The White House was handed a much-needed ‘bombshell’ on Wednesday to blow up the narrative that Biden’s presidency is already a failed one.Amid brewing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, soaring inflation, a border crisis, and endless Covid crisis-mongering, Biden desperately needed a distraction. Then Supreme Court Justice Breyer signaled he would soon retire. The New York Times reported the news, which does not make it a lock; but when it comes to progressive affairs, one can bet the grey lady has it right that the announcement is all-but-a-done-deal.While Biden is certain to pick a fire-breathing leftist for the forthcoming vacancy,

One problem with this that in order to appoint Horizontal Komalota to the Supremes she'd first have to resign as VP. The dims then wouldn't have her as a tie breaker on 50 to 50 votes. If it was 50 to 50 on her nomination she couldn't break the tie. There no way even the demoncraps could get away with her voting for herself. Hillary has even more skeltons in the closet that she had 6 years ago.

#6, It’s almost at that point now. If this absurd speculation becomes fact, we are well and truly done as a nation. Having Kamal on the SCOTUS, and Hillary a hair’s width away from the Presidency would be an abomination. I bet just the speculation this article presents has the old gal giddy.

Her nomination would set off shockwaves that the public would see right through this, and revolt at the ballot box come November 2022. This red tidal wave will be a flooding of Noah's Ark proportions, as a reaction to this travesty.

As usual, the Daily Mail has an ambiguous headline.
That being said, I read it differently than posters above.
The “waiting in the wings” reference to Felonia, I understood as a GENERIC wait…. not a potential SCOTUS pick wait.
IOW, After they dispatch GAL, Hillary is waiting in the wings to implement the next step in the Communist plan, which involves her becoming El Presidente.

Besides, Kamala knows she is a heartbeat away from being president and the current president is not in great shape. Hillary is no longer a player. She can play let's pretend all she wants.

Kamala’s seemingly marijuana induced laughter would give new meaning to the High Court. But she will surely refuse the offer since the presidency is just a death or 25th Amendment away. Hey, there are no minor SC justices on Mt Rushmore.
One hopes that the Republican senators on the Judiciary Committee will ask the nominee selected because of her color, and gender why. the SC has ruled against such blatant discrimination. Let her twist in the wind trying to explain why her selection doesn’t violate federal civil rights laws.

#4, Kamala Sutra would not be required to resign as VP prior to the vote. She could vote for herself.
And, #25, when Nixon selected Ford to replace Agnew as VP, I don't remember any congressional hearings on Ford's selection - just a vote. And Ford did not resign from the House before the vote, if my memory serves me.
{Please correct me if I am wrong.)

The perfect chess gambit: (1) Biden nominates Harris for SCOTUS; (2) Harris resigns her position as VP; (3) Senate rejects Harris nomination and Harris vanishes into the ether; (4) Dems nominate a respectable Democrat, if such a Democrat even exists (sorry Hillary, not you)) to replace Harris as VP; (5) respectable Democrat receives Congressional approval and becomes VP; (6) brain-dead Biden is removed under 25th Amendment; (7) respectable Democrat becomes President and keeps Trump's seat warm until he returns to the oval office in 2025.

#29, my comment about Judiciary Committee was on the SC nominee selected by LGB, not VP replacement. I’ve forgotten what Nixon’s replacement for a previous corrupt VP from Maryland, Spiro Agnew, went through. But Gerald Ford was a well liked House member, so his Senate hearing for VP must have been perfunctory.
Speaking of Gerald Ford, will Biden bring back the Whip Inflation Now, WIN, button in a foolish attempt to stop the inflation his policies are causing?

Technically, Kamalala is NOT African American so she does not meet Joe's criteria. She's also not smart or competent. She did her job for the party when she agreed to slither into office with Joe. That's the extent of her capabilities. Now she's a useless boat anchor on a sinking ship.
Besides Hillary licking her Chardonnay-wet lips over the possibility of getting her nasty self back into government, Pelosi is eyeing the VP position as well and that's the only reason she announced she is running for rep again. Either one would be a nightmare because they are both cunning and evil and they know that the length of Joe's presidency will be measured in days, not years.

In the current political environment I wouldn’t dismiss anything as impossible. This does, however, create some problems. Biden promised an affirmative action appointment to the SC and Kamala is not a black woman. Plus she is obviously unqualified and extremely unpopular. Hillary is far from a sure bet. She’s lost 2 Presidential elections and is under criminal investigation. I doubt that the DNC sees her as their savior. It will be interesting.

So, does anybody think that Breyer wasn't pressured to do this retirement? This is the perfect and completely legal opportunity to dump Harris. At least she has some legal experience, far more so than Moochie Obama. And as I recall, both Obamas gave up their law licenses in 2008. The bigger question is, who will be picked as the VP?

#30 has the best possible scenario. But I think the special prosecutor better speed up that investigation and get those charges filed against Hillary and her campaign.
My personal bet is on Stacy Abram's sister being sent to Supreme Court. That would rile up the voters in GA, possibly keeping the Dem senators in place to control the Senate. It all depends on how big a domestic distraction is needed after Biden can't stop Putin. (Gross puns just getting started. The whole situation stinks.)

