The NFL has recommended a season-long suspension for Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, who recently settled 20 of 24 civil lawsuits filed against him for various sexual misconduct claims. Hearings started Tuesday over what type of disciplinary action the star quarterback should face. The hearing will consider whether Watson violated the league’s personal conduct policy.

He settled the lawsuits basically admitting his guilt. He’s a bum. The NFL should put morals above lucre and get rid of him forever.

The Cleveland Browns have a history, when picking quarterbacks, of picking the wrong one. And they do it, again and again. In order to get Watson - can we call him Sperm Boy? - the Browns gave up several future draft picks, which in turn will weaken the team in future years. Watson agreed to a multi-year contract, with a total salary of $230 million dollars! That's some serious dollars, even for the Biden Crime Family. The contract is also no-cut. And Sperm Boy cannot be traded, without his approval. I have seen some dumb contracts with the NFL, but this one is the craziest.

I hate to say it, as a Browns fan since I was a wee lad, but the current Browns management seems to be totally incompetent. This incomprehensible debacle with Deshawn Watson may be the final straw for me. Can you imagine having your sons or daughters rooting for a team with that man as the team quarterback? Winning is not that important. These are not the Browns of Paul Brown and many other good coaches and managers.

A company has to protect its reputation, and its brand at all costs. Watson is an embarrassment to the brand, and a turnoff to customers. The QB is the on field team leader. Watson does not have the character to represent the team, or be a leader of any sort. Frankly, I don't see a way forward with this player. The NFL is a small club, and there is no place obscure enough for Watson, and he does not meet the character qualifications for the QB position.

Two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton may campaign for president in 2024 if President Joe Biden decides not to run, CNN’s editor-at-large Chris Cillizza wrote on Tuesday. Citing Friday’s Supreme Court ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade, Cillizza claimed that there were “whispers” that Clinton would make a third attempt to secure the Democrat nomination, adding that another White House run “would be something that would be hard for Clinton to not at least look at” if Biden were to decline to run again.

The court’s decision to punish Anez, who took office in 2019 following the resignation of former President Evo Morales, was politically motivated, her lawyer Luis Guillen said, according to the New York Times. Guillen also argued that Bolivia’s current government, led by a socialist ally of Morales, broke the law in its treatment of Anez during her detention.

The military is facing the worst recruiting environment since the end of the Vietnam War. The Army is at only 40% of its recruiting numbers for the fiscal year despite raising its maximum enlistment bonus from $40,000 to $50,000. It now offers new recruits up to $10,000 for showing up to basic training in 30 days. And is no longer even asking them for a high school diploma. "We've never offered $50,000 to join the Army," Maj. Gen. Kevin Vereen, head of U.S. Army Recruiting Command, said. While the Army runs anime lesbian wedding ads, it’s pushing away the recruits it needs, young patriotic men from traditional backgrounds.
