Interrupting a campaign speech certainly doesn't seem like a way to get an invite into the White House, but that's exactly what a two-year-old short-haired tabby has managed to do. A green-eyed, gray and white farm cat made quite the impression on Jill Biden after jumping up on stage and interrupting her remarks during a 2020 campaign stop in her home state Pennsylvania. Now, President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden have finally welcomed Willow, after speaking of a long-promised cat, to their pet family.

I suppose next they will get a pony.
Something else for the Secret Service and the White House staff to baby sit.

Pretty cat. I hope the new dog doesn't hurt it. The current inhabitants of the White House don't seem to have a good track record with pets.

Years ago, a former coworker called me and asked for advice about getting a cat for his wife who had Alzheimer's. I wonder if this is really a companion for Dementia Joe to try and calm him down. A cat is a lot more calming than a rambunctious dog.
Whatever the reason, I pity the cat.

I'm not inclined to read this fluff. If anyone did, can you give me the reader's digest version of why it took 2 years to adopt the cat??

Yes, the White House needs to reek of ammonia. And it's not like Dementia Joe needs toxoplasmosis on top of everything else rotting his so-called brain.

It took them 2 years to decide to adopt a farm cat?
I find that unlikely. I think thry adopted a cat that LOOKED LIKE the original.
Barn cats don't have a great life expectancy. They encounyer rats, snales racoons, foxes, other feral cats...
This sounds like a wag-the-dog sort of cat-tale.

BS.
After two years? It doesn't take two years to adopt a cat.
Where's the picture of the cat onstage at the rally? You just know there would be one if this story was true.
Maybe they're just fattening it up for their Chinese masters.

Fake news. Humans don't bond with cats. Unless the cat condescends to allow it.

This is done to gain some positive press for 'dr' Jill and sympathy from all the Dem ladies who live alone with their cats. Cats don't bond over 15 minute speeches, and even if this is a farmhouse cat (mainly indoor), the cat's been pulled from a familiar home and people to strangers. I doubt it's the same cat, and if it is, it's cruel. It's just another prop and part of Dementia Joe's therapy.

Oh great, the smell of a litter box to go with the carpets that the dogs have soiled.
I can't blame Jill, if I were married to that vegetable I would prefer sleeping with a cat too.

Years ago I adopted a feral cat from my sister's farm. It wanted to be with her and she had several house cats already so she brought Archie to me as a tiny little thing that scared my 5 year old cat Angus so much that I had to put the kitten in the spare bedroom and bring him out for more time each day until Angus realized that Archie was indeed another cat and they became best buddies.

#23, I have two cats and I use Tidy Cats Breeze pellets in their litter box. For the longest time, I could not find any. I was about to use the pine pellets, but finally they are back on the shelf again. I understand there is a shortage of soft cat food in some areas.

Where has that cat BEEN for the last 2 years???
Psst...Penn is Joe's "Homestate" as well...he NEVER even talks about Delaware, only Pennsylvania. The Biden Family Conglomeration of Corporations is merely based there because of Delawares "Unique" Tax Haven Laws, and he managed to conn the locals into PAYING him to register, not actually reside there. His actual HOME has always been DC.

Sure, she bonded with it. Two years ago? More Biden confabulation - she does it, too. Read Davine’s The Laptop from Hell - you’ll find out she was a lousy stepmother. That she was known for wearing full length fur to a pizza joint. (Where’s marbles when we need her/him?)

Updated headline has, "Welcome, COTUS! Bidens bring a pet CAT named Willow into the White House after Jill bonded with it when it jumped on stage and interrupted her campaign speech in 2020" I suggest that in honor of how Doctor Jill and Vee Pee Harris got to where they are in life, the thing should be designated COITUS.

There is a cat lover’s vote, just as there is a dog lover’s vote, obviously Biden’s handlers are covering both those prospective constituencies.

Biden: "Ron, things are a mess, what should we do?"
Klein: "Time to buy another pet."
Biden: "Another dog?"
Klein: "No, that didn't work last time. Let's go for a cat. The women will love it."
