For anyone who doubted the level to which Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) is disconnected from the average American, as well as the overwhelming majority of conservatives and/or Republicans, they need not look any further than Cheney’s embracing of a recent Hollywood endorsement. Cheney is apparently thrilled that actor Kevin Costner has thrown his support behind her candidacy in the GOP Wyoming Primary election in two weeks. The 56-year-old congresswoman is fighting for her political life, attempting to win a fourth term in office. Lauren Boebert, the anti-Cheney. She is to the House what Ted Cruz is to the Senate. Way to go Ms. Boebert.

Costner should stick to what he knows -- memorizing words written by people smarter than him and then repeating them when directed to do so

So an actor who pretends to be a rancher, has endorsed a politician who pretends to be Republican. What's the big deal?

Lizzard, what will it take - a bat upside the head to get you to understand that you are a very sick woman. And that Wyoming doesn't want you anymore because you spent too much time listening to your daddy and don't know the state residents or talk to them, or even know what state they are from. You are outa here, girl. Maybe there is a tire repair shop in Casper that can use you parttime at the front desk. But you need to be able to count money and make change, and smile once in the while. What a disappointment you have been. As a greeter at Walmart? Funny.

Elon Musk’s dad held nothing back when asked by Australian radio talk show hosts to weigh in on his Tesla founder son’s life and career, revealing he was not proud of the billionaire businessman and favored his brother Kimbal. Errol Musk, 76, on Monday called into Kyle and Jackie O’s show on the Australian radio station KIIS FM for a brutally honest 20-minute interview, in which he downplayed Elon’s success and took a swipe at his physical appearance — claiming that he even suggested the 50-year-old take diet pills after seeing his shirtless photos on a boat in Greece.

There’s an approach by Democrats to problem-solving that is becoming increasingly common, and it’s a tactic that focuses on our language. Rather than fixing problems, they instead attempt to either eliminate words from our daily lexicon or simply change the definition of the word. In March in the deep blue state of New Jersey, for instance, we saw the practice in action when state lawmakers eliminated the word “inmate” from their criminal code in favor of “incarcerated person.” We saw another example of it this week when the Biden Administration insisted on trying to redefine the term “recession.”

There is perhaps no better example of gaslighting by today’s Democratic Party than when it comes to the issue of “Defund the Police.” In the aftermath of the death of George Floyd in the spring of 2020, the mantra was all the rage in leftwing, Democratic circles. Their media, their spokespeople, their elected officials – all of them – were singing the same song: Police are evil, the system is racist, and we need to put our tax dollars to use doing something else. The movement never made any sense. Anyone who is old enough to remember the days of high-crime cities or who has watched movies like

The FBI and Justice Department have been accused by “highly-credible whistleblowers” of burying “verified and verifiable” dirt on President Biden’s troubled son Hunter by incorrectly dismissing the intelligence as “disinformation,” according to Sen. Chuck Grassley. The ranking member on the Senate Judiciary Committee made the explosive claims Monday in an official Senate letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland. He insisted the allegations were so serious they would prove — if confirmed — that both offices were “institutionally corrupted to their very core.”

When decision-making time comes during our weekly exercise to determine who to recognize for exceptional stupidity, it seems that the incomparable Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is virtually always a candidate. Aside from President Joe Biden, no one has received the honor more than AOC, with this week marking her fourth appearance. Accordingly, our panel tends to avoid selecting the leader of “The Squad” if possible, considering that there is so much knuckleheadedness out there to call attention to, and it just doesn’t seem fair that the second-term congresswoman should dominate our Saturday tributes. But then again, when she has weeks like this one, her idiocy cannot be ignored.

In the world of politics and the justice system, we seldom find ourselves with absolutes. Even the best politicians and lawyers have their flaws, and even the most disgraceful officials occasionally reveal some redeeming quality. As great as Ronald Reagan was, he apparently lacked when it came to parenting skills, if we are to believe certain members of his family. And as reprehensible as the far-left Bernie Sanders may be, at least he’s philosophically consistent, going after fellow Democrats when he deems necessary and admitting that his far-fetched socialist plans would indeed increase taxes on the middle class. Then we have characters such as Michael Avenatti:

People with pronouns meltdown over the wrong he/she being used, so this is not an overstatement. Americans are no strangers to “times that try men’s souls,” to borrow a phrase from Thomas Paine. By mid-1945, the United States had been at war for three-and-a-half years, enduring the draft, separation from loved ones, mounting numbers of casualties, and rationing, with no end in sight. Many Americans were weary, not unlike our feelings now, after two-and-a-half years of privations and anguish related to the COVID-19 pandemic. That sense of anxiety and the widespread desire to return to normality brought to mind how World War II was suddenly – and to many, unexpectedly – resolved.

Craft breweries across America have been on the front lines of businesses facing higher material costs because of inflation. Now, many are confronting a shortage of a key ingredient: carbon dioxide, the gas that gives beer its crisp, effervescent taste. And one brewer has already said it plans to shut down a key manufacturing plant and lay off workers as a result. Night Shift Brewing, in Everett, Massachusetts, just outside Boston, cited the CO2 shortage as the reason it is suspending operations at its longtime facility and outsourcing to nearby locations instead. "Come October 1, we won’t likely have jobs for many of this team," the company said in a statement on Instagram.
