Latest flu vaccine was INEFFECTIVE during
the 2021-2022 season and was deemed a
'poor match' to the strain, CDC report finds

The flu shot used during the 2021 to 2022 virus season was a poor match and did little to prevent circulation, a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report finds. Researchers found that the vaccine only reduced the number of mild influenza by 16 percent, which they do not consider statistically significant. The flu strain that struck America this year was of the H3N2 strain, one of the more dangerous versions of the virus, and the shot was not tailored to the specific version of the virus that ended up emerging. Experts had warned of a brutal flu season this year for months leading up to it,

Comments:

The flu shot works as well as the Cononavirus shot, so governments should require it as a condition to employment, and to attending schools and entering public venues.

Nice to know now that I experienced 6 weeks of excruciating and agonizing pain in my arm after getting this non-vaccine vaccine. Never had such a reaction before. Wonder if that Covid Non vaccine vaccine got had anything to do with it?

I've read that even in good years, the flu shot is only 20-30% effective which explains why I've gotten flu in spite of being vaccinated. Usually, the explanation from my doctor is "this strain wasn't in the flu shot." I expect I'll be more skeptical of flu shots from now on.

So this is the pivot back to the flu. Since the flu shot “didn’t work”, the positive Covid test results we are seeing now were caused by the flu virus, not Covid. See this was one of the more “dangerous versions” of the flu virus, so now deaths are from the FLU. CDC needs defunded ASAP.

I got my yearly flu shot at the VA, and so far, I haven't gotten the flu. Normal precautions, like washing your hands, etc., have been working this year, like they seem to work every year. Not getting the 'jab' may be working in my favor also.

That was 100% predictable. The 2021/2022 concoction was based on 2019 data. Every other year's blend was based on the prior years data so to an extent it will always be a bit out of date but not by two years. Since there was insufficient data to draw on from 2020 we are two years remote from the data used to formulate this seasons juice. Draw your conclusions regarding decisions to get or not get the flu shot on other years. This season is not a reasonable representation.

A first person reply; About ten years ago now, I got a Flu shot and was very sick three different times. Never had a flu shot since and never was the recipient of getting a virus. Got two Moderna shots to get on a plane and they never asked me if I had received A shot let alone two. No repercussions but I do wish I never got them as I kind of knew that if I did get the virus I would just stay in bed for three days and I would have been fine. This is what my chiropractor did when he got the virus, and is OK now. Now to No. 14; Did you ever have the shingles? I did, about 57 years ago and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I've received both the first go-round and the last, the shingrix because I will do anything not to have the shingles again. Just my experience in all of this.

At age 67 I have had one flu shot. It was a raging flu more than 20 years ago, and it was late enough in the year that they had declared it to be a good match that time. I regret it. Be very careful what concoction from the CDC you allow into your blood stream folks!!! And be careful how ugly you treat a "pure blood" relative or friend who refused the covid shots....they might be the one taking care of you when your immune system starts napping.

So what's new? The annual flu vaccine is always a less than great match. It's not like a flu virus can't mutate. The vaccines should be promoted to seniors and the more vulnerable part of the population. If you a healthy and want to just suffer the flu then don't take the vaccine. Same for the Wuhan flu.

Got the flu vax. I did not get the jab. This is what i advocate: wash your hands every opportunity, otherwise use hand sanitizer. DON'T touch your face, especially nose and eyes... germs find easiest access to your body that way. We take vitamin D, and extra if exposed. And vitamin C, again taking a lot more if exposed or if not feeling tip-top. A buffered C won't upset stomach. I was dealing with a sore throat and swollen glands a couple of Whether flu or cold or covid-like thingy, one thing we can always do is wash hands and do not touch face; cough or sneeze into your elbow (i sometimes do so into my coat or jacket, if necessary) not hands. For many Americans, March 11, 2020 is the day the coronavirus started to feel like a real pandemic, as our elected officials rushed to respond to the crisis. This is true often by substantial margins: 42% feel less secure about voicing their opinions, 43% feel less secure about their freedom to protest, 36% feel less secure about their freedom to
