Former White House physician Ronny Jackson, who served in the role under the Obama and Trump administrations, said on Friday that Democrat President Joe Biden needed to immediately resign to spare putting the country through more suffering because Biden is not mentally fit to be president. “Biden doesn’t know what’s going on with Ukraine,” Jackson tweeted. “He doesn’t know what’s going on with ANYTHING! He’s not cognitively capable of leading. He needs to RESIGN before our country suffers any more.” (Tweet)

Claim: President Joe Biden claimed that he “could not afford child care … as a United States Senator” in 1973.VERDICT: Probably False. Biden was a high earner and his sister, Valerie, moved in to take care of his two sons.Biden told House Democrats Friday at their annual retreat that after his wife and daughter were killed in a car accident shortly after he was elected to the U.S. Senate, he commuted daily between Wilmington, Delaware, and Washington, DC, because he could not afford the cost of child care.He made that point as a way of arguing for his proposal to cap child care expenses at 7% of income for individuals

Bill Clinton signed a copy of his memoir to Ghislaine Maxwell, a photograph exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com reveals. The former President wrote 'To Ghislaine with love' in blue marker in the front cover of 'My Life', said Maxwell's former dog walker Rasmus Alpsjö.
Alpsjö told DailyMail.com that he remembered finding the copy of 'My Life', which came out in 2004, one day at Maxwell's $15million New York townhouse. He took a picture to remind himself of it and thought that it added to the 'mystery' about who Maxwell was. The friendly tone of the letter is one of the latest indications of how close Maxwell was with Clinton,

Democrats have finally fouled things up so badly that even a critical part of their voting base is leaving the building. A recent poll reveals that support for the party among minority voters has taken a significant dive over the past year, and if this trend continues, it could have ramifications even beyond the upcoming midterm elections.
The Wall Street Journal released the results of a poll on Friday analyzing American attitudes towards President Joe Biden’s performance in office, among other issues. But one result that will almost assuredly be ignored by the activist media is the reality that Democrats are faring horribly with minority voters, when compared to their typical performance.

FBI agents violated their own rules at least 747 times in 18 months while conducting investigations involving politicians, candidates, religious groups, the news media and others, according to a 2019 FBI audit obtained by The Washington Times. Earlier today Steve noted a Wall Street Journal poll that contains good news for Republicans and bad news for Democrats. There is an additional feature of that poll that deserves notice, as highlighted in the Journal’s article about it:
The survey also found Republicans making gains among minority groups. By 9 percentage points, Hispanic voters in the new poll said they would back a Republican candidate for Congress over a Democrat. The two parties had been tied among Hispanic voters in the Journal’s survey in November.
Democratic margins also eroded among Black voters, who favored a Democrat for Congress by 35 percentage points in the new survey, down from 56 points in November.

President Biden did not receive a game-changing approval bounce after the State of the Union address (SOTU), as his approval rating remains underwater by double digits, a Wall Street Journal survey released Friday found.
The survey, conducted by Impact Research and Fabrizio, Lee & Associates after Biden’s SOTU address, found 57 percent disapproving of Biden’s job performance, compared to 42 percent who approved — a net negative of -15 percent. WSJ said these figures come “despite favorable marks for the president’s response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and a recent State of the Union speech, which provided him an opportunity to directly speak to millions of Americans.”

CNN continues to undergo massive changes coinciding with AT&T’s corporate handoff to new owner Discovery and the ouster of former company president Jeff Zucker. Zucker left, Chris Cuomo left, and sundry employees did the same as disgusting allegations of pedophilia came to light.

A Texas judge on Friday blocked the state’s Department of Family and Protective Services from conducting investigations of parents of transgender children for potential child abuse.
District judge Amy Clark Meachum wrote in her ruling that a lawsuit by the American Civil Liberties Union and Lambda Legal against the DFPS holds a “substantial likelihood” of success.
The groups filed a lawsuit after Texas governor Greg Abbott in February ordered the DFPS to conduct investigations of parents of transgender children. Abbott announced the order following a legal opinion by state attorney general Ken Paxton, declaring the use of sex-change procedures and prescription of puberty blockers to children as “child abuse.”

Austin, Texas -- The Texas Supreme Court on Friday dealt essentially a final blow to abortion clinics’ best hopes of stopping a restrictive law that has sharply curtailed the number of abortions in the state since September and will now fully stay in place for the foreseeable future.
The ruling by the all-Republican court was not unexpected, but it slammed the door on what little path forward the U.S. Supreme Court had allowed Texas clinics after having twice declined to stop a ban on abortions after roughly six weeks of pregnancy.

