It’s a fairly common phenomenon, though we normally see it with adolescents and teenagers. They bite the hand that feeds them, then come back with their tails between their legs pleading for help. The 14-year-old lashes out at Dad for making him cut the lawn, then asks him for $200 for a new pair of Adidas shoes that same afternoon. The newly licensed driver says, “Yeah, yeah, yeah” on her way out the door with the car keys as Mom reminds her to drive safely, and then calls home in tears two hours later after she gets into a fender-bender. And the 19-year-old college freshman gets punched at a rally

If you'll remember, when a couple UCLA basketball players got in trouble in China (although they also stated their disgust with then-President Trump), Pres. Trump made a call to President Xi in China and they were able to catch a flight the next day to the good ol' USA. I think that Ms. Greiner probably would have gotten the same treatment under the previous administration. Problem now is that Putin wouldn't even answer the phone when Sleepy Creepy Crooked President Uncle Joe calls. Although I think this girl made her own problems, I don't think I'd be traveling to any country that doesn't have excellent relationships with the USA. Which pretty well keeps most countries off the list.

At 41 she will have lost a step and her bb career over. I'm hopeful that the culture around vaping hashish ... not THC (which is very dangerous as well) will be a bit different. While legalized marijuana use is in vogue currently, the consequences are beginning to show up in addiction treatment circles. I would suggest that mindset will be very different as well. The 'New Age' Aquarian Revolution might end up being very different than what its proponents will have you believe. People I know who follow that Philosophy are experiencing total collapse of everything around them, and are afraid for their future. Many of them have no work skills, and while educated, it is in areas that are more about propaganda than actually accomplishing anything or adding something beneficial to society. Friends and family arrived for a graduation in May at the University of Denver. We forgot to warn them. Once a cosmopolitan utopia of clean, safe, family-friendly neighborhoods and parks, Denver now looks and feels like a drug orgy. The stench of marijuana wafts through neighborhoods where a small percentage of family dwellings have transitioned into pot farms. Walking through much of Denver and other Colorado cities, one becomes accustomed to stepping over and around growing numbers of full-time drug users living on sidewalks, parks, medians, and lawns. The broad-based degradation started when voters approved Amendment 64 in 2012,

The Republican National Committee will stop covering former President Donald Trump's legal bills if he announces a presidential bid for 2024 too soon, according to reports. The RNC has paid almost $2 million in legal fees for the former president as he faces different investigations into his financial dealings and conduct during the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, a committee official told ABC News. However, those payments will end soon after Trump announces a reelection bid because of the RNC’s policies on maintaining neutrality in elections — meaning if the former president announces a bid too soon, the RNC could stop contributing to his legal costs.

There is a multitude of remedies for digging an economy out of a recession or avoiding an economic recession altogether. There tends to be, however, a common thread amongst each of these methods. Since conditions that drive a recession typically emerge over long periods of time, it generally takes a comparable amount of time for our government officials and the Federal Reserve to correct our collective course. If our Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is lagging due to certain contributors, for instance, an injection of cash into the economy via government spending can jump-start our economy and push GDP growth back to the positive side of the ledger.

By mid-1945, the United States had been at war for three-and-a-half years, enduring the draft, separation from loved ones, mounting numbers of casualties, and rationing, with no end in sight. Many Americans were weary, not unlike our feelings now, after two-and-a-half years of privations and anguish related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
