Mitt Romney warns that Trump's re-election
would render America 'incurable'

Original Article

Yesterday on July 4, Atlantic magazine published an op-ed by Senator Mitt Romney titled "America Is in Denial." Romney began by claiming that Americans tend to be divorced from reality. He cited examples of water being wasted on lawns and golf courses despite reservoirs drying up, and progressive politicians voting to increase government spending despite inflation and growing national debt. After the inane generalities, Romney began inching toward his real target: Donald Trump.

Two whimsical hypotheses here. 1) the ruling elite have told him: we actually want the next president to be a sort of Republican; that way he'll inherit the blame for the astronomical amount of damage caused by the reign of the Vegetable. 2) this hateful diatribe is a down payment to those who might tie him to the Utah child sacrifice ring.

And "most of the east coast will be under water in 12 years if you don't stop driving gasoline cars immediately!"....a claim from about 1984 or so. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If we don't give over all power to the WEF/Deep State ruling class to do as they please, all sorts of bad things will happen, like freedom, jobs, a comfortable lifestyle, a great economy, lower fuel prices, better health, free from dangerous, mandatory "vaccines" and, did I mention, FREEDOM? Mitt Romney and people like him are more interested in perpetuating the Washington DC establishment and keeping the concentration of power in Washington DC and with people like himself than making the country successful and great. Trump represents a threat to the DC wine and cheese cocktail party crowd elite who operate the government like their own personal enrichment center. Trump worked to decentralize this power from Washington DC. This is clearly shown in the recent Supreme Court decisions returning power to the states (Roe v Wade) or taking power away from nameless government agency bureaucrats and returning it to Congress (EPA). This is a big threat to the elite's power base. Democrats and RINOS like Romney wouldn't know what to do if Trump were reelected. Best thing is, Trump would be prepared for it this time.

With the inexorable march of time, Hillary Clinton’s cheekiness has been matched by a set of sagging jowls that seem to vibrate with anticipation at being back in the political fold. While some might say she turns up like the proverbial bad penny, Ms. Clinton clearly sees herself as coin of the realm. Hillary requires no lectures from the likes of former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel on how never to let a crisis go to waste. As a perennial Queen of Crises s, she understands that the deeper a country is plunged into chaos and the wider the ideological rift between its people, the more malleable

We all know that Barack Obama is having his third Presidential term in the form of the senile presidency of Joe Biden. Just ask Valerie Jarrett. The transformation of America and its circling-the-bowl-descent to Venezuela is proceeding apace. But what is the Left to do when its sock puppet president can no longer walk or talk or when his family’s criminal dealings become too large for even the corrupt media to conceal? How do you continue a shadow presidency then?

Jump out of a perfectly good airplane, charge a machine gun nest, be stationed at Ft. Irwin – these are just three of the myriad miseries American patriots are willing to endure to defend our country. But today's military is asking too much of our young people, as evidenced by the crashing recruitment rates that threaten to deplete a military already running short of soldiers. Have our young people suddenly turned from heroes to zeros, ne'er-do-well heirs of the brave warriors who confronted the forces of tyrannical gun control at Lexington and Concord?

It is obvious to the meanest, but still honest, intelligence that Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Org., which returns the question of abortion to the states, in lieu of an imaginary constitutional right, is correctly decided. However, because people were focused on the opinion Justice Alito drafted, too few noticed that the Supreme Court’s leftist justices (Breyer, Kagan, and Sotomayor) explicitly voided the entire Constitution, stating that it is an invalid document that cannot control either the federal government’s structure or the American people’s rights.

As is usual, the Supreme Court saved its most important decisions for the end of this term, and the three biggies were handed down within days of each other: “Bruen (gun rights), Dobbs (abortion rights) and West Virginia (administrative regulation of CO2).” You don’t have to be a constitutional law scholar to wade through all this and the footnotes, citations, and legal disputations. Francis Menton has done it for you: (You can’t rely on the major media to do it. For the most part they share the same ideological viewpoint as that of the three dissenting justices, a view Menton explains very well.)

In an act of breathtaking defiance and spitefulness not seen since Southern states engaged in "massive resistance" to the Supreme Court's 1954 Brown v. Not since the decade leading up to the Civil War has there been as much discussion about the possibility of the United States splitting into two or more countries as there has been in the past 10 years. The reality is that this nation has effectively split into two countries which are, for the moment, tenuously living side-by-side. Race or ethnicity has been the underlying foundation in the creation of every nation in the history of mankind except the United States, as its founding was based on the tenet that all men are created equal and are endowed with certain unalienable rights that government cannot abrogate.

The whole abortion thing kind of baffles me because it is absolutely bizarre that anyone would choose this particular hill to die on or, rather, to kill a bunch of babies on. From a utilitarian angle, it's certainly not a great banner to be carrying because most normal people consider the whole thing horribly distasteful and frankly don't want to think about it. Ideologically, liberals could have gone either way. It's not like they believe in anything. It's not like they had to choose to defend abortion instead of opposing it. They have no problem telling people what they can and can't do as a principle.

For many readers, the above title will conjure up memories of the 2008 housing crash caused by the proliferation of subprime mortgages and the subsequent tsunami of defaults. But a better corollary for the coming Biden bust is the Carter crash that occurred three decades earlier. During the final two years of Carter’s term, sales of existing and new homes collapsed because the Fed was forced to raise interest rates sharply to get double-digit inflation under control. This, in turn, produced double-digit mortgage rates that priced millions of potential buyers out of the market.
