President Joe Biden on Monday admitted that his administration has not done enough to ease the COVID testing demand, vowing to do better. 'That's not enough. Clearly not enough,' Biden said, adding: 'We have to do more. We have to do better. And we will.' Biden told the governors - a mix of Republicans and Democrats - that there was 'no federal solution' to the Omicron variant causing cases to spike around the country, saying the solution was solidly on 'state level.'

Comments:

Comrade Potato Head punts to the states, since he and his little buddy St. Fauci have not been able to eradicate COVID as promised.

They didn't order the tests 2 months ago because they want to create a Covid database and collect DNA swabs. That it negatively impacts WTP is completely irrelevant to them. The more pain and inconvenience they cause for us, the happier they are! Sadists...all of them!

Wish he would admit he lied about the shot. First, it is not a vaccine. It is an inoculation. Then admit that it does not prevent catching covid or transmitting covid. It can offer limited protection. Then recognize natural immunity for those who have recovered from covid. Admit that the studies show masks are basically useless and children should not be subjected to them without parental consent. And the biggest mea culpa? Insisting that American citizens MUST put any medication into their bodies against their will. America, don't hold your breath. The dems have wed themselves to the covid porn pushers and support their nefarious plan of control.

Testing, schmesting… What a joke to see those lemmings signed up for testing. If they test positive, what will they do with that information? Can they really trust it? If they test negative, will someone sneeze near them and - voila! - infected. Are they all Democrats? Dr. Makary, Johns Hopkins, says they should be counting hospitalizations. Not “cases” - i. e., positive tests.

There is far too much testing. The tests aren't reliable and even if your negative, ten minutes later you could test positive. Test only those with clear symptoms. Testing people who look and feel fine is a waste of time.

COVID-19 has been used for political purposes. When we are constantly lied to using words like "follow the science," an implosion of those in power is likely. And that is what we are seeing now in the Biden administration. Had there been humility -- rather than Fauci-ism -- then folks would see things differently. For example, "there is some evidence that suggests masks help lessen the spread of covid" is far different from "wearing masks save lives and not wearing them kills people." The first comes from a place of humility and serious advice (if it is accurate); the second, comes from arrogance and an attempt to control. Then we have Fauci who has taken more positions than an actor playing a role in a porn film. I mean he's been everywhere in every position. Like the porn actor, I suppose it makes him feel good. But these versions of "follow the science" are insulting to people who want to look at real data and make decisions. I believe more folks would get vaxxed if these idiots weren't so damned arrogant.

So, does vaccine stop Covid from spreading? Do masks stop Covid from spreading, Has quarantining stopped the spread? Do test-at-home tests stop the spread of Covid. There was a pandemic, but now, its virulence is spent. Now, and from henceforth, the faux pandemic will continue to be spread by the government and media.

Biden claims that there is no federal solution for Covid. He did not feel this way during the election. No matter what Donald Trump did for Covid, it was not good enough. Biden was upset that Trump was not doing enough for testing, not enough for vaccinations, not enough of anything. Never mind that Covid was new and there were no tests, no vaccines, no nothing known about Covid so everything had to be developed from scratch. Once things got up and running, like Operation Warp Speed, Trump took care of things. Biden has now had the advantage of 2 years of Covid knowledge and advancements in testing and vaccines. One would think that there is NO EXCUSE for being short on Covid tests, no preventative medications allowed, and dependence on vaccines (that don't work) only for prevention of Covid. Biden's actions have been a total failure.

China, under fire for approving new coal power stations as other countries try to curb greenhouse gases, has completed the first 1,000-megawatt unit of the Shanghaimiao plant, the biggest of its kind under construction in the country. Located in Ordos in the coal-rich northwestern region of Inner Mongolia, the plant will eventually have four generating units, and is designed to deliver power to the eastern coastal Shandong province via a long-distance ultra-high voltage grid. China is responsible for more than half of global coal-fired power generation and is expected to see a 9% year-on-year increase in 2021, an International Energy Agency report published this month said.  CORRECTION*

Inflation is surging out of control due to ongoing reckless federal fiscal and monetary policy. This month, the Bureau of Labor Statistics announced that consumer prices rose by 6.8% over the past year, a near 40-year high. Last week, it reported that producer prices rose by a record 9.6%. This high inflation has resulted in falling real wages for ordinary Americans and declining living standards. A new analysis by the Penn Wharton Budget Model concludes surging inflation will cost ordinary American households $3,500 this year. Call it “the Biden pay cut.”

A fifth fewer people were tested for the virus in the last 24 hours compared to the same period last week, but test positivity — the proportion of those tested who are infected — has been trending downwards for nine days.

It also marks a victory for criminal justice advocacy groups who have fiercely lobbied the department and the White House to take steps to ensure that law-abiding, low-level inmates would not be forced back into prison.