On the rainy morning of March 28, 2020, President Trump addressed a phalanx of journalists outside the White House following a call with New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. “There’s a possibility that sometime today, we’ll do a quarantine — short-term, two weeks — of New York, probably New Jersey, and certain parts of Connecticut,” he said while clutching his umbrella. “This would be an enforceable quarantine. Hours later, Cuomo was asked during his daily press conference about Trump’s comments. “From a medical point of view, I don’t know what you’d be accomplishing,” he offered with a shrug.

The World Health Organization advised Ukraine to destroy high-threat pathogens housed in the country's public health laboratories to prevent "any potential spills" that would spread disease among the population, the agency told Reuters. Like many other countries, Ukraine has public health laboratories researching how to mitigate the threats of dangerous diseases affecting both animals and humans including, most recently, COVID-19. Its labs have received support from the United States, the European Union and the WHO. Biosecurity experts say Russia's movement of troops into Ukraine and bombardment of its cities have raised the risk of an escape of disease-causing pathogens, should any of those facilities be damaged.

With most of the rest of the planet eliminating the indoor mask requirement, why is the Biden administration extending the mandate to wear masks on airplanes and trains until April 18?
There’s stupid. There’s silly. And then there’s the federal government’s mask requirement on public transit.
Masks have contributed in no small way to the spike in “unruly” passenger complaints from airlines. It’s usually started by some busybody who claims someone isn’t wearing their mask correctly or took it off. What follows usually isn’t very pretty.
Why is this even an issue after the CDC said that cloth masks are not effective in stopping the spread of the coronavirus?

Education Minnesota, the NEA branch that runs Minnesota’s public schools, has been making war on the state’s children for the last two years. In 2020 the teachers’ union demanded that the schools be shut down, and in a Democratic administration, what the union demands, it gets. The result, when test results came in at the end of the 2021 school year, was a catastrophic collapse in student performance.
That was bad enough. But, now that the schools are finally back in session, the Minneapolis union still doesn’t want to work. It has gone on strike, shutting down the schools once again. The context for the strike is grim:

The capacity for stupid, pointless, gestures by liberals demonstrating that they “stand up for Ukraine” or “speak truth to Putin” has gotten to the point where even my Pepto-Bismal can’t keep me from retching up my lunch.
Indeed, the “protests” are more a statement of solidarity than anything meaningful. But what makes me sick to my stomach is that the Western protesters can’t imagine they’re taking this protest against Putin beyond reason so that the ludicrous lengths to which they are going to signal their virtue might appear very odd and disturbing to ordinary people.

Conventional wisdom is that the 2022 midterms will be a political bloodbath for the Democrats. For starters, historically speaking, the party in power typically loses seats. But on top of that, Biden’s poor approval ratings are dragging down his entire party, and more than 30 House Democrats have announced their retirements.
Nevertheless, during the Democratic National Committee’s winter meeting on Thursday, Biden insisted his party could defy history. How? All they’ve got to do is replicate their 2020 enthusiasm. “If we do that, we’re going to keep the House and keep the Senate — and add seats,” he claimed.
Good luck with that.

For the last several weeks, reports of a new JCPOA “nuclear” deal with Iran being imminent have surfaced. Even as Russia invaded Ukraine, the United States was said to be forging ahead, with an announcement to be made any day. That despite the fact that Russia itself was the chief mediator.
But this is Joe Biden we are talking about, so he even managed to find a way to fail at an objectively bad thing, and not for lack of trying. Iran deal negotiations have been suspended after Russia demanded sanctions relief in return for an agreement.

The City of West Hollywood is launching a guaranteed income program that excludes straight people. Here are the guidelines as laid out by the city government’s website: Community members who are interested in applying for the West Hollywood Pilot for Guaranteed Income must reside in the City of West Hollywood, be 50 years or older, identify as LGBTQIA, and have an individual income of $41,400 or less. So if you are straight, if you are not a member of LGBTQIA (and I have no idea what half those letters mean), you should not bother to apply “to receive unconditional monthly $1,000 payments from April 2022 through September 2023.”CORRECTION*

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen warned that Americans should expect to continue paying increased prices on everyday goods for the next year, offering a reversal from her previous forecast that record-high inflation would soon subside. The main culprit, she told CNBC’s “Closing Bell” on Thursday, was Russia’s war against Ukraine.
Ms. Yellen‘s claim that Russian President Vladimir Putin is to blame for America’s inflation woes echoes that of the Biden administration writ large, which has received criticism for dubbing the phrase “Putin’s price hike.” “I think there’s a lot of uncertainty that is related to what’s going on with Russia in Ukraine,” Ms. Yellen said on the network.

