UTAH – It’s no secret that Utah is growing, and many say that Californians are to blame. According to data from the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute at the University of Utah, our state saw a population growth rate of 1.8% between 2020 and 2021, which is the highest since 2017. This averages out to about 160 residents per day, Emily Harris, the Gardner Institute’s senior demographer, said in a press statement. According to a June 2021 report published by Harris, California is bringing the most domestic in-migrants to Utah, accounting for a whopping 16.6%. Dave Anderton, communications director at

Too bad, they'll ruin the once beautiful state of Utah & turn it into a garbage dump - that what they do because they're so progressive & so smart. They can't understand why California turned into crime ridden, homeless tax crazy dictatorship. Gee, I wonder why?

Gonna ruin Utah, too, seems likely. If Utah is lucky, it is the conservatives moving there, not the fruits and nuts.

As housing prices continue to spike, national

The housing shortage has forced many potential buyers to move into rental properties as they look for their next home (and often find themselves on the wrong side of a bidding war). That option, however, is becoming increasingly expensive. Rent prices jumped 12% last year for a median one-bedroom apartment, hitting an all-time high, according to Zumper, the nation’s third largest real estate platform. A median two-bedroom apartment saw rent prices jump more than 14%. The median price for a one-bedroom rent reached $1,374 in January. The median price of a two-bedroom apartment reached $1,698. The news comes as the

NOVI YARYLOVYCHI BORDER CROSSING, Ukraine — On the other side of this border in northern Ukraine, not visible through the thick pine and birch forests that crowd the E-95 highway but noticeable to passing truckers, a force is gathering in Belarus more potent than anything seen in the country since the fall of the Soviet Union, officials and military analysts say. Russia has deployed tanks and artillery, fighter jets and helicopters, advanced rocket systems and troops by the thousands all across Belarus, augmenting a fighting force that will soon envelope Ukraine like a horseshoe on three sides. A Pittsburgh bridge collapsed early Friday, according to authorities, just hours before President Biden was scheduled to visit the city to talk about infrastructure. No injuries were immediately reported, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety, which reported a “confirmed bridge collapse” at around 6:50 a.m. A photo from KDKA shows at least four vehicles, including a Port Authority bus, on the bridge near Forbes and Braddock avenues, which splits the Point Breeze, Regent Square and Squirrel Hill neighborhoods of Pittsburgh. Natural-gas futures tallied their largest one-day percentage gain on record Thursday, up more than 46%, with the rally fueled by the expiration of the February contracts, and a “classic” short squeeze as a winter storm looms in the Northeast. “This is why it’s so dangerous to be short natural gas in the winter,” said Phil Flynn, senior market analyst at The Price Futures Group. “It’s especially dangerous to be short at a time when the expiration is right around the corner.” February natural gas climbed $1.99, or 46.5%, to settle at $6.265 per million British thermal units on Thursday. President Joe Biden’s approval rating has fallen off a cliff in Georgia, according to an Atlanta Journal-Constitution poll released Thursday that showed just one-third of registered voters approve of the Democrat’s job performance. That’s a sharp decline from the 51% of voters who gave Biden high marks in the AJC’s May poll. And it’s a troubling sign for Democrats eager to build off their victories in the last election, which ended with a narrow Biden victory and a Democratic sweep of U.S. Senate runoffs. The poll also found Gov. Brian Kemp ahead of Democrat Stacey Abrams in an early test

SAN FRANCISCO — California State University, the largest-four year university system in the country, is poised to eliminate SAT and ACT standardized tests from its undergraduate admissions process, following a trend in higher education over concerns that the exams are unfair to minority and low-income students. The Board of Trustees for the 23-campus CSU system will vote in March on recommendations to end the testing requirements, which were presented at a meeting Wednesday and met with widespread enthusiasm. Joe Biden had been president for just three months, but Demand Justice was anxious. The influential, courts-focused progressive organization wanted Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer to step away so Biden could fill the seat with someone younger who could serve for decades to come. The Biden administration has canceled two leases near Minnesota’s Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness — a remote, lake-pocked region at the center of a blistering fight over whether to mine near one of the nation’s most popular wilderness destinations. On Wednesday, the Interior Department said it found that the leases to extract copper, nickel and other valuable hardrock minerals in northern Minnesota were improperly renewed under Donald Trump. The Biden administration’s decision will help protect the hundreds of lakes, streams and wetlands in the 1.1 million-acre wilderness area hugging the Canadian border from the potential toxic leaching from mining.

After more than a year in office, President Joe Biden has still not nominated someone to be the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine. The leadership gap has been highlighted amid growing concerns of a Russian invasion of the U.S. ally, but experts told Newsweek that not having a Senate-confirmed ambassador is more of a perception issue than a significant problem for the administration. One of the main tenants for a stable and law-abiding society is a judicial system that enforces laws and ensures equal justice for all.The reverse is true in progressive cities, resulting in an increase in crime. Various government organizations, even all the way up to the Department of Justice, have gone astray. Social justice warriors are now in positions in the DOJ to implement “racial justice”, which determines how to prosecute cases based on the race and/or social justice cause, not commensurate with the crimes committed.A perfect example can be seen in a murder committed by a BLM arsonist.

At a critical point in the 1980 campaign, Ronald Reagan had enough and cleaned house of his senior political advisors including campaign manager John Sears. One staffer would later recall, “Ronald Reagan would not have come so close in 1976 had he not hired John Sears; and Ronald Reagan would not have won the GOP nomination had he not fired John Sears in 1980.” As it does on so many occasions, history repeats itself. Like Reagan before him, Donald Trump now must clean house if he hopes to make a serious political comeback. Trump’s 2016 win was mostly of his own doing. Being the outsider candidate that he was,
