Fired CNN host Chris Cuomo is set to sue the network if it balks at paying him at least $18 million to cover what’s left on his contract, sources told The Post on Monday.
Cuomo, 51, has hired lawyers and is preparing to file the lawsuit over the remainder of the four-year contract he signed last year — after a bitter back-and-forth about what the network knew of his secret efforts to aid his embattled brother, then-Gov. Andrew Cuomo, said sources familiar with the matter.
His contract was reportedly worth $6 million annually, leaving between $18 million and $20 million that he would be owed

It's always fun to watch the left eating each other. With new management (Malone?) CNN might return to semi-biased reporting from the democratic mouthpiece it currently is. I'll go with CNN for a win. Why didn't Fredo take the ethical path and recuse himself from any coverage or assistance to his brother Handsy Soprano?

Gee? Is there a way that BOTH SIDES could lose?
Reminds me of a story a lawyer friend told me. Every time, he'd have a case in front of this old, wise judge, the judge would have a conference with the defendant and the plantiff and their lawyers. Of course, the lawyers knew the story was coming, but, the judge would refer to a ceramic cow on his desk.
Now you, Mr. Defendant, you've got this cow by the neck, pulling it as hard as you can. And you, Mr. Plantiff, you're holding the cow by the tail, pulling it as hard as you can. Just remember, while the two of you are pulling on the cow, your lawyers are there milking it dry.
This is one case where I sure would like to see a very dry cow.

Any harm to CNN or Fredo is a win for the country.

Wonder if Trump could interject himself into this thing since the Cuomo Brothers and CNN all lied and collided and worked against Trump his whole term, and really cranked it up with the 2020 campaign. And Covid played a big part. Discovery could be a Yuuuuugee popcorn party...

As per Paul Simon (not on of my favorite people but the Graceland album nailed it) and this works too ...
Mama Cuomo got outta bed and she ran to the POLICE Station ...
And his Papa said OY If they get that boy they're gonna put him in the House of Detention.
It was against the law, It was against the law.
What your Mama saw .. it was against the law.
Bet when the kids come home for dinner Mama gets Grub Hub from Olive Garden or Chef Boy RD.

I hope the lawyers are the only ones who make any money from this.

Only in a leftist cesspool like CNN would Cuomo make $6 million a year. Good grief.

I'm hoping Kyle Rittenhouse bankrupts CNN before Fredo gets to court.

As inferred above, they deserve each other. I have no idea who said it first, but it so true that “what goes around, comes around”.

fredo had better watch out what he says and who he accuses, facts have a habit of sneaking into the argument when no one is looking, not that I care at all.
what's that old saying about "power corrupts"
however, the deep pockets are in CNN's favor

Chris knows that he will never get the big bucks again, so this is his last chance to cash in.

Good luck with that, Fredo. The discovery phase should be pretty interesting. Go enjoy your mansion in the Hamptons while you still can afford it.

While not knowing all of the facts, I think Fredo is wasting his time. Mario, what's up with your two boys or are you the one who taught them?

I don't care who wins. I just want to watch them go at it. And I want to read the discovery each side gets on the other and leaks to the press.

If CNN owes Fredo money, best they pay up. Otherwise, might have to root for CNN in this battle. My guess is that after licking his wounds, he is coming back to grift for money. Millions in salary don't go as far as they used to if you live in NYC.

I doubt if the future owner of CNN, Kyle, will agree to pay Cuomo anything.
And hopefully it will be the other way around.

Best comment on being paid $6 million per year was on Tucker last night.
(Paraphrasing) It's hard to imagine someone being paid $500,000 per viewer.

The straw that broke the Camel's Back, was another woman coming forward claiming she had been sexually abused by Fredo. There are always morals clauses in contracts of this type, so I don't see this lawsuit going anywhere.
Fredo is just claiming victimhood to muddy the waters to improve his chances of securing employment. MSNBC is not picky, so he may find a job there.

Chris Fredo Cuomo versus the Commie News Network is like Alien versus Predator. I don't give a fig who wins but I hope that they destroy each other.

If CNN doesn't have language in their contracts that disallows sexual misbehavior and collaboration with criminal elements then they are dumber than we thought and deserve to be sued.

The lawyets get fifty percent, the tax men, fed, state and city, get at least that and the Big Guy probably gets ten percent. Before you know it, that payday looks mighty thin. even if he wins. If he loses, fuggettaboudit.

I wonder what Mrs Fredo thinks of all this. I see a messy divorce in Fredo's future.

Well, now we have a dilemma. Who do we want to win this case? Fredo? Or his anti-American, leftwing former employer? For me, I'll have to root for CNN. I just can't stand Fredo.