The suspect busted in the hate-fueled hammer attack on an Asian man in a Manhattan train station is a known “transit offender” with nearly four dozen prior arrests, cops and police sources said Thursday. Christian Jeffers, 48, who identifies as a woman, was picked up shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday—about 17 hours after she allegedly attacked the 29-year-old male victim at the 14th Street 1/2/3 station Tuesday, police said. Jeffers was charged with assault, aggravated harassment and menacing—all as hate crimes—and criminal possession of a weapon, authorities said. Her arraignment was pending Thursday. Prior to that bust, she was arrested 47 times,

The University of Michigan’s diversity, equity, and inclusion lead accidentally sent an email to students “committing” to advancing anti-Semitism, according to email correspondence reviewed by the Daily Caller.
In an email to students, Vice Provost for Equity and Inclusion Robert Sellers listed goals for the university’s culture to strive towards in light of the university achieving phase one of its five-year DEI strategic plan. Accidentally included in that list was the word “anti-Semitism.”

The Southern Poverty Law Center found hate groups in every corner of America but the most were in California and Florida, according to the center’s new “Hate Map.” The SPLC maps the locations of what it calls “active hate and anti-government extremist groups” and managed to lump in the conservative-leaning American College of Pediatricians in Florida with various Ku Klux Klan and neo-Nazi organizations. The group said that last year, the hard-right movement “has worked feverishly to undermine democracy, with real-world consequences for the people and groups they target.” It also pointed to new election laws in Republican-run states and opposition to teaching critical race

Russia widened its military attacks in Ukraine on Friday, striking in some major western locations for the first time amid ongoing peace talks that have failed to produce any meaningful results. The new Russian airstrikes started just before dawn as Moscow's military rained bombs on some locations, Ukraine's Emergency Service said. Two boiler houses were shut in Lutsk, near the Poland border, while significant explosions were reported in the western city of Ivano-Frankivsk. Dnipro, in central Ukraine, also faced Russian rockets. "Dnipro is also under attack," Mykhailo Podoliak, an adviser in Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's office, said on Friday, according

The flu shot used during the 2021 to 2022 virus season was a poor match and did little to prevent circulation, a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report finds. Researchers found that the vaccine only reduced the number of mild influenza by 16 percent, which they do not consider statistically significant. The flu strain that struck America this year was of the H3N2 strain, one of the more dangerous versions of the virus, and the shot was not tailored to the specific version of the virus that ended up emerging. Experts had warned of a brutal flu season this year for months leading up to it,

For months, defense attorneys representing the men accused of conspiring to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer in 2020 have built a convincing case of FBI entrapment, filing dozens of motions in federal court detailing how the government concocted the plot with at least a dozen FBI undercover agents and informants.
But District Court Judge Robert Jonker wanted to delay presenting that trove of evidence at trial for as long as possible. (Snip)
Jonker’s plan, however, didn’t make it past the first morning break.
After it became clear during opening statements that the defense could not argue their case without explaining the deep involvement of the FBI’s confidential human sources, Jonker reversed his ruling,

The 28-year-old AOC-backed candidate facing a run-off against centrist Democrat Rep. Henry Cuellar had a long-term affair with her former high school teacher, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
Jessica Cisneros was in a sexual relationship with educator-turned-lawyer John Balli, now 51, and called him 'babe' in a 2011 text professing her love when she was 18 — and he was 41. The ultra-liberal would-be Congresswoman began a sexual relationship with him after he began dating his future second wife Sandra Ramirez in May 2011. But the secret lovers had a painful split when Balli and Ramirez wed in July 2011.

"Well, you all imagined it," Vice President Kamala Harris commented during a so-called clean-transit event, where she appeared with her fellow tautologist, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg. "That's why we're here today -- because we have the ability to see what can be, unburdened by what has been, and then to make the possible actually happen."
When Harris and Transportation Secretary Pete get together, it's Platitudicon. As it was this week, when, as the reality of imminent historic gas price spikes was hitting Americans, the duo spent the day promoting electric cars, the Green New Deal and the Environmental Protection Agency's soon-to-be-tightened emissions standards.

Yes, it's satisfactory until you think about what she said. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is truly the best team player you could ask for in these situations. You can't polish a tyrd, but she'll try. She might even try to add a coat of turtle wax to it. The tyrd is Joe Biden and his agenda, which has set the Democrats on fire for the 2022 midterms. There's no relief in sight. There is no Build Back Better. It's dead. The filibuster isn't changing. The Democrats' bill that would tilt all elections in their favor, which is disguised as a "voting rights" bill, is dead as well.