Sotomayor is of Puerto Rican descent but down there they divide themselves as Negro or Blanco depending upon the mixtures in their ancestry, with one side hating the other, of course. Native Puerto Ricans were white skinned and blonde before the Spanish landed there. Here she is regarded as Hispanic because most people consider all hispanics to be of one race.

Two problems with this scenario, both involving the 50/50 Senate: 1) Harris breaking the tie to make herself a SCOTUS Justice would be a massive conflict of interest. There would be demands, if not a requirement, for her to recuse herself. If she does recuse, then there no tie breaker, and her nomination fails. If she doesn't recuse and votes herself onto SCOTUS, then 2) the tie breaker position becomes vacant, and there's no way the GOP will permit PIAPS to ascend to within an act of Arkancide away from the Oval Office. 50/50 and PIAPS returns to Chappaqua to continue to drink herself into oblivion.

Nominating Harris for SCOTUS would be one sick joke. Having her confirmed (God forbid) would be an extraordinary embarrassment for the country and a big slap in the face to the law profession. There are so many super-smart qualified people out there who have dedicated their lives to the study and practice of law and this is the person they’re considering? I am not sure I believe it. She is nothing more than a politician with obvious extreme bias and I don’t think the American people will stand for it.

It just hit me. In keeping with my view that their plans are always over-thought out and are always way to complicated and too cute by half, try this on. They nominate Harris, she resigns VP to avoid the tie-breaker conflict, Hillary is nominated to VP, they bring up the VP nomination first to install Hillary, there is universal objection to Harris as unqualified, and they withdraw Harris' nomination and go with a current front funner. They have replaced Harris with Hillary for a 2024 rematch.

It should be insulting that the only stated qualifications Biden has for a Supreme Court Justice are skin color and female body parts. Unstated is the third qualification. after the first two are met, is she must be rabid Progressive with contempt for the US Constitution.
If he succeeds, it will fit in nicely with all his other accomplishments, such as, soaring inflation, the abandonment of Afghanistan, senseless Covid mandates and the invasion of of our southern boarder.

I'm not sure Hillary really wants to undergo the hearings for either the Supreme Court or Vice President. Especially if Mitch does one thing that he can do very, very well and that is gum up the hearings processes for judicial nominees. Breyer hasn't officially quit and until he does that (and he's ticked off that the wags in the WH leaked the info), nothing can happen. Maybe Breyer waits until October to formally announce. You know LGB works on the liberal side of the aisle just as well.
Golly gee, we can't have hearings during election season. And then if the GOP wins the majority, well, golly gee, Mitch gets to do what he does so well.

So when the states de-certify the election because of the treasonous overthrow of the Government, does any selection from Joe still is legal. But this is about getting Hillary in so she doesn't have to face Durham. But this needs to happen all before November. I'm sure the Senate can delay this. Stay tuned for a National Emergency or something to expedite the process. But since this was all predicted by Q years ago, I'm sure everything is under control. But we can't be apathetic about the coup. It wasn't cheating it was an overthrow.

62 replies as I sit here typing. This certainly got the juices flowing. Even a few names I haven't seen in a while --- not just the usual suspects! Although fun --- it's a distraction.
Camel-la-la wants the whole enchilada and it's about to fall into her lap. Why step down to SCOTUS? Why should she agree to go through a Senate review? Lord knows what dirty laundry might come up! And what does she get at age 57? A ho-hum job where she might have to work? She sees how easy it is to be POTUS ... never show up, never answer questions, etc. so why can't she do that? This monomaniac envisions herself replacing Jefferson on Mt. Rushmore and SCOTUS ain't going to do that. And as far as getting through the Senate, she wouldn't need to break a tie by voting for herself as several RINOs would no doubt support her if she really did get that far.
Nope ... the magician is moving his left hand to distract you from what he's doing with his right hand! This bull-hockey will occupy the headlines and news for awhile so you don't watch or even notice the bleeding border, the tanking stock market, Putin helping himself to an free country that's a U.N. member, inflation eating your paycheck and savings, etc.
Now ... if they made her an offer she couldn't refuse and her pet dog's head ended up in her bedroom ... well ....

Hillary is the only one that believes she has a chance. Pelosi is another nope. Harris isn't going anywhere, the next in line for a SCOTUS slot is going to be an Obama, Mike or Barry? You pick. If republicans take back both houses of Congress, then I wouldn't mind seeing Hillary as president, just so she can be impeached and removed from office for good.

Que mala was rumored for this quite some time ago. The nightmare scenario was move her to SCOTUS, nominate Hildabeast for VP, get her approved by the senate, and Sleepy Joe resigns. Voila! She has backed into the presidency.
What wasn't factored into this plan was Hilly's impatience. If Sleepy Joe doesn't act promptly, there might be an Arkancide.
BTW who pressured Breyer to resign? He was annoyed and surprised by the announcement before he could speak.

Can someone sue or a federal judge stop this process because the court appointment should be the most qualified person and not one assigned because of affirmative action? It could tie this up until after the election.

What about Michelle Obama in the Supreme Court? I could see Biden and Barry wanting that.
