Disney to produce more gay content for

Parents are pushing back after Disney announced plans for a task force to include more LGBTQ content in its films and TV shows as the company simultaneously faces a massive employee walkout over its response to Florida's 'Don't Say Gay' bill. In a town hall meeting on Monday, CEO Bob Chapek said the entertainment behemoth would put together a task force to ensure that more LGBTQ-awareness content is available for children. On Friday, reports emerged that Disney was reinstating a kissing scene between two women in the upcoming 'Toy Story' spinoff 'Lightyear'—after Pixar employees accused the parent company of cutting gay characters from films.

A good first step would be for sane parents to stop feeding money to Mickey Rat, but it's an uphill battle because the US government itself is pushing this stuff hard. Look at the books available even for the youngest children in any public library; this is being financed by our patriotic agencies as part of our Great Leap Downward, using our tax dollars to do it.

Disney's next "feature" character needs to be a Petey the Pickle because that is where they now find themselves.

This shows how propoganda works. The bill does not say "Don't say gay", never even mentions it. Repeat the lie over and over, and it becomes fact.

Homosexuals do not reproduce so they must continuously recruit children. Evil, evil, evil. This is why for centuries they have been despised and hated and treated like the abnormal, destructive people that they are. They try to sell themselves as "normal people" when they are anything but.

I have several Disney movies on DVD. They are the kind that Disney used to produce - The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh, Thomasina, and The Parent Trap (the original with Hayley Mills). What a disaster Disney has become in my lifetime. It makes me sad.

So, Disney has decided to create more gay content because the staff wants it? Since when does the staff of any company get a say in the content of that company's product? Especially a product that will decrease sales of that product. Disney is committing suicide and the people running it can't see it.

Absolutely, Disney should spend hundreds of millions making and marketing LBTQ-oriented 'entertainment'. To date, most Americans have put up with minor movie/cartoon sequences featuring furtive gay looks, touches, and kisses. But I and my family will be glad NOT to spend a dime to watch shows expressing more obviously such perverted crap. I cannot wait to see Disney lose money if they try to placate these employees more openly. I am surprised that as a business Disney seems to have gone out of its way to hire to hire LBTQ perverts and in so doing putting its business at risk for walkouts of consequence that require the CEO to grab his ankles.

I have three kids who are now adults. When they were young we used to go to Disney in Orlando three of the seven days of our Orlando time share. We have not visited Disney in over ten years. Aside from being over priced and obsolete (It's A Small World animatronics were a sight to behold at one time) Disney has become a disgrace. I do not yet have grandchildren, but even if I did, I would NEVER go back to Disney. Firetruck them. I hope there are many who feel as I do and who will also turn their back on this disgusting company. I hope their business goes down in flames. There are consequences for their anti-innocence attitude. Walt is spinning in his grave.

There’s a dimwit in twitter that is accepting donations to put up billboards in Florida with just the word gay. The conservatives responses are hilarious but the overwhelming theme is read the dang bill. So many idiots think that’s what the bill is actually about. Let them spend their money on stupid things.

The solution to this problem is to just stop going to Disney facilities and buying their product. I was reading last week employees at Pixar were so upset their boss couldn't do anything about the bill that they re-installed a scene in a movie they are making of two gays kissing. They sure do like drama.

About a third of people around the world are not now covered by early warning systems, but in Africa the problem is greater, with about six in 10 people lacking such warnings. As climate breakdown takes hold, more people are likely to be affected by extreme weather, including flash floods, heatwaves, more violent storms and coastal storm surges, made worse by sea level rises. António Guterres said it was unacceptable that so many people were still not covered by early warning systems,