Tom Bevan at RealClearPolitics shared on Twitter a local horror story from the Chicago area. His fifth grader came home from school with a vocabulary assignment in science class. The words included "transgender," cisgender," "nonbinary" and "consent."
The last word carries the most irony -- because the educational elite in this country isn't interested in the consent of the governed. Resistance to LGBT indoctrination in our public grade schools is not recognized as part of a democratic, governing process. Just like the cause of critical race theory, the parents are not simply irrelevant; they are seen as an impediment to essential progress.
The other words sound ridiculous in a science class.

Jussie Smollett, who faked a hate crime against himself in Chicago, was sentenced Thursday. Smollett was found guilty back in December, after he conspired with two men to make it seem as if Trump supporters had attacked him and tied a noose around his neck at 2:00 AM, in the middle of a polar vortex.
While he received an initial outpouring of support, including from Vice President Kamala Harris, it quickly became apparent that his story wasn’t adding up. Why was he out after midnight getting a sandwich in sub-zero temperatures? Why didn’t he call the police right away? Why did he leave the noose on until police got there?

While running for president, Barack Obama said electricity prices will “necessarily skyrocket” under his energy plan. As gasoline reaches unaffordable heights for many Americans, never forget that the Democratic Party wants to inflict painful energy costs on the country. It’s in its political DNA.
As of Thursday, the average U.S. price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $4.32, the highest ever recorded in this country. A month ago, it was $3.48. A year ago, about six weeks after Joe Biden took the oath of office, it was $2.82.
Recent projections that the U.S. average would peak at $4.25 a gallon

Hudson was joined by Reps. Victoria Spartz (R-IN) and Elise Stefanik (R-NY) in introducing the American Ammo in Defense of Ukraine Act.
Hudson said, “In the face of Russia’s invasion, Ukrainian President Zelensky announced he ‘needed ammunition, not a ride.’ The American Ammo in Defense of Ukraine Act will do just that by cutting red tape to ensure American ammunition can reach Ukraine faster…America must support Ukraine’s self-defense and I appreciate Congresswoman Spartz and our colleagues for joining this commonsense bill.”

Kim Foxx, who achieved her position as Cook County State’s Attorney (i.e., the Chicago DA), has written an opinion piece that’s ostensibly about Jussie Smollett’s case.(snip)That entire story is obviously a black mark against AG Foxx. Therefore, she took to the pages of the Chicago Sun-Times to give her version of the Smollett story. And that’s where you find out that the abuse of city resources wasn’t Smollett’s self-aggrandizing hoax. Instead, the abuse was the Smollett trial, which came about because people who hate Black women prosecutors wanted to humiliate her as they’ve been doing across America to other female Black prosecutors:

A completely new or alternative meaning to don’t ask, don’t tell might perhaps now be in effect in a Dallas-area school district.
Some teachers or other employees (a.k.a. guardians) are allowed to have guns on campus in the 1,100-student Grand Saline Independent School District under a concealed carry program the school board calls the Guardian Plan that is just in week two of implementation. It is designed to provide a safe and secure environment for students, as the superintendent outlined in a Facebook post.
“No one knows which teachers or staff members are armed — and [Superintendent Micah] Lewis says that’s intentional.

The national average price for diesel fuel on Wednesday reached an all-time record high, impacting 3.5 million American truckers throughout the nation.
Rising 84 cents in one week, Wednesday’s national average hit $4.883, up 13 cents overnight, according to AAA.
Diesel transports about 70 percent of the nation’s freight tonnage, as just about all highway trucks are fueled by diesel engines, according to Diesel Technology Forum. About 3.5 million truck drivers and 711,000 trucking companies rely on diesel.
The record-high diesel prices will likely increase the cost of everyday products, such as clothing, produce, paper products, building materials, and vehicles.
The impact on everyday items will also increase the record-high inflation.

Former President Donald Trump warned that nefarious global actors like Chinese autocrat Xi Jinping are watching the Biden administration's response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, further suggesting that their preparations were not sufficient to ward off such a crisis. In an exclusive interview with "Hannity," Trump said none of the bloodshed Putin is exacting on Ukrainian civilians would happen if he were still in office."It's so sad because this would have never happened. If we had the Trump administration, there was no chance that this would happen. And I know [Putin] well, and this was not something that was going to happen at all," he said.

When President Biden was inaugurated, the average price of regular gasoline in the U.S. was $2.38. A little over a year later, the price has reached a record high of $4.32. Attempts by the White House to blame this increase on Vladimir Putin notwithstanding, the price had already risen to $3.53 before Russia invaded Ukraine. The problem is obviously the direct result of Biden’s irresponsible energy policies. During his first few weeks in office he issued a series of executive orders for the explicit purpose of discouraging domestic energy production — while demand for fuel was rapidly increasing. The inevitable result has been stratospheric gas prices.
