A 16-year-old, up-and-coming rapper charged with shooting an NYPD cop in the Bronx walked free on bond Thursday—and cops are fuming over it. Camrin Williams, who is also known by the rap name C Blu, posted his $250,000 bond after being locked up at a Brooklyn juvenile facility on gun and assault charges in the shooting of a 27-year-old cop in Belmont. “If anybody wants to know why we have a crisis of violence in this city, or why we’re about to bury two hero police officers, look no further than this disgraceful bail release,” NYPD Police Benevolent Association President Patrick Lynch said

The Wild West ain't got nothing on NYC.
Could not pay me to go there now! I hate I missed my chance when Giuliani was mayor. He knew how to run a big city!

Poorly worded headline. Why was the NYPD cop out on bond? What had he done?

We can’t interfere with the young man’s rap career, can we? Of course a stint in prison could increase his bad-ass rep. Why does anyone live in NYC, or California for that matter.

What's the over and under in number of days that Camrin will kill a law enforcement officer? Tell us Eric Gonzalez, give us a hint. You have told us how much a NYC police officer's life is worth - $15K. That's the amount of money that was required to secure his $200K bond. The sound you hear is not the sound of Law and Order but the strangling, gurgling sound of NYC civil society slowly circling the drain. The next sound will be the alarm from NYC's life monitor. Hey Eric, you are the Borough President. Are you there?

Time for the other cops to follow this punk around until he does something stupid. Repeat as needed.

Shoot a cop, then walk free. That's the demonrat's idea of justice. Now, they refuse to amend that stupid, idiotic no bail law, which helps every criminal in sight.

This is the new norm in NYC. I see that Eric Adam's new approach to gun violence is working just fine. Eric is over his head. The NY legislators need to be removed for incompetence and the judges should follow. Bottomline, there is no hope for this city. My advise, stay the h3ll away from NYC. They are more worried if you are vaxed or wearing a mask then gun violence.

"Up and coming (c)rapper." = he is still a do nothing nobody AND a racist, young thug, raised in a fatherless violent and vulgar culture. Betcha every other word out of his entitled punk-azzed mouth is "m***** f*****".

Young punk already on probation is let out? Shouldn't a probation violation like shooting a cop or having an illegal gun keep him in jail? At least the shooting of a cop will be good for his career as a rapper. If he doesn't get shot & killed first.

This kid is going to catch a stray bullet the minute he hits the street again. NYPD is tired taking it on the chin because they have a pu$$y AG.

FTA - 'But in a statement, his attorney, Dawn Florio, said her client will focus on his music.
“Camrin has been released and will be back to his regular productive life of focusing on schoolwork and his music career,” Florio said.'
I suspect he will be dead or in prison for murder before he's 25. That the "productivity" he is most interested in. He's just another feral child who has grown into a predator with a gig.
BTW, does anyone else notice that all these uffull offenders are "aspiring rappers?" When you are nothing to the world I guess aspiring to be a rapper is something. I don't know what, but it must be something.

The wide-smiling mayor and the Woke Soros DA, elected by a wide margin, agree that guns are the problem, not criminals. The gun is in the evidence locker, so what's this cop whining about? Smells like racism to me.
