Getting old is neither easy nor fun. It’s part of life, and it’s a challenge we all must face. One key aspect of that challenge is being able to stay current. We must strive to not only understand the changes affecting our families, our individual health, and our own spheres of influence, but we must also work to grasp the realities of an ever-changing society. Neil Young is a 76-year-old singer/songwriter and, based on his sparse musical output over the past few decades, his recent focus has not been on producing compelling, appealing music. And after what we witnessed this week, it’s also safe to say that Mr. Young

Comments:

"It's better to burn out, than it is to rust." Please, just go away Neil.

If a conservative doesn't like a blogger, he or she doesn't listen to the blogger. We may call them (well-deserved) names, but we don't demand that they be silenced. Heck, if anything, we want them to keep talking so that everyone can see just how evil and illogical lie-berals truly are. If a lie-beral doesn't like a blogger, they demand that the blogger be destroyed and silenced. How very fascist of them!!!

I know how to play more Neil Young songs on the guitar than those of any other artist; however, if he thought Spotify would jettison Joe Rogan, in order to keep ~him~ on the platform, demonstrates a sense of self-importance that would have been unjustified fifty years ago, never mind today. Online music isn’t Hollywood or the Academy—its purveyors actually care about making a buck, not moral preening.

He is really making a fool of himself. First he threatened Spotify, wanted his songs removed. Then he backpedaled. Now he is urging others to have their songs removed. Now it seems that he sold at least a 50% interest in his songs to someone, so he is not the sole owner. Maybe Zhou Biden isn’t the only senile Dem Liberal out there?

It's amusing to remember that Young was a significant part of the brain-dead 60's-70's Rock era that warned us all that threats to our freedoms would come from the political right. Didn't quite work out that way, did it?

He is initiating a boycott, not a protest, and what he is doing may just be illegal. Coercing a company to take away a man's income is not just a simple protest.

@#2 - If Neil is conservative, he's done a great job of hiding it. I've never heard him put forth a single conservative thought. In fact, it seems about every 5 years there is something he feels he needs to publicly bellyache about.

Thanks everyone that posted names of songs (?) he's done. I don't recognize any of them, and I don't believe I've missed anything. I'm a 50's/60's and a few 70's person. I liked maybe 3 Meatloaf songs, I've got a couple of Janis Joplin albums but the rest of my 3 or 4 hundred CD's and LP's are old classic country or old classic rock and roll! I'm 79 so if I've lasted this long without hearing him, I'll make it to the end without hearing him.

His father, David Ferguson, said his son — who is fighting for his life in the hospital and is in desperate need of the transplant — doesn’t believe in the COVID-19 vaccine. “It’s kind of against his basic principles, he doesn’t believe in it.

Last week, I wrote about Resistance excitement over a claim that Republicans "forged" phony Electoral College documents in an attempt to fool the world into thinking President Donald Trump won the 2020 election. It turned out there was much less to the story than met the eye. Now there is another seemingly sensational story about the period when Trump was still in office and refusing to accept the results of the election. Last Friday, Politico published an article headlined, "Read the never-issued Trump order that would have seized voting machines." The piece included the text of a White House "draft executive order,"

Once again, we had several candidates for the week’s top knucklehead, with the primary competition coming from our esteemed Commander-in-Chief once again. President Joe Biden had a press conference for the ages on Wednesday and seemed hellbent on being named KOTW for the second consecutive week, something that has never happened. With Biden’s buffoonery becoming tiresome – and with the possibility of simply declaring Biden as Knucklehead of the Century and being done with it – we decided to honor Sleepy Joe with just an Honorable Mention this week, and to opt instead for some misguided college kids.

Los Angeles’ top prosecutor has been ripped for putting the public at risk with his soft-on-crime approach after two women were killed allegedly at the hands of homeless men in the last week. Longtime prosecutor Jon Hatami told Fox News on Tuesday that LA District Attorney George Gascon — and other progressive prosecutors across the country — needed to be voted out. “Nobody should have a district attorney who refuses to file charges against murderers and rapists and child abusers to the fullest extent of the law. That person does not deserve to be the DA,” said Hatami, a fellow LA prosecutor.

Slightly fewer, 23 per cent, said they weren't sure, with 51 per cent saying democracy was in danger of extinction. The result comes after President Joe Biden spoke about the Capitol riot

On a regular basis, we receive comments and feedback from readers questioning the wisdom of not honoring President Joseph R. Biden as that week’s top knucklehead. Our responses generally include some variation of this statement: We could justify Biden being KOTW every week, but we have to change things up a bit. However, there are other weeks in which Biden outdoes himself by putting on such an impressive display of buffoonery that we simply can’t ignore him. Such was the case this week. Winner: Joe Biden’s presidency is disintegrating before our eyes, but the president is clueless as ever.

Social justice warriors are now in positions in the DOJ to implement “racial justice”, which determines how to prosecute cases based on the race and/or social justice cause, not commensurate with the crimes committed.A perfect example can be seen in a murder committed by a BLM arsonist.
