Open fires burning on the street. Dangerous vagrants. Fear after dark. This is life these days in Soho—one of Manhattan’s ritziest neighborhoods, with home costs that soar into the millions. Late Wednesday night, video emerged of an open fire burning on Canal Street, and people who live and work in the neighborhood told The Post that crime and chaos has gotten so far out of control, they no longer feel safe.(Snip)The Post spoke with a half-dozen New Yorkers who live and work in Soho who all said there is a noticeable change in the neighborhood compared to a few years ago.

YOU bought it. YOU own it now. Not so easy being altruistic when it's your neighborhood going up like a match.

East Coast and West Coast city dwellers always considered themselves suave and sophisticated living such cultured lives in their cities, away from us red neck riff raff who live in uncultured fly over country. Now, they live in squalid conditions that make Calcutta and the slums of Rio look like Utopia. Those slums are also probably safer. Fly over country doesn't look so bad any more, does it?

" ... they no longer feel safe"? Not too bright voting for Cuomo and De Blasio unless you can live with the crime, afford higher taxes and employ private security to protect yourself.
The Big Apple has become rotten to the core because of YOU.
YOU own it.

I gotta laugh at these a#@holes that elect to live in a sewer, repeatedly vote for the sewer wardens, and then expect protection from their idiotic decisions.

#3, don't give them any ideas. Big cities are the greatest! The glitz, the glamor, and the shopping and dining, not to mention rubbing elbows with the beautiful people.

Well, if I lived there and EVER voter demorat, I would get the largest portrait of George Soros I could find, place it in the center of your largest room, build a shrine around it and grovel pitifully in front of it and whine that your worthless life is somehow worth more than the poor innocents who have already suffered at the hands of YOUR vicious mob because of your previous, idiotic votes. Suck it up, comrade.
