours ( !! ) when one of the male PhysEd 'teachers' was 'caught in a compromising situation' at a road side park ! I think almost half the parents with students in that school showed up and basically said - STOP IT RIGHT NOW ... OR ELSE !! We had swimming trunks within 2 days !! I like to think part of it was that there was NO VALID explanation as to exactly WHY the boys had to swim nude ! It wasn't easier, or healthier, or just better, nothing except one or more men getting their jollies !

If scientists can study the effects of cow farts on the climate, why not spend a few dollars to find out how menopause effects trans-women?

DARWIN, NT — A man returning from Indonesia to Australia was fined thousands of Australian dollars after airport security found several McDonald's food items in the man's luggage after he touched down. The Australian government said in a statement that the man was singled out by a "biosecurity detector dog" trained to sniff out meat. When security inspected his backpack, they found two egg and beef sausage McMuffins from a Mcdonald's restaurant in Bali and a ham croissant. The man, who was not identified, faces a fine of $2664 (AUS) — equivalent to about $1843.45 USD — for the smuggled sandwiches.
