Energy prices exploded in 2021, and 2022 may bring a repeat unless the Biden administration changes its anti-fossil fuel agenda. Canceled pipelines and drilling moratoriums have created a toxic environment for U.S. oil and gas investment. Because of this, the U.S. will be undersupplied in the new year unless the omicron variant shuts us down or if rising costs drive the economy into a recession. If these shadows of our current energy policy remain unaltered, then oil prices should surge to just shy of $100 a barrel next year.
While traveling this holiday, I saw the Ole Joe ‘I did this!’ sticker on almost every gas pump I used…

The pResident and 1st dr look very comfortable in the White House, wonder if it is heated by solar or wind, if not, why not?
Waiting for Kerry to fly his plane without jet fuel, flapping his mouth won't help.

And since oil prices factor into the cost of almost every thing we purchase, inflation will remain high and move even higher in 2022. Mr. Potato Head has us back in 1979 all over again, and there is no Ronald Reagan on the horizon to aggressively beat down inflation this time. It took Reagan and Voelker almost three years to return things to normal after Carter.

Remember when the U.S. retook its old position as the world's leading producer, midway through PDJT's 1st term? The price per-barrel took a precipitous nosedive, falling to about 20 bucks a barrel in May 2020. (Didn't it even go below 0 for a brief time?)
Now the price is almost back up to the record high levels (around 170 bucks a barrel) reached in June 2008, which was during Dubya's second term (but around the time Barry, campaigning for POTUS, declared his intention to put oil and coal out of business through price pressure).

(I say PDJT's 1st term, because I still have hope that he'll retake the White House in 2024...)

When the prices spike to over $100.00 per barrel the Biden administration and his media allies will blame the evil corporations and Republicans. The Democrat media allies will repeat the Biden talking points knowing all along that they are not reporting the truth.

But - - but - - but - - the price of a gallon of gasoline went down 0.008¢ last week. Shouldn't Despicable Joe get credit for that?

Just remember, every government vehicle, which would be Federal, State, County, City and town, and would need to include the many vehicles used by our fine military units, spend money on fuels too.
I do recall back in the obama admin, that the sudden jump in oil resulted in an unplanned increase of $3 billion just for fuel in 1 fiscal year.
You sure don't see China, Russia or India too worried about climate change do you?

The INTENT is to make it impossible to afford to drive gasoline powered autos, or heart your home with oil.

All that stuff in the big box stores and grocery stores and convenience stores is shipped using gasoline driven trucks. When gas prices go up because demand is intentionally limited, the price of all that stuff being shipped to stores goes up. See how that works?

Joe doesnt have to buy gas and cares less how much it costs. Besides him and Hunter have untold millions stashed away so even if he did have to fill up it doesn’t matter. He can afford it no problem.
