Disney workers threaten more strikes unless
firm stops building attractions in Florida

The upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy and Tron rollercoasters are just two projects in the pipeline at Disney World that could be delayed if employees who are protesting the company's response to Florida's 'Don't Say Gay' bill get their way. Protesters have asked the company to halt donations to politicians involved in the passage of the bill, such as Gov. Ron DeSantis—but they also want Disney to stop all 'construction and investment in the state of Florida' until the bill is repealed.(Snip)Gov. Ron DeSantis, however, says the bill's aim is to 'empower parents' in their children's education, and make teachers recognize the distinction between 'instruction' and 'discussion.'

Oh Chapek! Let go of your ankles and DO your job. It isn't to placate those employees with a political agenda (a perverted one, IMHO). Your job is to SELL entertainment to the overwhelming majority of our population who ARE NOT a part of the LTGB crowd. Your job is to make money so that shareholders see profits and buy more of your stock. I hope to heaven Disney hasn't completely sold its soul and hired so many perverts that the alphabet crowd can exert power over Disney's primary mission. Remember! Your job is to make money.

I took my to Disneyworld in Florida last October and we were so disappointed. The place is dirty and the rides are rundown. 90 minutes for Space Mountain. No character actors to spice up the park. Biggest disappointment was It's A Small World. Entrance looked like a loading dock at Walmart. Never again. Plenty of other attractions and the great beaches are 30 minutes away and free.

Perverts and pedophiles. Any adult who talks to children about sex, other than their parents, is a pervert and a pedophile. It is sexual grooming plain and simple. They need to be arrested, tried, found guilty and sentenced to life without parole and kept in the general population of the toughest prisons in America where justice is certain to be dispatched on an hourly basis. Prisoners administering said justice should be compensated.

Immigration experts warn that a 'bottleneck' of an estimated 170,000 refugees has built up over the last two years in Mexico after being turned away at the southern US border under a Trump-era policy known as Title 42.
